I den här uppsatsen undersöks debattartiklar under åren 1997 till 2007 på Dagens Nyheters debattsidor. Intresset ligger vid att undersöka kvalitetsrelaterade skolfrågor och särskilt hurlärarprofessionen deltar i debatten. Som inspiration för behandling av materialet används Pierre Bourdieus ramverk med dess kapital- och fältbegrepp. Resultaten av undersökningen indikerar att lärarna har stort utrymme i debatten. Dessutom hörs statliga politiker i hög grad.Skolverket, akademiker och näringsliv deltar i betydligt mindre omfattning, men befinner sig inte på något sätt på marginalen.

The main purpose of this stydy was to evaluate the Aurora clinic (for women afraid of birth/delivery) in the south of Sweden. Questionnaires were sent to 197 women who had contact with the Aurora clinic during 2007 and 2008. The group of participants contained both pregnant women and women who have given birth. A total of 136 women replied. The results showed that both the average age and the level of education of the women were high.

During the 20th century a significant proportion (about 15 %) of the peat-covered wetlands in Sweden were drained to improve forest productivity. Area wise, most of the forest drainage was done in northern Sweden, but relatively speaking a larger part of the wetlands have been drained in the southern parts of the country. Most often, the forest drainage resulted in increased forest growth, but failures were not unusual, and harmful effects, e.g. on species richness, have been a common cause for draining. The bachelor's thesis is to examine the explanatory factors affecting the choice of capital structure in real estate companies. The analysis is based on data collected from the main financial reporting from 2007; all listed real estate companies listed on Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish stock market. Based on previous research and theories, we have defined five independent variables that are linked to the debt ratio, which are: profitability, growth, firm size, cost of debt and operational risk. The statistical tests have resulted in that we can say with certainty that profitable firms tend to have a lower debt to equity ratio. We can also say with certainty that property companies with high interest costs have a high level of indebtedness..

This paper describes the Swedish reconnaissance squads in the engineer battalions, their equipment, tasks and organization. An analysis is made to compare the present weapons and fire power of the reconnaissance squad with an extended weapon alternative. The analysis focuses on the abilities effect, protection and movement in different situations typical of a reconnaissance squad.The facts that are presented in this paper are mostly founded on the new field manual FältarbR Dyktjänst 2007, which regulates much of the reconnaissance activities. Denna studie har undersökt huruvida det är möjligt att på Nasdaq OMX Stockholm generera systematiska överavkastningar i samband med att aktier börjar handlas exklusive rätt till utdelningar. Samtliga utdelningstillfällen har undersökts under perioden 2007-2011 vilket givit en total observationsmängd på 699 stycken tillfällen. Genom att ha tagit hänsyn till eventuella marknadsfluktueringar och vikta dessa med bolagets unika risk, i form av betatal, har resultaten även justerats för normalavkastningar under den undersökta dagen. Resultaten från Large Cap, Mid Cap samt Small Cap har sedan jämförts. Resultaten visar att överavkastningar är möjliga under dagen då aktien slutar handlas inklusive utdelning, samt att effekten är större för de mindre bolagen..

During year 2007 ClaraHälsan Ltd bought the company health service Solstahälsan in Karlstad. The demands of environmental effects in today?s companies have been increasing more andmore. To be able to withstand customers, cooperatives and government demands the ISO14001 certification should not be neglected.In January 2007 the general management of SAS decided to introduce an environmentalmanagement system for SAS Tech. Syftet med arbetet var att kartlägga samarbetet mellan skolidrotten och föreningsidrotten lokalt i Växjö samt se hur samarbetet utvecklats och vilka möjligheter det ger idrottsundervisningen. Utifrån frågeställningen valdes intervjuer som metod för empiriinsamling och de intervjuade uppgick till åtta idrottslärare som undervisar mot grundskolans senare år och gymnasiet. Det visade sig att det funnits ett samarbete under de år studien omfattar. Det visade sig även i vilken omfattning det skett, på vilket sätt och hur samarbetet utvecklats genom åren. Samarbetet uppfattas på de flesta håll som någonting positivt som både lärare och elever kan dra nytta av.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between Earnings Management (EM) and certain characteristics of management forecasts, among a sample of Swedish listed companies. The forecast characteristics studied are: 1) Forecast venue: How explicitly is the forecast presented? 2) Forecast precision: How detailed is the estimated number? 3) Forecast measure: Which measure(s) are forecasted? We use a sample of 68 annual management forecasts, obtained from year-end reports between the years 2007-2011. EM during the forecasted year (2008-2012) is estimated using the cross-sectional modified-Jones model. The forecast characteristics are then related to the degree of EM during the forecasted period.

För att genomföra en genomförlig analys har även det svenska varumärket i helhet analyserats. Detta för att fastslå om det har någon betydelse för svenska företag. En kvalitativ metod har använts där den primära data blir de genomförda intervjuerna.

The purpose of this paper has been to study and to compare three novels, written by Katarina von Bredow, Syskonkärlek (1991), Som om ingenting (1999) and Som jag vill vara (2007), with focus on the protagonists. The aim was also to map how the novels relate to the contemporary youth novel, the girl book, Chick lit and Chick lit junior. The protagonists were compared on the basis of themes, sow as relationships within the family, boyfriend and friends, as well as identity. The protagonists have in common that the relation with their family members is important. The three protagonists consider that friendship is important.

Syftet med föreliggande uppsats är att, utifrån den kritik som ofta riktas mot lärarutbildningen, undersöka hur lärarutbildningen tar form via hur studenter uppfattar dess innehåll. För att nå syftet har vi valt att dela upp uppsatsen i tre delar. Till att börja med har vi beskrivit de befintliga styrdokumenten för lärarutbildningen samt dess uppkomst. Vidare har vi gjort en kvantitativ enkätundersökning på lärarstudenter som läser Pedagogik med didaktisk inriktning vid Örebro universitet vårterminen 2007. Denna undersökning har vi avslutningsvis satt i relation till de befintliga styrdokumenten.
