Denna rapport är ämnad att undersöka vilken sorts feedback digitala spel kan ge föratt främja motivation och lärande. Studien utförs kvalitativt med fokusgrupper somdatainsamlingsmetod och med högstadieelever som målgrupp. Syftet med studien äratt undersöka dessa aspekter i digitala spel för att se hur de kan överföras till lärospeleller serious games på ett effektivt och ändamålsenligt sätt. Frågeställningenutformas dock med ett något bredare omfång för att möjliggöra andra eventuellaanvändningsområden för resultaten. Resultaten från studien jämförs med existerandelitteratur och slutsatserna visar att digitala spel främjar lärande och motivation genomatt tillåta en stegvis kunskap, en intuitiv förståelse genom att sätta information i enrelevant kontext eller handling och där spelaren hela tiden har ett syfte med att utföraen uppgift.

Den här uppsatsen har som syfte att undersöka användningen av spel i skolundervisning. Den är genomförd som en systematisk forskningsöversikt där information samlats in via vetenskapliga artiklar som sedan granskats och analyserats. Resultaten kommer ifrån frågeställningar gällande hur spel kan implementeras i undervisningen, hur bra spel för lärande designas och vilka effekter spelbaserat lärande har hos eleverna. För att göra detta användas tre teoretiska perspektiv som belyser olika delar av frågeställningarna. Det första är Gees Affinity Spaces som behandlar den sociala miljön för lärande.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att jämföra diskurser med nyutbildade slöjdlärares resonemang om skolslöjd och hållbar utveckling. Detta gjorde jag genom att utföra en semistrukturerad intervjustudie där fem nyutbildade slöjdlärare ingick. Utifrån de ämnen informanterna valde att tala om under intervjuerna skapade jag teman, vilka jag sedan undersökte i resultatkapitlet. De teman som undersöktes var återbruk, materialhushållning, reparationer, teori i slöjd, ämnesövergripande arbete samt skapa versus köpa. Innehållet i några av dessa teman föreskrivs i styrdokumenten medan andra inte gör det.

This bachelor thesis is studying the INTERREG cooperation between Denmark and Germany, and if there has been a change to the organization and the individual conditions due to the Danish regional reform in 2007. The research method used is semi-structured interviews and the participants are a mixture of politicians and civil servants. The study is based on two themes, change in work routines and cooperation, and change in visions and targets.The participants have experienced change, both positive and negative, in work routines and cooperation and to a lesser extent in visions and targets. Preparation is the key to success and makes the transition much easier, which has been the case for Denmark. Other mentioned aspects are more work due to more complicated applications, and that the politicians so far lack a regional perspective and tend to stick to the local.

To establish sustainability reports is an increasing trend for more and more companies. This has led to a spread of the international framework Global reporting initiative, GRI, guidelines to make a sustainability reports. This trend has got a lot of critics from various stakeholders who believe that companies in these reports communicate the information in a way of window dressing. Both negative and positive information has to be represented according to GRI: s principle of balance.  Window dressing is created by adding a greater emphasis on the positive information. The researchers review the context of the negative information to study the extent to which it is reported and whether there are patterns and variations in the reported information.

Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ intervjustudie, med barnperspektiv som metodologisk utgångspunkt. Syftet är att infoga några barns röster, angående vem som stör(s) i det offentliga rummet.Intervjuerna genomfördes våren 2008 i Stockholmsområdet, med ett urval av fyra barn i nioårsåldern. Gruppintervjuerna skedde vid två tillfällen och formen var halvstrukturerad.Olika teorier tillämpas utifrån en problematisering av vuxenmakt, där barnens reflektioner relateras med positioneringar och normer. Teoretiska begrepp från queer- och maskulinitetsteori används för att se till maktdynamiken, mellan barn och vuxna. Det framkommer att de intervjuade barnen använder sig av olika motståndsstrategier, för att handskas med rådande vuxenmakt i det offentliga rummet.

Since the Maastricht Treaty the European Parliament has gained competence in the decision-making process and the Parliament is today one of two decision-making institution, next to the Ministers of Council. In this study the main focus has been to shed light over the negotiation culture within the European Parliament, which up till now has been a neglected research area. This is of great significance because the internal negotiations in the European Parliament decide the external negotiation position with the other institutions.After face-to-face interviews with MEP:s and assistants I have been able to identify certain characteristics to create an understanding of the negotiation culture in Europe's elected Parliament. The negotiations are oriented towards a problems-solving approach and the prevailing apprehension is consensus-based negotiations instead of the existence of political blocks. The committees are stronger than the European party groups, which further encourage negotiation.

