ITS och Logistik : SkogsÄkeriernas behov av vÀg- och trafikinformation jÀmfört med VÀgverkets tillhandahÄllna information

Jag har i detta examensarbete analyserat behovet av vÀg- och trafikinformation i samband med skogstransporter och jÀmfört behovet med den information som VÀgverket tillhandahÄller. Arbetet har utförts pÄ uppdrag av VÀgverkets ITS-sektion, den avdelning som ansvarar för VÀgverkets uppdrag att öka anvÀndningen av IT i trafiken. MÄlet med arbetet har varit att undersöka hur vÀg- och trafikinformation kan bidra till bÀttre skogstransporter och bÀttre trafik. Syftet har varit att ta reda pÄ hur en perspektivvÀxling mellan trafik och transport pÄverkar tjÀnsteutvecklingen nÀr det gÀller vÀg- och trafikinformation. De metoder jag har anvÀnt har varit kvalitativa intervjuer, litteratur- och dokumentstudier samt komponenterna problem- och mÄlanalys i metoden FörÀndringsanalys enligt FA/SIMM.

SkÀrgÄrdsliv för rekreation : En undersökning av möjligheterna till vistelse i Stockholms SkÀrgÄrd

AimThe aim of this study has been survey the possibilities for short-term stays in the Stockholm Archipelago for people without their own means of transport, own equipment and/or experience of outdoor life.To fulfil this aim, the following questions were formulated:? What communications are available to chalet parks in the Stockholm Archipelago?? What overnight accommodation is available in the chalet parks in the Stockholm Archipelago?? What activities can be pursued in the Stockholm Archipelago?? What is the financial cost of travelling to and staying in the Stockholm Archipelago for a week?MethodWe chose to use six interviews and three observations in order to gain as much insight as possible. Interviews were conducted with Claes Petterson at Waxholmsbolaget, a company that provides transport services in the Archipelago, and with managers for five chalet parks: Rolf Andersson for Finnhamn, Per Englund for Grinda, Arne Johansson for RÄnö, PÀr HjÀrtström and Peter Hösöyen for GÄlö and Anders Bedinger for GÄlö and NÄttarö. Identifiering och reducering av köer i samband med Äterbesök

Purpose ? The purpose of this thesis is to develop a total cost model for container transports and create a tool that calculates a suitable transport quantity from an economic view, which fulfills the demands on delivery service. To achieve this purpose the following questions will be answered:Which costs are affected by the decision between the two transport alternatives LCL and FCL?   How does the decision of sending product LCL or FCL influence the delivery service?  How can a tool be constructed to simplify the decision-making process regarding the choice of sending products LCL or FCL?  Method ? A total cost model was developed. This model is supported from existing literature.

Analys av interna transporter och buffertlager vid Vest-Wood Sverige AB

Denna rapport Àr resultatet av en analys som gjorts vid Vest-Woods fabrik i Forserum under vÄren 2007 i syfte att reducera interna transporter. Vest-Wood AB i Forserum tillverkar dörrar för den svenska marknaden men förser ocksÄ en annan fabrik (SdrFelding i Danmark) i samma koncern med dörrstommar. Materialhantering för att förse Sdr Felding fabriken med dörrstommar medför i dagslÀget mycket interna transporter i Forserumsfabriken. För att klara ojÀmn efterfrÄgan frÄn Sdr Felding fabriken samt för att kunna jÀmna ut sin egen produktion har Forserumsfabriken valtatt lagerföra de tolv artiklar som bestÀlls mest frekvent frÄn Sdr Felding fabriken. Buffertlagret vid Forserumsfabriken dÀr artiklarna lagerförs Àr placerat ca 200 m frÄn produktionen vilket medför mycket intern transport för hantering av dessa.

En förbÀttrad rullstolsplats pÄ klass 1 bussar : I sammarbete med Benteler Engineering Services

The initiative for this project was taken by Benteler Engineering Services, as a result of having identified areas of improvement, in designated accessible areas like the wheelchair spot onboard buses. Depending on a wheelchair to be able to move around can understandably be challenging.Public transport is a common good in today`s society, however despite the measures taken towards adjusting to accessible needs, the majority of those being disabled chose different alternatives of transportation. This is due to reasons such as the drivers' poor attitude, furthermore the limitations of the space allocated to accessible needs, as people with strollers also use these spots onboard. Also, some wheelchair users find the rides unsafe, as they could easily fall over during without the appropriate space for them onboard the buses etc. These are only a few reasons why other options are sought out, i.e.

