This thesis has been performed at BAE Systems Hägglunds, which is located in Örnsköldsvik. Hägglunds has a wide background of engineering, where they have manufactured all from airplanes to lifting cranes. Currently they only produce track vehicles at Hägglunds, where they manufacture the CV90 and BVS10 models. This thesis concerns the BVS10 which is an all-terrain-vehicle. The main purpose with the BVS10 is to enable transportation of material and personnel thru tough terrain.

The purpose of this paper is to present a possible understanding of why the company Tekola is segregated according to sex. In accordance to this purpose, an understanding of how the segregation affects the employees in relation to power, values and possibilities is discussed. The theoretical understanding is that the organization of men and women within Tekola is done in close connection to creation of the meaning of gender in Tekola. This, in turn, affects and is affected by the recruitment to and within the company. Through the study of statistics from a survey, five interviews with employees and former employees and Tekolas? equality plan, we are able to see the possible existence of a Glass ceiling, and a culture of homosociality, which affects the possibilities of women to enter the company and also to gain full entrance to power-positions in a negative way.

Den negativa miljöpåverkan från förbrukning av fossila bränslen ökar kravet på förnyelsebara energikällor. Biobränsle är ett speciellt lovande alternativ. Detta projekt vill visa på möjligheten att använda gas från biobränsleförgasning som förbränns utan synliga flammor i Glassmältugnar. Med bättre teknik är det möjligt både att upprätthålla produktionen och reducera kväveoxidutsläppen med ekonomiska fördelar. Biobränslena bidrar inte till växthuseffekten.

This degree project was made in cooperation with AssiDomän Frövi and Charlotte Andersson and the main objectivehas been to create to ice cream pacbges from 250 gsm Frövi Light board. The paekages are intended to be easilyresealable while decreasing in size together with the ice cream. The project also describes the food packaging labelsand symbols currently present in the European common market.Both capsules utilize a separate lid for resealing. One of the paekages (Capsuie A) is indended to be cut along withthe ice cream and thereby decrease in size. The other one (Capsuie B) uses a series of flaps for contracting and expandingwhich enab1es adjusting of the size without cutting the package up.The design for Capsuie A is created both as a series of flavours with a super-hero theme intended for children andwith a colfee flavour for a maturer audience.

Idag värms glasugnar upp med antingen gasol eller olja, detta projekt vill visa på möjligheten att istället använda gas från biobränsleförgasning som förbränns utan synliga flammor. Detta skulle miljömässigt ge fördelarna att biobränslen inte bidrar till växthuseffekten och ge förutsättningar för att minska kväveoxidutsläppen genom bättre teknik än dagens.För att visa att det är möjligt att både behålla produktionen och reducera kväveoxiderna med förgasningsgas konstruerades en modell av ugnen och strömningsbilden studerades i vattenmodell. För att undersöka värmeöverföringen i ugnen behöver en eller flera kalorimetrar konstrueras för att kunna användas vid varma försök. Dimensionsberäkningar gjordes som visade att detta är möjligt med vissa typer av kalorimetrar..

Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka hur investerare inom equity crowdfunding förhåller sig på den informella riskkapitalmarknaden och huruvida de tillför något nytt på denna marknad. Uppsatsen ser till vilka möjliga motiv och risker det innebär att investera i equity crowdfunding och även eventuella förväntningar på utfallet av det investerade kapitalet. Denna studie har bidragit till att se investerare i equity crowdfunding som en ny form av karaktär på den informella riskkapitalmarknaden, där premisser för risktagande och motivation till investeringen skiljer sig från tidigare investerarkategorier. Genom att se till existerande teorier och litteratur på området informellt riskkapital dras paralleller med den insamlade empirin. Investerarna på den informella riskkapitalmarknadens kan karaktäriseras utefter fyra kategorier: microinvesterare, finansiella placerare, kompetensinvesterare och affärsänglar. För att kunna analysera motiven och förväntningarna på investeringar i equity crowdfunding har teorier om risker och motivation använts.

