Syftet med denna undersökning är att studera vilka faktorer som är viktiga för att ungdomsbehandling på institutioner ska få ett önskvärt resultat. Majoriteten av alla institutionsplaceringar misslyckas, men i denna undersökning studeras hur det kommer sig att vissa institutionsplaceringar faktiskt når ett önskat resultat. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer med fem ungdomar, alla med erfarenhet av lyckade behandlingsresultat, lyfts framgångs- och skyddsfaktorer fram. Dessa ungdomar har varit placerade på institution med anledning av asociala beteenden såsom missbruk, kriminalitet och våld och samtliga har genomgått en livsstilsförändring. Undersökningen intresserar sig för vilka faktorer som leder till framgång och studien utgår från ett salutogent perspektiv.

This Masters Degree thesis aims at giving an answer to what underlying ideologies are at work in digitizing our cultural heritage. Other questions to be answered are who are benefiting from a digitized cultural heritage and who are not, and what different opinions about digitizing our cultural heritage can be identified. Two studies are made in this thesis, one of Swedish political documents that concern digitizing our cultural heritage, libraries, museums and archives, and the other one is a study of documentation of three Swedish digitizing projects. In the first study three different, but closely associated ideologies are identified, namely a preserving, b giving access and c a mixture of both, and these are shown in a model. In the second study this model is then used to identify the ideologies of one project from each sector of the so called ABM-sector Archives, Libraries and Museums.

Varje år blir tusentals barn och ungdomar placerade för vård och behandling utanför det egna hemmet. Trots att en placering på institution eller i ett familjehem innebär ett omfattande ingrepp i de ungas liv finns det idag mycket lite forskning inom området som utgår ifrån de ungas perspektiv. Detta är bakgrunden till vår egen studie, i vilken vi har velat lyfta framungdomarnas egna upplevelser och erfarenheter av institutionsplacering.Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att via institutionsplacerade ungdomars egna berättelseroch tankar försöka förstå hur vägen fram till placeringen har sett ut samt om det underplaceringstiden har skett några förändringar i deras liv och i deras syn på sig själva och sinlivssituation. Vi har därför utgått ifrån följande frågeställningar:- Hur har vägen fram till placeringen sett ut?- Hur beskriver ungdomarna sina erfarenheter av att bli placerade på institution?- Beskriver ungdomarna förändringar eller vändpunkter i sina liv under placeringstidenoch har deras syn på sin livssituation och sig själva förändrats?För att uppnå vårt syfte och besvara våra frågeställningar har vi valt att ha en kvalitativ ansats och har genomfört halvstrukturerade livsvärldsintervjuer med tre institutionsplaceradeungdomar.

Till följd av en havs- och vattenmiljösatsning tillsatte regeringen år 2009 en utredning för att ta fram förslag på utformningen av en ny havs- och vattenmiljömyndighet. Detta skullekunna ses som ett skifte inom svensk miljövård som präglats av en integrerad syn på miljöfrågor som rör land, luft och vatten, under hantering av Naturvårdsverket. Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att undersöka om vattenvårdens inblandade aktörer lyfter perspektivet om sammanhållningen mellan land-, luft- och vattenfrågor när de argumenterar för eller emot den nya myndighetens etablerande samt huruvida detta kan förankras i deras institutionella ställningstagande. Genom en kvalitativ textanalys har frågeställningar om och hur en integrerad syn på land-, luft- och vattenmiljö lyfts av aktörerna undersökts. Vidare undersöks en hypotes om förankring mellan integrerad syn och val av Naturvårdsverket som institution.

The aim of this study was to examine the relations between women?s perceived stress off the job (dependent variable), responsability for household chores, emotional support, number of children living at home, neuroticism and age (independent variables). Comparisons between the present sample and two independent samples from previous research were made with regard to perceived stress and neuroticism. The sample of this study consisted of 186 women working in the fields of health care and geriatric care. The results showed that perceived stress correlated positively with neuroticism and number of children and negatively with emotional support, though the effectsizes for number of children and emotional support were fairly small.

This masters thesis aims at a discussion about whether the public library will be an educating and cultivating society institution in the future. The method used is a combination of interviews with library staff in leading position and studies of the public librarys relationship to cultivation and adult education in a changeable society. The work concentrates on two main questions. One is about what, and in which way, changes, that are important for the public library and that take place in society now or within the next ten years, affect the future activities of the library. The other is about the public librarys relationship to cultivation in general and in the future.