This multiple use forestry plan is made on the property Basunda which is located in the southern parts of the province Östergötland. The owners of the property today are Jonas and Ulrik Saanum, but it has been in the family since their grandfather bought it 1933. There is a slaughterhouse on the property in which they take care of domestic cattle and animals from the forest. Jonas and Ulrik are also dedicated hunters. These are the two reasons to why the focus is wildlife and wildlife management. The question at issue of this work is simplified: what demands does the wildlife have; and how will the owners be able to fulfill these, what changes in the forest management must be made and will these changes result in a different budget, compared to the ordinary forest management. This work is based from a freshly made forestry management plan. I based my fieldwork on this plan, but made my own management proposals, that would benefit the game.

The purpose of this literature review was to describe if the nutritional balance of the fats, carbohydrates, proteins and fibers can lead to weight reduction and to improve glucos-/blood lipid for individuals with obesity and type 2 diabetes. The method used was a literature review. Twenty-two scientific articles were chosen, which were consistent with the study purpose and questions. The articles were selected based on searches in the Medline database by PubMed. The keywords used were type 2 diabetes mellitus, diet, obesity, comparative, fat, carbohydrate, low carbohydrate, high fat and saturated fat.

Title: Alexander Technique - Different thoughts on the Alexander Technique and its effect on the singing voice. Does singing lessons cause tension in the student? What should you as a teacher consider to avoid situations that cause tension? This examination is based on interviews. The persons who have been interviewed are singing students, singing teachers and teachers in the Alexander Technique. The literature and the interviews describe the Alexander Technique as a method that, with support of a teacher of the Alexander Technique, helps you to recreate the balance between the cranium, neck and spine.

This essay is a part of a project called ?Young peoples representation of love and relationships? and was initialized in Barcelona in January 2006. The University of Barcelona cooperates with the University college of Södertörns Högskola to compare perception of love among youths in both countries. The project focuses on teenagers between 13-19 years of age. The project uses four types of questionnaires with questions about love, feelings, empathy and relationships witch were compiled by research workers at the University of Barcelona.?A Love-ly game? is a qualitative study that is based on a questionnaire-investigation made in a Gymnasium-school in a suburb south of Stockholm.

The aim is to examine teachers own experiences of leadership, leadership styles and what good leadership is and to find out how teacher leadership can influence students according to teachers. My questions are: How do teachers evaluate leadership and their own leadership styles?What is good leadership according to teachers?How can the teachers leadership styles affect students in the classroom according to teachers?The method used is a qualitative method based on interviews with five teachers. The reason why I have chosen a qualitative research method is that I believe that this method can give me better results by understanding the world from the interviewees? point of view.I have come to the conclusion that the interviewed teachers believe that leadership and management style play a large role in the teacher's profession and that the teacher's leadership style in the classroom democratic or authoritarian have a major impact on students. The teacher should consider his management and find some sort of balance by exercising both democratic and authoritarian leadership style and adapt it to the situation. And In terms of results regarding good leadership of the interviewed teachers, I can say that good leadership is largely about good relationships between teachers and students and that a teacher can become accepted as leader by winning students confidence..

Spelens dragningskraft har länge varit outforskad och vad som motiverar oss att spela är fortfarande svårt att definiera. Spelindustrin saknar ett ramverk för att ersätta termen ?kul? för att i stället på ett vetenskapligt sätt kunna bryta ner vad det är som får spelare att vilja fortsätta spela. Vi har i vår undersökning tittat på orsaken till spelande, för att på så vis undersöka den grundläggande motivationen hos spelare. Undersökningen utforskar inte bara vad som motiverar spelare utan försöker även destillerar den vida använda bransch-termen ?kul? för att kunna ersätta den med termer är baserade på behovstillfredsställande teorier, som istället redogör för varför spelare blir motiverade att fortsätta spela.

I want to investigate different preschool teachers' views of their daily work in terms of the diversity of children and learning, and the methods and strategies of preschool teachers use in their everyday lives, to meet every child's individual needs. I also want to investigate preschool teacher?s perceptions of children's social skills as this is included in the pre-school assignments relating to a favorable social environment for all children.To find this out, I have compiled three issues.What are the views interviewed preschool teachers to learning and different lustful methods that make the educational activities meaningful for all children?? What pedagogical strategies do preschool teachers to respond to the diversity of children?? What opinions have interviewed preschool teachers about children's social interaction with other children in preschool?The conclusion is:all children are different and learn in different ways. Teachers have the responsibility to ensure every child's development and adapt the business to the children's level and needs in a way that could inspire children to learn new skills. It is teachers' responsibility to provide children with good opportunities to express their views and feelings.

The aim of this study was to explore how six men who run a micro-enterprisewith a maximum of 10 employees handle the balance between work and otherlife. Qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews was conducted and thesample consisted of six men with micro-enterprises of varying ages. The themesused in the interviews were boundless work, roles, boundaries strategies anddemand / control - social support. The results showed that micro- entrepreneursdo not experience any major imbalance between work and other life. The studyrevealed that the division of roles in the home of the elderly respondents was ofthe classical gender character that woman took great responsibility in the home.Among the younger respondents the unpaid work at home was equal divided.Social support was perceived highly by all respondents, and they alsoexperienced a high level of control over the requirements of the job.