The aim with my work is to get a deeper knowledge about the preschool's views of environmental work. I also want to examine how the preschool teachers along with the children work with the project Green Flag in the preschool. I have used structured interview with two teachers in a preschool that works with Green Flag. Green Flag is an environment certification and is an evidence on that one works daily with a document aimed environmental work along with the children. I have found out that each year they work with different themes within Green Flag.

Hospitals have a set perception as an unpleasant and frighteningatmosphere.The examination-rooms of today within the children?shospitals are often bare and needs embellishment and decoration tocreate a satisfying setting. The decoration might have the function asa divertion from pain and anxiety.According to my experience the decorations of today consists mainlyof Winnie the Pooh figures, a clown or a hockey poster, never anythinglinked to the body and it?s functions.Spina, Thorax & Femur is a project that focuses on the visual identityand possibility to a deeper understanding and playfulness around thebody perception within the nursing environment.A visit at the hospital could be part of a creative knowledgeacquisition. The project result are two boards of Glass-enamelledsteel.

The research on Ingmar Bergman is comprehensive, however, there is one aspect of his artistry that has been regrettably neglected ? his use of music. Music always played a huge part in Bergman?s life, and it was also a great source of inspiration. The music was a structural component in the creating process and he often referred to his films as pieces of music and his actors as musical instruments.

ABSTRACTMany wind turbines have problems with icing and there is still no effective method to de-ice without stoppage of production and power loss. Here I therefore consider other methods than those available today, and particularly, I consider how these methods could be applied to wind turbines of the company Oxel. A surface where the water droplets do not attach might be the basis for a useful method. If no water attaches, no ice could form. To accomplish this a hydrophobic surface is nessesary, for example wax.

Medieval Glasses have for long been a neglected object group in archeological research in Sweden. With that in mind I choose to write about those in my essay. The aim of this paper is to bring the medieval Glasses into the archaeological research. I intend to show where you can find medieval Glass in Sweden and what kind of Glasses have been made. I will also discuss why the archeological research is so limited when it comes to the medieval drinking Glasses.

At this point seamen have a lot of tasks of administrative character, beyond the traditional tasks aboard a ship. Due to the new conventions that are formed by IMO, more requirements are added which often lead to time consuming administrative tasks and documentation that should be spent on activities which are contributing to the ships safety. The issue has been observed by IMO that has through BIMCO done a study with the aim to identify and reduce administrative burdens at sea.The primary aim of this study is to find out if safety officers aboard Swedish ferries consider that SOLAS Chapter III, 8.3 och 19.5 regulations are administrative burdens, restricted to muster lists and documentation of training aboard the ship.The secondary questions to the study are if it is possible to remove, combine or change the documents and how much time can be saved by doing this. The question about timesaving could not be answered, because the values were scattered and could not be used for further investigation. The observed values were accumulated by a survey and the result indicated that safety officers did not experience the two regulations as administrative burdens.

Too high levels of noise lead to various health problems and cost society billions of SEK peryear. In this thesis we have examined a model of the A40E articulated hauler at VolvoConstruction Equipment in Braås. We have tried to reduce cabin noise in an articulated hauler,while also providing a way on how to proceed with a machine when the cabin does not measureup to the sound requirement. The best way to find leaks were with a reference source of model4205 and its speaker HP 1001 from Brüel & Kjaer in the cab and then walk around and listen towhere the reference source was more prominent. In this way, we found that the edges and theplugs were sensitive areas.

Tylö AB is the leading manufactor of sauna cabins in Europe, but there is a lack of a sauna lightning produced by Tylö. The project of developing a new sauna lightning series was assigned two students at the developmentengineering program at Halmstad University. The main problem with lightning in the sauna is the heat and security aspect. The selection fell on LED technology as the lightning source, thanks to its small measures and low heat emission. The work of constructing of a lightning armature which the capability of cooling down the LED lightning was carried out during autumn ?06 and spring ?07.
