Ergonomi ur ett hälsoperspektiv - En studie genomförd på en processindustri i södra Sverige
Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka ergonomins och hälsans förutsättningar på en processindustri i Sverige samt att ta fram förslag på förbättringar och ett träningsprogram för personalen på industrin. För att minska risken för belastningsskador är det viktigt att individen arbetar med ergonomiska arbetsställningar. Om arbetsgivaren förser arbetstagaren med så goda förutsättningar som möjligt att tillämpa ergonomiska arbetsställningar samt erbjuda friskvård kan kostnaderna för sjukfrånvaro sänkas betydligt. Metoder som använts är kortare observationer följt av de ergonomiska uträkningarna OWAS och RULA. En interventionsgrupp inom produktionen fick besvara en enkät, som även fylldes i av en kontrollgrupp som bestod av administrationspersonal (kontorspersonal).

This is a report for our thesis that was conducted as a conclusion of our bachelor degree in Business engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). The work is done in cooperation with the firm Navigate Consulting Business Solutions AB.They have their leading expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite and has previously chosen to implement Oracle EBS R12. The modules that are planned to be implemented are general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), project module (PA), purchases, and CRM. For a consulting company like Navigate, it is particularly important to have a simple and effective time reporting process. We were therefore asked to provide new tabs with a decision-making process to determine if Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) is a useful time tracking system for their business.In order to achieve the company´s aim and objective we decided to follow a development method with five different phases.

In this paper I have sought a suitable level of abstraction in my models describing the landscape; the models are made to be viewed from eyelevel. Because of the spectator being ?in the model? the objects included need a certain degree of realism. I have sought what is needed in the model to be able to comprehend that the model is showing a landscape. Some details might be unnecessary.

This thesis deals with the compatibility between analysis software Revit Structure2012 and Robot Structural Analysis 2012. The purpose is to become more aware ofinformation management models to be compatible across different softwareapplications. The structural model is made to be optimal for the compatibility of othersoftware Aim is also to gain an understanding of the transferring methods that exist,and which method is most convenient to use and to examine whether the methodswork in practice. Objective of this project is to make the modeling processtime-efficient for constructors. Models do not need to be structured in severaloccasions in different software; it only needs an optimal model that transfers properlybetween software.The method used in the thesis consist cases where the transferring process isexamined.

In 1886 Hans Hildebrand received a Bronze Age hoard found in a field that belonged to Eskelhem´s rectory. A record was made where Hildebrand presented and documented the artifacts. The following year Oscar Montelius reviewed the artifacts, which he described as horse gears. He compared the horse gears with similar artifacts found in Europe that roughly had the same dating in order to trace the origin of the hoard. Montelius conclusion was that the hoard was created on Gotland around 500 BC.

By applying a segmentation procedure to two different sets of computed tomography scans, two geometrical models of the abdominal aorta, containing one inlet and two outlets have been constructed. One of these depicts a healthy blood vessel while the other displays one afflicted with a Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm. After inputting these geometries into the computational dynamics software FLUENT, six simulations of laminar, stationary flow of a fluid that was assumed to be Newtonian were performed. The mass flow rate across the model outlet boundaries was varied for the different simulations to produce a basis for a parameter analysis study. The segmentation data was also used as input data to a surface description procedure which produced not only the surface itself, but also the first and second directional derivatives in every one of its defining spatial data points.