Uppdatering av bÄtnadskalkyl med hÀnsyn till nya faktorer :

Sweden have 419 000 km road in the country and about half of these roads is forestroads. The forest road net most important mission is to make it possible to deliver wood from the forest to the industries. With a raw material that is spread over a large area the road network is important. Each year has the forest road network been extended with about 1 700 km new roads. To decide if a new road is to be built different forest road cost estimation models has been used.

Ambulanspersonalens upplevelser av trafiksÀkerheten i vÄrdutrymmet i vÀgburna ambulanser

AmbulanssjukvÄrd bedrivs bÄde pÄ hÀmtplats och under transporten till mottagande enhet. Detta medför att personalen utför vÄrdÄtgÀrder i vÄrdutrymmet under transporten enligt tidigare forskning sker detta ofta utan att personalen anvÀnder sig av bilbÀltet.Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka ambulanspersonalens upplevelser av trafiksÀkerheten i vÀgburna ambulanser.Metoden har varit intervjuer med semistrukturerade frÄgor samt en öppen frÄga. Intervjuerna har genomförts med ambulanspersonalen i deras arbetsmiljö, det vill sÀga ambulansens vÄrdutrymme. Intervjuerna har sammanstÀllts och en innehÄllsanalys har gjorts pÄ den öppna frÄgan.Resultatet visar att personalen inte anvÀnder sÀkerhetsutrustningen i den utstrÀckning som de borde och vill göra. Arbetsmiljön och patientens tillstÄnd var helt avgörande.

SpÄrtrafik i norra Stockholmsregionen

Northeast Stockholm is a region developing fast. There is already a great need for new transport solutions for the people commuting to the city, since long queues slow down car traffic and the local railway, Roslagsbanan, needs to be upgraded to attract more travelers. The competitive advantage of rail?traffic over the car when it comes to greenhouse gases and air pollutants is another reason to develop Roslagsbanan.This report investigates the differences between car and train to create a basis for a proposed expansion of Roslagsbanan. Once the proposal is presented, costs, emissions reductions and public benefits are analyzed.

Miljöarbete inom den civila luftfarten

The main environmental problem for aviation is the great amount of exhaust gases, mainly nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons - mostly "greenhouse gases" leading to climate changes. I decided to sort out what is being done to decrease these problems and what regulations there are concerning air pollution by the means of searching the internet and using publications from aviation authorities for current figures. I chose to scrutinize authorities on political, authority and company level, resulting in summarizing the work of UN and EU respectively, ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization), JAA (Joint Aviation Authorities) and LFV (Swedish Civil Aviation Authority), and finally SAS, representing the airline companies. Conclusion that I have drawn are thatthere are regulations for air pollution, written down in ICAO's Annex 16, that are to be followed. Secondly, LFV are environmentally controlling their nineteen airports and since economy is an important reason for not giving priority to environmental issues in aviation emission charge and noise charge are added to the landing fees.

KartlÀggning av rapporterade olyckor med djurtransporter i dagspress i Sverige

When farm animals are transported there are several factors that can affect their welfare. If the vehicle has an accident the welfare of the animals transported will probably be compromised. The aim of this study was to make a survey of accidents with animal transportation vehicles in Sweden. The survey included the number of accidents from January 2000 to May 2014, the cause of the accidents and how the animal welfare was affected by the accident. The authorities which were likely to have reports about accidents involving animal transports were contacted. There were no collected records about transportation accidents and the authorities referred to eachother for information.

Nitrogen flow in Scania : substance flow analysis on a regional level

In this thesis, the flows of reactive nitrogen (Nr) in Scania were investigated and quantified. The thesis was also intended to form a basis for comparison between the urban nitrogen flow and other flows of nitrogen within Scania. The management of nitrogen in society has disturbed the natural nitrogen cycle. This is linked to a series of environmental problems such as eutrophication, acidification, global warming and smog. The method used was Substance Flow Analysis (SFA) for Nr. For calculation and flow charts Scania was divided into three subsystems; air, water and society.

Logistik för strÄbrÀnsle :

Summary Today energy prices are rising. As a result biomass fuel is getting more and more interesting. Wood chips is very popular, but also straw from grain production is on the table. Lunds Energi AB project a combined power and heating plant in Örtofta out of Lund. Wood chips is meant to be the main energy source, complemented by straw. In this thesis the transportation of straw for fuel is studied.
