Background: How do leaders act during organisational changes which involve downsizing? The leader often ends up in focus during these processes. These issues are by no means recently developed. Already the medieval author Machiavelli wrote about leaders? problems with leading changes.

This essay is about "factionstexter", a combination between fact and fiction, and the problems that can occur when reading them. I present previous resarch on this subject and I focused on docu drama and dramadoc. Bo G Jansson is the researcher I used most frequently in this essay. He describes various types of faction texts in film, television and literature. Annette Årheim´s thesis stands for the didactic portion of the essay.

BACKGROUND: Pressure ulcers are unpleasant and painful and causes anxiety not only patient but also for the relatives. It also results in longer hospital stay and increased costs for health care sector and because of this it?s important to identify and survery the origin and what preventive measures there are to prevent pressure ulcer. AIM: To illustrate the nurses´ work to prevent the origin of pressure ulcers. METHOD: A general literary study where scientific articles were searched and found in electronic databases and through manual searches.

In this study the aim is to examine how employees in treatment programmes relate to girls that self-harm. To achieve this four questions were formulated: (1) What experiences does the empolyees have of meeting girls that self-harm? (2) Based on the employees? experiences, what has been the background to why the girls self-harm? (3) Based on the employees? experience, what increases or decreases the risk of self-harm? (4) How do the employees? work with girls that self-harm? The method being used was qualitative interviews with vignettes. The theoretical framework is Becker?s Labeling Theory and Bronfenbrenner?s Ecology of Human Development.

The purpose of the present study was to translate Western AphasiaBattery ? Revised (WAB-R) to Swedish and test the translation on a group of nonlanguage-impaired individuals. The purpose was also to establish equivalencebetween WAB-R and its Swedish translation and to examine a possible correlationbetween test results and the background factors sex, age, educational length andfirst language. 67 subjects participated in the study. The results showed that femalesex, long education (?12 yrs) and being a native speaker of Swedish had significantpositive association to a higher test result.

This thesis is based on a case study of the City of Stockholm. The study aims to explore the effects on the city's large investments caused by the public reform. Furthermore, the question concerns the character of the impact and if it will affect what type of investments that will be prioritized. The theoretical background is based on Brunsson's ideas about political organizations shifting towards corporate nature, and Almqvist's interpretation of New Public Management (NPM). Moreover, models explaining public management reform, and the main components of corporate shifting, are used.

This paper is a literature study on search engine optimization (SEO) considering the leader of the search engine market: Google. There´s an introductory background description of Google and its methods of  crawling the Internet and indexing the web pages, along with a brief review of the famous PageRank algorithm. The purpose of this paper is to describe the major important methods for improved rankings on Google´s result lists. These methods could be categorized as on-page methods tied to the website to be optimized or off-page methods that are external to the website such as link development. Furthermore the most common unethical methods are described, known as ?black hat?, which is the secondary purpose of the text.

Background: Febrile seizures are common in childhood. When a child is stricken with febrile seizures it is not only the child that is suffering, in fact the whole family is affected. There are different ways to prevent recurrence of febrile seizures, such as use of different drugs. The parents also need information about febrile seizures and support from the nurse. Aim: The aim of this literature study was to illuminate the nurse?s preventive work for children who have been stricken with febrile seizures.

SammanfattningModular Management AB (MM) är en konsultfirma som arbetar med att implementera Modulära produktarkitekturer hos produktutvecklande företag. Företaget grundades i Stockholm år 1996 där huvudkontoret ligger än idag. De är världsledande inom sin genre och på grund av stor efterfrågan har kontor uppförts även i USAoch i Kina.Detta examensarbete är utfört på uppdrag av MM och har genomförts med hjälp av deras kunder i Finland samt kundens CAD-leverantör. Det behandlar modularisering och hur detta realiseras med hjälp av datorbaserad konstruktion (CAD). Detta är en MMs produkter och den kallas Modular Modeling.

This project started when LIC Audio AB wanted help with development of a hearing aid for public rooms. The problem is that a lot of people suffer from some sort of hearing impairment. In places with a lot of people and background noise the problem becomes bigger and the sound seems to flow together. During the project we found the solution for the problem in the shape of a headphone. The headphone receives a signal from a preinstalled hearing loop.

This thesis presents an application that performs positioning of modules automatically based on given data for every module, and the development of it. The basis of the application is from a previous thesis code. On top of that code, more features and error handling has been added, as well as fixes for various bugs. A stress test has been performed and further development possibilities are being presented.The thesis work was carried out at Toyota Material Handling Mjölby (TMH) and was made in parallel with another thesis by Fredrik Holden who was generating data for the application. Problemformuleringen i denna studie är ?Hur uppfattar fiollärare genrebreddens betydelse för elevers fortsatta musikintresse och utveckling?? Hur bemöter musikskolan den musikaliska evolutionen? Den evolution vilken, i och med 1900-talets paradigmskifte, fört det musikaliska synsättet från det traditionella mot ett allt mer öppet klimat i musikundervisningen. För att få svar på detta vände jag mig till fyra fiollärare med fiollärarutbildning och använde den kvalitativa intervjun som metod. Samtliga informanter hade erfarenhet inom yrket. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att lärarna upplever elevernas musikidentitet mycket starkare än förr, vilket resulterar i att låtvalet är väldigt viktigt.

Mot bakgrund av att kursplanerna i svenskämnet ger utrymme för tolkning, då det inte uttryckligt står vilken specifik genrerepertoar svenskläraren ska hjälpa sina elever att tillägna sig, har syftet i detta arbete dels varit att undersöka vilken skriftlig genrerepertoar som lyfts fram i gymnasieskolan i det nationella provet samt i läromedlen, dels att undersöka vilken typ av stöd som eleverna får för sitt genreskrivande. Arbetet har utgått från följande frågeställningar:-Vilken genrerepertoar lyfts fram av uppgifterna i de nationella proven i Svenska B och de valda läromedlen för Svenska A och B?-Vilket stöd ger underlaget inför och uppgiftsbeskrivningar i det nationella provet och läromedlen, när det gäller återkommande genrer i de nationella proven?Den metod som har använts för att besvara frågeställningarna är både kvantitativ och kvalitativ. Det undersökta materialet har bestått av 20 nationella prov i svenska B, ett kopieringsunderlag inför provet samt fem läromedel för svenska A och B. Arbetet är indelat i två delstudier, en för proven och en för läromedlen.
