Påverkar personlighet graden av Organizational Citizenship Behavior?
Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) kännetecknas av individuella beteenden som inte finns med i de formella arbetsuppgifterna men som främjar arbetsplatsen. Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka om graden av OCB påverkas av personlighet och ett antal bakgrundsvariabler i en förändringskontext. I studien, som i huvudsak baserades på forskning av Organ med kollegor, undersöktes tre olika verksamhetsområden: Försäkringskassan, tandvården och detaljhandeln. Studien utformades med en kvantitativ forskningsstrategi med tvärsnittsdesign, där insamlingen av data skedde m.h.a. en enkät.
Corporate identity through graphic design
The degree project has been implemented abroad in Brisbane, Australia. A literature study has beenperformed parallel to the practical work within the subject »Corporate identity through graphicaldesign«. In this study deeper research has been made concerning the establishment and manifestationof a corporate identity and its program. The knowledge given from this study has been put into practicethrough two larger projects.The first project was carried out at De Pasquale, advertising agency in Brisbane, where a corporateidentity program was designed for a new company. The company is a fitness centre, called KnockoutFitness, which specializes in different types of boxing training sessions such as Boxing, Thai Bow andBoxercise but also Aqua aerobics.

The world is getting smaller. Global markets, political processes and communication technology bring people together. Even though many of these processes are dynamic and constructive, they have also resulted in a need for better and more effective ways of international conflict resolution. This thesis investigates central issues connected to the concept of humanitarian interventions in relation to current and future legislation of the European Union. The overall question is whether the rapid globalization process has resulted in a change of international law towards more liberal view where authorization of the security council is not always needed? And, if there has actually been such a liberalization, how does that affect the legal possibilities for the European Union to carry out armed operations without the consent of the global community?The conclusion of the thesis is that international law has been modified mainly in two aspects: First, the concept of sovereignty is no longer seen merely as a right of the nation, but also as a responsibility.
Barriers to Provide Cross Border Services/Case Study Nordea
There is an increase of financial integration, which can be seen in recent mergers of banks, financial institutions etc. in the European Union especially in the Nordic countries. However there are some weaknesses in providing consumers cross border services in the sector of banking, such as cross border bank account transfer of payments. The existing transaction costs do not encourage cross border services. Nevertheless a customer of a global or European bank can anticipate to be treated the same way in all of its branch offices inside the EU countries.
Avtal om rådgivning. En jämförande studie av svensk rätt och Draft Common Frame of Reference
Uppsatsens undersökningsområde är den världsomspännande idé eller rörelse som går under beteckningen Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), företags samhälleliga ansvar. En viktig del i CSR-rörelsen är den internationella avtalskonstruktion som benämns Global Compact. Med FN som plattform har ett globalt samarbete mellan företag och intressegrupper upprättats där frågan om företags samhälleliga ansvar behandlas med hjälp av tio principer. Undersökningen har två delsyften; A) att beskriva och undersöka bolags samhälleliga ansvar enligt Global Compact, särskilt enligt principerna 1 och 2, samt B) att kritiskt pröva frågan om det ansvaret är förenligt med bolags legala vinstsyfte. Först följer en deskriptiv redogörelse av CSR och Global Compact för att visa på grunder, struktur och terminologi.

AbstractA useful tool for companies to use in their differentiation process is proposed to be employee branding. Employee branding is developed and put forth by the management with the main task to formulate the brands vision and values, and communicate them to the employees. To promote the employee engagement and their relationship with the company, corporate storytelling can be applied, with is an internal communication that strengthens the internal rumour and values that represent the brand. Since engagement and motivation is important factors when creating a strong employee brand, there is a need for further research on how corporate storytelling is used by companies to influence employee engagement and motivation, as corporate storytelling leads to deeper commitment among employees.PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to explore how companies use corporate storytelling to influence their employee branding.MethodologyThe authors conducted a qualitative case study on how the retail organization Boomerang. The empirical material was collected thru semi-structured interviews with Boomerangs management and employees.ConclusionThe conclusion shows that the employees prefers when corporate storytelling and various communication is put in context, this because it?s easier for the employees to understand.

