En fallstudie i huruvida mångfalden av valmöjligheter och funktioner i en modern synth påverkar musikskapandeprocessen. Undersökningen fokuseras på att undersöka hur dagens kompositörer använder sig av ljudskapande i moderna synthar. Syftet med denna undersökning är att se om mångfald av funktioner i en modern synth påverkar musikskapandet, för att ge läsaren en tankeställare angående arbetsflödet i sitt musikskapande, så att en effektivisering av processen kan tillämpas och att om möjligt, ge rum för mera musikskapande och mindre teknikförståelse. Denna undersökning gjordes genom att genomföra ett antal intervjuer samt en kompletterande enkätundersökning. Slutstsen jag kommit fram till är att en mångfald av funktioner påverkar musikskapandet, antingen negativt eller positivt beroende på genre och kompositörens erfarenhet av synthar..

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka om man med utgångspunkt i Steampunk-genren inom datorspel, kan göra en implementation av stereotypa High fantasy-element och hur det kommer att uppfattas av Steampunk-entusiaster. Kommer de överhuvudtaget att märka skillnaden och om så är fallet, hur pass stor inverkan tycker de att implementationen har?För att undersöka detta så skapades två karaktärskoncept, en man och en kvinna. Dessa karaktärer utrustades sedan med fyra uppsättningar karaktäristiska kläder och föremål från Steampunk-genren. Sedan lade jag till två stereotypa detaljer från High fantasyn på varje karaktär.

A lotof things have happened since then andnow the self-driving vehicle is notfar away. In this project, theAutonomous car with microcontrollerand ultrasonic sensors, we are lookingat a way of making a small, regular RCcar autonomous with relatively simplemeans and investigate how the bigcompanies does it to learn more aboutthe development of the autonomous carsand their technology.We used an Arduino Uno R3 supplementedwith an Arduino Motor Shield R3 as ourmicrocontroller board and three HCSR04ultrasonic sensors. By removingalmost all of the old parts of the RCcar,except the two DC motors, andreplacing them with these new parts wemanaged to make a vehicle that drovearound in a room without crashing intoanything. We could have used entirelydifferent sensors, or supplemented theexisting setup with other sensors tomake it even more accurate andobstacle avoiding.

By our employer Camatec Industriteknik AB have we been given the assignment to continue with the previous work ?Design of strip feeder?. Our goal with this work is to come up with a design basis for a strip feeder.Functionally a strip feeder consists of two rollers which with the aid of the friction between the strip and the coating on the roller create a strip force that pulls the strip through the working progress.Demands on this project:? 10 ? 600 mm in strip width and 0,1-1 mm in strip thickness.? Minimum 30m/min in production speed.? A maximum strip force on 30-40 kN.? The cost of the strip feeder?s components is to be considered of economy and quality.The need of a strip feeder occurs when the coil doesn?t manage to feed or pull the strip before or after a working process. The strip can otherwise be exposed by a permanent yield deformation or a change in the strip material if it?s pulled trough the working process only by the on ? and of-coils.

In order to sustain the form of the literary source the adaptation to movie requires certain strategies. Först of all, the diary genre is characterized by a one-dimensional narration. Second, diaries only supply a few written dialogues, hence this "void" has to be compensated and filled by media specific measures. Third, the investigated diary is a story of individualization and emancipation of a single woman.

Mitt syfte med föreliggande uppsats är att peka på vilka stildrag som kan sägas vara typiska för Bodil Malmsten utifrån Det är fortfarande ingen ordning på mina papper från 2003. Bodil Malmstens genreövergripande författarskap kommer väl till uttryck i denna bok. Den innehåller drag av både prosa och lyrik, vilket medför att det är svårt att placera boken i en enda genre. Malmsten tar sig an stora som små livsfrågor och ämnet skiftar mellan det privata och det allmängiltiga. Jag ämnar därför även se om, och i så fall hur, hennes stil skiljer sig åt beroende på vilket ämne som tematiseras.

