Att åldras kan innebära stora genomgripande förändringar i den äldre personens liv. Som sjuksköterska i hemsjukvård är erfarenheten att det behövs ökade kunskaper om hur den äldre klarar av åldrandet. Syftet med litteraturöversikten var att belysa äldre personers copingstrategier för att klara av åldrandet. Sökningar via databaserna resulterade i 11 artiklar med kvalitativ design som analyserats med fokus på syftet. Den kvalitativa analysen av artiklarna resulterade i flera copingstrategier vilka bildade ett huvudtema, Att skapa ny tillvaro och sex underteman, Att acceptera nya förhållanden, Att tänka positivt och kämpa, Att resignera inför omständigheterna, Att ta hjälp av andra, Att ha struktur i tillvaron samt Att hålla igång och använda tekniska lösningar.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate what Functions the public library has for parents of small children. If and how they make use of the library and what their opinion is about it. The research questions are: Which Functions does the public library have for parents of small children? How do parents of small children use the library and what opinion do they have about it? Which factors have an impact on the parents of small children and how do they influence their use of and opinion about the public library and the Functions of the library? The theoretical approach is based on Henrik Jochumsen and Casper Hvenegaard Rasmussen?s model of the social room and the lifestyles and Marianne Andersson and Dorte Skot-Hansen?s model of the public library?s Functions. To answer our research questions we have made seven qualitative interviews with parents of small children.

The purpose of this report was to study how the Swedish radio channel Sveriges Radio (SR) website changed over time. What are the differences between various media websites? How many people listen to normal and web-radio and what are the differences between the various services offered on the SR website?Reports from the BBC, Statistics Sweden, Mediavision and the Swedish National Post and Telecom Agency were compared. Several theoreticians have been studied, including Donald A Norman, Jonas Löwgren, Karen Holtzbratt, Jacob Nielsen and Geoffrey Moore.The method used by the author comprised a systematic mapping of statistics from webTrends, KiaIndex, SiteCensus, TNS Gallup/K2analys and reports from RUAB. The data studied have been collected from telephone interviews, postal surveys, internet panels, and from log files.

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to examine how some larger Swedish public libraries reason about the use of social media as part of their activities and outreach. To attain the purpose three research-questions were established; why does the public library use social media? How does the public library utilize social media? What extra value do librarians believe that use of social media can add to the libraries? Function? The methodology used in the thesis is qualitative interviews. Six interviews were conducted with librarians in charge of social media at their respective libraries. Five of the interviews were conducted by telephone and one by email.

Simulation is a vital tool during development of JAS 39 Gripen, since money and time can be saved.The Auxiliary and Emergency Power System, AEPS, is a subsystem of the secondary power system in Gripen. The purpose of this study is to illustrate teacher humor by critically examining it from an interpersonal- and humor communicative-perspective; and to discuss teacher interpersonal humor communication-skills in relation to the Swedish high school curriculum, collegial relationships and pedagogical aspects. The study?s empiric material consists of semi-structured interviews with six high school-teachers currently working at the same school, but of different age and gender. The interviews indicate that the informants all have developed humor competence, an interpersonal communicative-skill that allows them to use humor efficiently. Moreover, the result demonstrates that the teachers have various humor approaches but that they all use humor in the classroom for much of the same reasons.

This is a qualitative study of high school students? definition of their conception of a ?good? teacher. Its purpose is to provide increased insight for teachers about students? ideas of the phenomenon. The study is based on the reports of six respondents, which was later analysed according to the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis method (IPA).

This paper deals with the legal situation surrounding the legal statutory portion. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the statutory portions Function in our society, does the rule fit into today?s society? To carry out this study, the authors analyzed the legal situation accordingly to the legal dogmatic method. This master thesis in library- and information science is about the intermediary Function of the library room from an environment-psychological point of view. Young people are a group in society who often reduce their visits to the library when growing up. There are lots of reasons for this maybe more attractive activities occur outside the library doors, making the young choose not to use the library. But if the library interior is attractive in itself, and has a welcoming atmosphere, there might be a change and the young people may well choose to pay the library a visit. What is important to young people how do they want their library room to look? Our purpose is to see how the physical environment affects young people in libraries.

This will be done by presenting WeSC's key values and investigate whether these are portrayed by the representation of the activists in market campaigns and personal interviews.Material/Method: We have conducted a qualititave study where we interviewed three WeActivists of various age and profession. Furthermore we did a semiotic analysis of 10 images from 7 advertising campaigns.Main results: Our results indicate that WeActivists play a significant role in WeSC?s external communication, and thus signifying that they play a major part in creating WeSC's brand identity.

A fauna passage is a way for animals to cross roads separated from the traffic. In Sweden, there are an unknown number of passages with different Functions and appearances.
