Vi vill undersöka vilka tydliga stereotyper vi kan hitta och om det finns ett genomgĂ„ende tema mellan filmerna. Vi kommer avslutningsvis att se det ur ett producentperspektiv och se vad det kan finnas för konsekvenser av filmerna och hur man som producent i framtiden kan hantera dessa. Metod: Vi har med hjĂ€lp av den kvalitativa forskningsmetoden rörlig bildanalys studerat vĂ„ra fem filmer utifrĂ„n ett socialkonstruktionistiskt perspektiv. Teoretiska perspektiv: VĂ„r huvudsakliga teori bestĂ„r av teorier kring genusvetenskap, populĂ€rkultur samt Ă€ven stereotyper pĂ„ film. Empiri: För att besvara frĂ„gestĂ€llningen har vi analyserat filmerna De ofrivilliga, Du & jag, NĂ€r mörkret faller, SĂ„ som i himmelen och Vingar av glas. Resultat: Det vi har kommit fram till efter arbetes slut Ă€r att kvinnor till viss del framstĂ€lls stereotypt och dĂ„ ofta pĂ„ ett negativt sĂ€tt. DĂ€remot finns det undantag, dĂ„ vissa kvinnor startar med att vara svaga under filmens början och utvecklas och vĂ€xer sig sĂ„ pass starka att de orkar bryta sig loss i slutet av historien.

I följande text avser jag att analysera Man of Tai Chi och undersöka förhÄllandet mellan Kina och Hollywood. Kina blir en alltmer viktig marknad för filmbolag frÄn Hollywood och hur de förhÄller sig till varandra pÄ film.Kung fu-filmens spridning har inneburit andra kulturella uttryck, frÄn Bruce Lee som symbol mot imperialistiskt förtryck i tredje vÀrlden, till att bidra med formande av nya bildssprÄk i filmer som The Matrix. Hur kan en transnationell samproduktion mellan kinesiska och vÀsterlÀndska bolag se ut? I följande uppsats undersöker jag produktionsförhÄllanden och mottagande av filmen Man of Tai Chi och i slutsatsen kommer jag fram till att filmen misslyckats ur ett kommersiellt perspektiv..

Med denna uppsats har vi velat kombinera vÄra kunskaper inom filmvetenskapen med vÄra kunskaper i företagsekonomi, dÄ speciellt marknadsföring. Vi delar upp film efter tvÄ olika begrepp, high concept och low concept. KÀrnan i high concept Àr att filmen ska vara sÀljbar och att handlingen ska vara sÄ enkel att den gÄr att beskriva med ett fÄtal ord. AnvÀndandet av kÀnda skÄdespelare samt uppföljare som surfar pÄ tidigare succéer Àr vanliga knep. De storsÀljande Hollywoodfilmerna, Àven kallade Blockbusters, Àr ofta i detta format.

In our attempts to understand the world, wildlife films play a significant role. Wildlife films help us to see new places and learn about animals in remote locations, that we otherwise wouldn?t be able to do. Yet wildlife films have throughout history been criticized, mainly for the ambivalent relationship between science and storytelling. While the films give us a scientific impression and say something about the ?reality?, they clearly have the intension to amuse, capture and entertain their audience.

How is the identity of Swedish diplomats affected by living a very international life, regularly moving from one place to another, while their main task is to represent Sweden at all times? How does the national identity relate to the professional and the international identity and what role does the context play in this process? These are the questions asked in this thesis. By interviewing 39 Swedish diplomats and by comparing the responses of the interviews and the theories applied, this thesis will show that it is the context, rather than the time spent abroad that changes their identities and not the least their perspectives of the world. The theories concern intersectional identities, nationalism, context and globalisation. It is from the point of view that identities are constructed and therefore changeable.The diplomats gain a greater awareness of their Swedish identity, wider and deeper perspectives of what it means to be Swedish, but also the advantages that other cultures have to offer.

Syftet med detta arbete Àr att jÀmföra International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB), med svenska SP och NV program. Detta görs genom att besvara frÄgan hur innehÄllen i matematikkurserna pÄ IB programmet skiljer sig frÄn matematikkurser som ges i de svenska programmen. Inte enbart innehÄllet i kurserna jÀmförs utan Àven timplanen granskas för att undersöka om arbetsbördan i programmen skiljer sig Ät. Den lÀttaste matematikkursen som undervisas i IB programmet, Mathematical Studies Àr mest lik de svenska Matematik A-C kurserna. Den andra IB kursen, Mathematical Methods tÀcker framförallt Matematik A-E kurserna medan den tredje kursen, Mathematics Higher Level stÀmmer bÀst överens med Matematik kurserna A-F och Matematik-diskret.