During the period called Little Ice Age (1400 ~ 1900) the climate of northern Europe was in an annual year-basis overall colder than it was before and after that period. The numbers of short, cold and rainy summers and long, bitter-cold winters where often repetitive under the approximately 500-years the period lasted. In Scandinavia, the coldest time during this period is estimated to have started around the end of the 16th century and lasted to the beginning of the 18th century. Trees growing at the tree-line are limited by temperature for their annual growth and hence showing differences of growth during changes in the climate,  a method called dendroclimatology. The variations of growth can be read in the tree-rings either by analyze the width of the ring or by look into the density of the wood and is used to reconstruct past climates.

Den här uppsatsen visar en analys av 'Survival-Horror', samlar information om pussel och skr äck f or att utforma en hypotes hur dessa kan kombineras. The purpose of my study was to determine whether there are any differences between the language that men use and the one that women use in a context that has not yet been studied. With the results of previous studies from other areas in mind I tried to ascertain if the stereotypes that exist about language and gender may also be transmitted to the comedy stage. I compared two stand-up comedians with opposite sex in a clip from a Swedish television show. The comparison was based on their body language, the use of nouns and verbs and on the length of their words. I used a combination of a qualitative and a quantitative method.

Detta arbete syftar till att skapa en bättre förståelse till orsakerna bakom PA-teknikers val av ljudnivå på en konsert, och varför dessa ljudnivåer är så pass höga som de är idag. Ett antal ljudtekniker har i rollen som PA-tekniker fått besvara några frågor om ljudnivån på konserter. Dessutom har ett flertal konsertbesökare fått svara på bl.a. om de tycker att ljudnivån på konserter brukar vara lagom eller för hög. De flesta ljudteknikerna och nästan två tredjedelar av konsertbesökarna tyckte att ljudnivån brukar vara för hög.

Den här uppsatsen behandlar en studie i hur man arrangerar för blåsinstrument inom popmusik. Arbetet avser arrangemang till 3 låtar för blåsmusiker och kompmusiker samt inspelning av arrangemangen i studio. Arbetet har genomförts med musiker från Piteå musikhögskola samt genom intervjuer med svenska professionellt verksamma arrangörer.Arrangemangen och inspelningarna genomfördes på Musikhögskolan I Piteå under vintern 2013.Det jag har kommit fram till i detta arbete är att det viktigaste när man skriver blåsarrangemang är hur man komponerar arrangemangen. När man instrumenterar arrangemanget är det viktigt att ta hänsyn till vilken genre man arrangerar för samt vilken nivå musikerna som ska spela arrangemanget är på. Av dom inspelningstekniker som finns föredrar jag att hela blåssektionen spelar in tillsammans.

The study focuses on the use of poetry in language teaching in the lower grades in the Swedish school. Poetry has a reputation of being an art form with such specific rules and structures that children and teachers think that it is something that they do not have the ability to work with.  The purpose of this study is to get an understanding of how poetry is used in educating children. My research is based on the following questions. To which extent is poetry being used in schools and how is it being used?Can you as a teacher see any effects on childrens language development by using poetry?As a part of my study I have met with and interviewed four different people, who in one way or another is involved in teaching children. Two working teachers in the lower grades, one pedagogical resource and one artist that work with teachers in reaching different goals through the help of aesthetic processes.

The purpose of the thesis was to analyse three action films; Collateral Damage from 2002; Clear and Present Danger from 1994; and Scarface from 1983, in order to see how Colombians are represented in these movies.The action genre comprises of different stereotypes where the hero and the villain are represented in conjunction to each other. The analysis is about the way the films content and form are used to uphold the representation of Colombians, but also the villain and the hero more generally.Critical Discourse Analysis was used, as main method, and the concepts of denotation and connotation guided the analysis. The main conclusion is that the three movies reproduced an already established collective stereotype of Latin Americans, stereotype that includes both Colombia and Colombians..