The new Swedish Companies Act allows Swedish companies to issue two instruments that were previously prohibited: mandatory convertibles and participating debentures. The aim of the thesis is to conduct a cross sectional study of Swedish corporate hybrid securities, especially in the light of the new Companies Act. The cross sectional study also includes areas such as credit rating, accounting and tax. The thesis concludes that it is possible, under Swedish law, to issue corporate hybrid securities that qualify for both high equity credit and tax deductible interest payments. The use of certain hybrid provisions are, however, restrained by Swedish company law.

Background and problem: Corporate Governance is a well-known phenomenon which has been the focus of plenty of research where the board of directors and the CEO have been regarded as important actors. What's affecting decisions regarding these actors has been debated whereas media has been pointed out of having an impact. To decide whether or not media can affect Corporate Governance have shown to be problematic whereas it exists divergent views regarding this. At the same time this relationship is more explored in other contexts than the swedish one, although this one is considered suitable for this. Consequently there is a motive for examining medias impact on Corporate Governance in Sweden. Purpose: The purpose of the thesis is to explain if media has an impact on Corporate Governance at an overall level.
Corporate Social Responsibility in Corporate Sweden: Drivers and Business Impact from a Strategic Management Perspective
This thesis purpose was to contribute to knowledge which could explain the driving forces behind Corporate Social Responsibility in corporate Sweden and their strategic impact from a management perspective. The method used to archive this research was a qualitative interpretative study conducted by interviews. The thesis is based on descriptive theories of drivers for CSR, concepts of strategy and CSR and normative/instrumental theories suggesting a strategic approach to CSR and stakeholder management. The empirical study is based on interviews with Swedish business managers in a strategic board position as well as consultants working with CSR strategies, supported with internet information from companies? webpage.
Frivilliga regleringar i den svenska byggindustrin-hur påverkar de företagen? : En studie om hur den svenska byggindustrin integrerar den frivilliga regleringen Global Compact och huruvida nyinstitutionell teori kan förklara detta fenomen
Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur företag inom den svenska byggindustrin integrerar Global Compact samt huruvida detta fenomen kan förklaras med delar av nyinstitutionell teori. Tidigare studier har påvisat svårigheter kring integreringen av frivilliga regleringar, såsom Global Compact, då de i stor utsträckning är utformade på ett övergripande och flexibelt sätt. Inom byggindustrin återfinns denna problematik, samtidigt som branschen de senaste åren gett hållbarhet ett ökat fokus. För att undersöka studiens syfte har vi gjort en fallstudie som inkluderar de tre största byggföretagen i Sverige. Resultatet visar att integreringen av Global Compact inom den svenska byggindustrin sker främst via uppförandekoder samt genom uttalade visioner och hållbarhetsaktiviteter, främst inom miljöområdet.

In the light of some company scandals the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance, the Code, was introduced in the year of 2004 to reinforce confidence in how Swedish listed companies are managed. As many of the other European codes of corporate governance, the Swedish Code is based on the principle of ?comply or explain?. The need for corporate governance regulation arises from the inherent conflict of interest between owners and managers. This conflict is limited in companies controlled by a family in contrast to companies that lack a strong owner.
Corporate Branding vid förvärv - en fallstudie av Matex/Willys i Lund
Syftet med vår uppsats är att undersöka och analysera hur en koncern via Corporate Branding integrerar och implementerar ett redan existerande koncept i ett förvärvat företag/kedja. Då Corporate Branding handlar om att bygga upp, förstärka och förmedla ett affärskoncept till både interna och externa intressenter, har vi, för att ge en heltäckande bild av processen, valt att undersöka och analysera båda dessa aspekter. Vår problemformulering bestod bland annat av följande frågor; Vilka förändringar har uppstått vid förvärvet? Vad händer med ett företags organisationsstruktur, kultur och identitet inför och efter ett förvärv? Hur har det förvärvande företaget använt sig av Corporate Branding för att implementera ett existerande affärskoncept i vårt fallföretag? Vilka reaktioner har uppstått internt och externt i samband med förvärvet? Hur skiljer sig de båda affärskoncepten från varandra? Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ fallstudie, samt en kvantitativ studie i form av enkätundersökning. Teorikapitlet är uppdelat i fyra delar och består av organisationsstrukturer, förvärvsteorier, intern samt extern Corporate Branding.