ABSTRACTAim: The aim of this study was to examine differences in the documentation of the case incident reports, before (FRP) and after (FRE) the introduction of a quality standard for fall prevention in the geriatric departments at a Swedish University hospital. Method: 51 fall incident reports were collected before the introduction of quality standards for fall prevention and 63 after. Differences in documentation between the fall incident reports were analyzed with a Chi-2 test. Results: Number of case incidents in which the use of the alarm mat was documented increased after the introduction of quality standards for fall prevention and documented use of shoes and walker decreased. The majority of all documented case incidents occurred inside the patient room according to both FRP and FRE.

Syftet med denna studie är att utvärdera ett HVB-hem vilket bedriver miljö- och individualte-rapeutisk behandling av ungdomar i åldrarna 16-19 år. Vidare syftar studien till att utvärdera verksamhetens arbetssätt vid kritiska händelser enligtcritical incident-metoden. Således fin-ner författarna följande frågeställningar relevanta för utvärderingen: Vilka slags kritiska hän-delser uppstår i verksamheten enligt personalens upplevelser? Hur löses/slutar de kritiska händelserna i verksamheten? Är lösningarna av de kritiska händelserna förankrade i miljöte-rapeutisk teori? Utvärderingen grundas i uppgifter från nio respondenter, varav en av respondenterna är utvärderingens författare. Datainsamlingen utgörs i sin tur av observationer, frågeformulär och kompletterande intervjuer.

This examination work is performed at the institution of industrial economy and production at Jonkoping technical university, for JELD-WEN Door Solutions plant in Forserum.Today the focus in the company is on to reduce their inventories binding of capitals as well as inventory of products and that includes to get a good control of the supply and handling of material which is of great importance.JELD-WEN Door Solutions is one of the worlds leading producers of windows and doors and the head-office is located in Oregon, USA.A great number of wooden doors are manufactured by the company in varying of constructions, classifications and performance.The production of the plant in Forserum has a project- and customer focus manufacturing where only internal doors are produced. The overall market they are concentrated on is to different institution such as schools, hospitals etc.The purpose of this work is to investigate possibilities to improvement of material- and production control at JELD-WEN. The report will handle the master production schedule to and from the production divisions within manufacturing industry. Focus will be on the way for information- and material flows from arrival, transport within the company and further on to customers.Further a map of the flow was performed which gave a clearer picture of the connection between the flow of information- and material for the manufacturing process. On the basis of the mapping of the flow, the group discovered that the flow of material had some improvement potential.

Uppsatsen grundar sig på en diskursanalytisk undersökning av det hälsofrämjande arbetets struktur och förhållningssätt ur ett sociologiskt perspektiv. Fyra olika verksamheter som på ett eller annat sätt arbetar med hälsofrämjande verksamhet har undersökts, Socialdepartementet, Folkhälsoinstitutet(Fhi), Hälsofrämjande Sjukhus(Hfs) samt Södra Älvsborgs Sjukhus(SÄS). Jag utförde även en undersökning på individnivå, där anställda på SÄS fick uttrycka åsikter och tankar om hälsa och hälsofrämjande arbete. Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka den sociologiska forskningens inverkan och roll inom det hälsofrämjande arbetet.Det hälsofrämjande arbetet är uppbyggt kring tvärvetenskaplig forskning men fokuset på hur detta ska implementeras i individers vardag har fokus på det samhällsvetenskapliga. Sociologiska begrepp och perspektiv ges utrymme i diskurser och de sociala behoven uppmärksammas och bidrar till utvecklingen.

I Bergs kommun startades år 2003 ett öppenvårdsprojekt då kommunen märkte av en påtaglig ökning av barn och unga som var i behov av socialtjänstens insatser. Denna verksamhet kom att heta Bergssprängarna. Mitt syfte var från början att jämföra de barn och unga som blivit föremål för placering på institution och familjehem och de som fått insats genom Bergssprängarna för att se om grupperna var likvärdiga och jämföra kostnaderna för respektive verksamhet. Men under arbetes gång har syftet förändrats då jag inte fått tillgång till de ekonomiska underlagen som skulle belysa varje individs totala kostnad för respektive insats. Därför redovisas endast grova kostnadsunderlag.

People live longer. There is a growing need to increase the knowledge of aging and of the need among the elderly for medical care in the near future. As a step towards meeting this need, a survey among the elderly in Skåne is made by the division of Geriatric Medicine in Malmö University Hospital. This survey is called Gott åldrande i Skåne, GÅS. A frequent decease among the elderly is Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI).