Det hÀr arbetet utfördes pÄ ABB Corporate Research, och innefattar en studie av motorstyrning i allmÀnhet, och hur man med hjÀlp av en Intelligent Power Module kan effektivisera motorstyrning genom att ersÀtta separata kraft- och styrmoduler med en kombinerad modul. En IPM frÄn International Rectifier har modifierats och testats genom att under en lÀngre tid lÄta den styra en permanentmagnetmotor under normala förhÄllanden. Resultatet frÄn testkörningen visar att en IPM Àr ett bra alternativ i framtiden, sÄvÀl i frÄga om effektivitet, som kostnad och utrymme. Efter en undersökning av marknaden visar det sig att det Àr lÄngt ifrÄn sÀkert att modulen frÄn International Rectifier Àr den bÀsta som finns att tillgÄ, och det skulle förmodligen löna sig att testköra IPM:er av andra tillverkare i mÄn av tid och pengar..

Det Àr svÄrt att veta hur man pÄ snabbast möjliga sÀtt kan skapa 3D datorgrafik till film. Detta arbete handlar om processen (pipeline) för att skapa ett troll i 3D till filmat material med mÄlet att arbeta sÄ tidseffektivt som möjligt utan att försÀmra kvaliteten. Vi utformar en specifik pipeline med hjÀlp av kunskaper frÄn nyckelpersoner i filmindustrin, egna erfarenheter samt en litteraturstudie. Kortfilmen bestÄr av ett 3D troll sammansatt till en minuts filmat material. Kortfilmen förklarar de olika stegen i arbetsprocessen; filmskapandet och vad man ska tÀnka pÄ frÄn idé till slutlig animerad produkt samt val av programvaror..

Over the past twenty years, the cooperation within the European Union (EU) has strengthened and expanded with both more number of Member States and stronger influence on international politics. The unique character of the Union and its ability to enforce peace and humanitarian intervention has attracted attention in political science. This prominent position of the Union is perceived by many scholars who often hold this derived from the Union's influence in international relations. Various terms have been used to define the powers of the Union. The British researcher Ian Manners states that the unique identity of the Union in the international arena is formed by its normative power.  An important policy area within the Union is the environmental cooperation.

International conventions signifies international trade, which in itself would be ineffective if there were no dispute settlement mechanisms. This essay intends to examine how dispute settlement mechanisms between states have developed over the years and a large emphasis is placed on the World Trade Organizations (WTO) Dispute Settlement Body since it?s had great significance for the efficiency of international law. In order to show the need for dispute settlement mechanisms, a background to the conventions that have called for the development of the DSB is in order. This essay focuses on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and the agreement that currently regulate intellectual property rights, Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS), but also its connection to the DSB.

Denna uppsats har skrivits i syfte att undersöka hur Nordisk Film, distributören av Sonys spelprodukter i Sverige, kan anvÀnda sin marknadsföring för att attrahera nya segment av marknaden. Nordisk Film har sedan en tid distribuerat ett flertal spel, som till sin utformning skiljer sig frÄn majoriteten av det befintliga utbudet pÄ tv-spelsmarknaden. Dessa spel riktar sig mot Àldre anvÀndare, varför vi ansett det intressant att studera vilka möjligheter detta leder till ur företagets perspektiv. Detta har gjorts med utgÄngspunkt ur etablerade teorier och tvÄ statistiska undersökningar vilka utformats i bÄde explorativt och deskriptivt syfte. Den första undersökningen utfördes pÄ ett större urval och avsÄg ta reda pÄ generella Äsikter samt kunskap om tv-spel i allmÀnhet och vissa specifika speltitlar i synnerhet.

By analysing Still the water (2014), Radiance (2017) and True Mothers (2020) by Naomi Kawase this essay will look at her work to see how she portrays the experience of being a woman in relation to her community. Looking into her way of using the camera by applying the theory of haptic visuality allows the spectator to identify themselves in a bodily relationship with the image. By using the camera to closely frame objects of importance for the characters, Kawase leads the spectator to understand the world of the film and enables a more profound understanding of their experience. For the community to be of importance for the women it must be founded in the feeling of security and a confirmation of their feelings. The aim of this masterÂŽs thesis is to examine how librarianÂŽs views of the users can vary for different types of materials in public libraries. We have seen that literature and reading are the central parts of the libraries in Sweden. All other types of media are traditionally seen as complements and in focus for the study is feature film as an example of these other medias. We examine policy documents to see the official view of the general target group of the libraries and compare it to the view of the users of feature films as expressed by the librarians. The study includes several different types of empirical materials such as interviews, observations and documents and the method used is case studies.

This essay examines the European Union?s (EU) ability to play a leading role as a global actor on the world stage in international relations. Specifically, this essay studies the EU?s role of negotiator in the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December 2009.  This essay also analyzes explanations for this role. Research is based on case studies, with conclusions drawn using an inductive approach.

This thesis investigates how recipient countries' domestic type of democracy affects its inclusive ownership in international development cooperation. This is done by examining Swedish development cooperation with Rwanda and Tanzania during the period from 2010 to 2014, a time when ownership - a concept which emphasizes recipient countries' leadership over its own development - was a central part of the international development agenda. The two cases were selected through a most similar case design where the value of potential explanatory variables was similar, except for the recipient countries' types of democracy. Furthermore, the case study uses a comparative analysis to analyze strategies and reports done by SIDA and the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Previous research focuses on the exclusion that national ownership can result in, in undemocratic national contexts. The main argument for this should be seen as the fact that ownership can not be representative if the power of the recipient's development agenda is limited to a decision-making elite.