When constructing a building, a number of aspects must be harmonized in order for it to fulfill requirements ? a building must fulfill requirements such a load-bearing, conservation of energy and a good indoor environment by means of, among other things, moisture proofing .Moisture problems in buildings can affect health negatively. As we are increasingly staying in indoors, demands on a good indoor environment are higher.This work starts with examining moisture problems in slab-on-ground solutions, and then links the various scenarios to moisture problems in a concrete slab of a real building. The building with moisture problems is located in Årby by in Borlänge and moisture damage was found in the slab at an apartment adjoining wall.By reviewing literature written within the field of moisture problem, making hand calculations and modeling in the program Comsol Multiphysics, judgments are made to find explanations as to why the rise of moisture occurred in the building in Årby by.Generally, the following guidelines may be used to reduce the risk of moisture problems in slab-on-ground constructions:Drying of construction moisture before laying the floor material.Using draining layer beneath the slab, to prevent capillary suction.Using insulation under the slab, partly for comfort and to establish the temperature difference between the ground and the concrete slab.Avoid direct contact between the wood and concrete, due to degradation and fouling smells that normally occurs.If necessary, use additional vapor barrier.In addition to the above, there are various methods for moisture-proof and moisture-monitoring by design or by the method ByggaF suited for the entire construction process various events..
Språket i matematikens textuppgifter : En litteraturstudie om svårigheter i textuppgifter och undervisningsstrategier som kan underlätta förståelsen för elever i årskurs 1-3
Elever arbetar ofta med textuppgifter när de arbetar med matematisk problemlösning och förståelsen av textuppgifter kan vara problematisk för många elever. Som lärare är det viktigt att veta vad som är svårt och vad som kan underlätta förståelsen för elever. I denna litteraturstudie undersöks vilka språkliga aspekter som kan försvåra för elever i årskurs 1-3 när de läser matematiska textuppgifter samt vilka undervisningsstrategier som kan underlätta förståelsen. Studier på svenska och engelska från år 2000-2014 togs fram genom en systematisk sökning i databaserna LIBRIS och ERIC. Resultatet visar att begrepp, symboler och siffersymboler kan försvåra förståelsen.
Effektivare beställningsflöde mellan kommunala verksamheter : En fallstudie på LKDATA i Linköping
Syftet med den här studien har varit att undersöka hur kartläggning av ett processflöde kan leda till förslag på effektivisering. Studien är gjord på uppdrag av företaget LKDATA i Linköping som ansvarar för bland annat Linköpings kommuns IT-system. Studien behandlar beställningsprocessen av datakommunikation mellan kommunala verksamheter och LKDATA. En nulägesanalys gjordes för att skapa en förståelse för hur processen ser ut och för att identifiera vilka problem som finns. En kvalitativ metod valdes för insamling av data.
Resultat av tjugofem års mätningar av Cs-137-halter i älg i Uppsala län
At the end of April 1986 reactor number 4 of the nuclear power plant at Chernobyl explod-ed and large amounts of radioactive particles were then released into the atmosphere due to both the explosion as well as the consecutive fire of the graphite core. A cloud of radioac-tivity was spread over the northern hemisphere, including Sweden, due to the prevailing wind directions. The radioactive particles were washed out from the cloud by rain and snowfall in some areas of Sweden and deposited on the ground. The deposited radionu-clides, primarily cesium and iodine isotopes, were later absorbed into the soil and taken up by the roots of the plants. Some of these radionuclides, like 137Cs, still persist in some of the terrestrial ecosystems at relatively high concentrations which lead to contamination of the meat of moose, roe deer and wild boar even today.The two municipalities Heby and Uppsala, in the eastern part of central Sweden, experi-enced a relatively large deposition of 137Cs which resulted in high levels of 137Cs in moose and other game.

Identifiering av områden med risk för fosforförluster genom ytavrinning : metodutveckling med GIS
The eutrophication of lakes and seas with the algal bloom and deficiency inoxygen that follow, has been given priority by the Swedish government as oneof 16 environmental objectives. The purpose of this project was to develop a toolbased on a simple model, limited amount of data and geographic informationsystem (GIS) to identify areas with risk for phosphorus losses due to surfacerunoff. This tool can act as a decision support to decide where appropriatemeasures should be applied with the aim of reducing phosphorus losses and bythat the eutrophication.The method that has been used is a combination of two models, one calculatingthe potential erosion while the other one identifies areas of erosion (net erosion)or deposition. This ability is of great importance because potential erosionshould be calculated on areas with net erosion. Areas with high potential erosionhave an increased risk for phosphorus losses due to surface runoff.The potential erosion was calculated based on factors which describe how topography(LS), land use (C), soil type (K) and precipitation (R) effect the erosion.All of them have been modified to a greater or lesser extent.
Optimering av ett småskaligtvattenkraftsystem
This master thesis covers the seasonal planning of a small scale hydropower system. The system in this study is owned and operated by Mälarenergi Vattenkraft AB. The total system consists of 4 different main rivers with 24 hydropower stations and several dams. The total installed power in the system is 43.75 MW. Most of the hydropower stations are regarded as small scale hydropower stations and thus entitled to green certificates.In this report the issue of planning is formulated as an optimization problem.
Energianalys av Svensk Växtkrafts biogasanläggning i Västerås
Svensk Växtkraft is the owner of the biogas plant in Västerås. The company is planning to increase
their treatment capacity at their biogas plant. In connection to this work it is also possible to make
some energy saving changes to the biogas plant. The objective of this study was therefore to make
an electricity and heat survey of the biogas plant, a detailed study of the heat consumption in the
sanitation step and also a comparison of energy consumption with the present sanitation method
and an alternative strategy where the waste is treated in 55 °C during 10 hours (the current method
is heating to 70 °C during 1 hour).
The energy survey was conducted in close collaboration with staff at the biogas plant. The current
during normal operation was measured, power was calculated and multiplied by the time of usage to
obtain the energy consumed.
