In a time of fierce global competition, where an immense amount of commercial messages reaches consumers around the clock and in every conceivable context, companies constantly seek to find new ways to reach out with their product. One way to do so, that has increased in popularity in recent years, is the use of gift bags. A gift bag may contain samples, miniature products and even products in full size, as a rule from several different brands, which the recipient receives free of charge. The gift bag is typically distributed at some form of event, such as store openings, fashion shows, theme parties and the like, and the receiver of the gift bag can then evaluate the content without any obligation to purchase. The ambition of the companies that choose to participate with their products in a gift bag is, of course, that the recipient will find their products satisfactory, and ideally, that he or she will continue to consume the brand in the future.There are numerous scientific research contributions related to the use of free samples, but very few that concern the gift bag, where a collection of samples from different sources and brands appear.

En minskad herbicidanvändning är önskvärt ur flera aspekter. Bäst effekt på plantan ska fås från appliceringen om denna är i aktiv tillväxt. För att herbicider ska kunna användas framgångsrikt så är en avstannad tillväxt en förutsättning för en lyckad bekämpning. I arbetet har en frågeställning varit om det går att avgöra om växter avstannat i tillväxt, genom att utvärdera en växtfysiologisk metod. I experimentet har mätning av växtens fotosynteskapacitet, som kan mätas med klorofyllfluorescens valts som metod.

Huruvida deltagarnas tilltro till att prestera sitt yttersta i en 90 min fotbollsmatch påverkas efter testerna samt att beskriva obehag och smärta efter testerna för spelare som varit skadad eller inte under senaste sex månaderna.Metod: 22 fotbollsspelare fick skatta sin tilltro till sin egen förmåga att prestera sitt yttersta i en 90 min fotbollsmatch samt skatta obehag och smärta med VAS i samband med testerna. Hamstring Outcome Score användes för att få en helhetssyn av deltagarnas funktion och skadehistoria kring hamstring. Spearman?s rho och Wilcoxon?s teckenrang test användes för att analysera resultatet.Resultat: Korrelationen mellan Asklings hamstring test och Nordic hamstring strength test var moderat (0,4-0,6) dock signifikant på <0,05.

ABSTRACTIntroduction: An increasing number of patients in Sweden receive epidural anaesthesia (EDA) in connection to surgery. Caring for patients with acute pain is a responsibility that is strongly established within the profession of the nurse anaesthetist. If the care provided by the nurse anaesthetist for patients who receive epidural anaesthesia is to evolve then further insight and knowledge is required regarding the individual´s experience.Aim: To describe patients' experiences in receiving epidural anaesthesia based on an earlier perioperative start-up of the EDA.Method: Based on a qualitative approach, the aim is to conduct semi-structured interviews with patients who receive EDA in connection to abdominal or gynaecological surgery. Research subjects' statements in the context of the interviews will be transcribed and then analysed using qualitative content analysis. In order to evaluate the chosen method regarding data collection and analysis model an exploratory pilot study was conducted.

Throughout many years there have been discussions within the European Union (EU) regarding harmonization and improvement of accounting rules for companies with listed shares or other securities. The ambition exists to adopt, the within the union applied accounting standards, to those applied globally. These discussions lead the year 2002 to adoption by the council and parliament of international accounting standards (IFRS). The ordinance meant that all listed European companies have to adopt international accounting standards, accepted for application within the EU, for their consolidated accounts.During July 2003 the Swedish Government Official Reports issued a report (SOU 2003:71) stating, among other things, the differences and oppositions of implementing IFRS on a corporate level in Sweden, since corporate disclosure is regulated in Swedish law by Bokföringslagen (BFL) and Årsredovisningslagen (ÅRL). One of the main obstacles for the full implementation of IFRS is that a company?s annual report underlies the governmental taxation and an implementation of IFRS would affect this balance.

Background:Existential and spiritual thoughts are a big part of pallative care. The terms existential and spiritual can be understood in many different ways. It may mean thoughts about faith or thoughts concerning life and death. The nurse in palliative care need to have good communication skills, be responsible and be present and supportive in meeting with the patient.Aim:To describe the nurse's experiences of meeting patients' existential and spiritual thoughts in palliative care.Methods:A literature review based on 10 scientific studies have been done. The studies have been downloaded from the following scientific databases; Academic Search preimer, CINAHL Plus with   Full Text, and PubMed.

This degree project illustrates newsprint and waterless offset. A new news press was introduced at Drupa-00, Cortina from KBA, which is the first news press dedicated the waterless technique. With actual statistics from the company in question an investigation was made whether their production fits this press. It came out in the investigation that the production of the company, from statistics, fits this press very good. A table was made where different timeschedules were accounted for the new press, with semi- and full automatic plate changing for present and to be added papers.

Medier som TV och Internet finns tillgängligt på flera områden omkring oss, vilket gör att det blir svårt att undgå dem. Eftersom TV-tittande har blivit en del av vårt vardagsliv kan den bestämma en hel del över hur vårt liv ser ut och man kanske kan säga att ?vi är vad vi tittar på?.Syftet med vårt arbete är att studera barnens förhållande till TV och Internet, som i sin tur förhoppningsvis ska ge oss en inblick i hur de ser på sig själva, dels som barn, men också som blivande tonåringar. Av den anledningen har de tilldelats begreppet Tweeners. Problemformuleringen som vi här kommer att utgå ifrån är: Varför spelar TV och Internet en så stor del i de unga människornas liv? Hur hjälper medierna till att forma deras identitet?Metoden som vi har använt oss av var den kvalitativa, eftersom vårt syfte var att få förståelse för barnens förhållande till TV och Internet.

För att anpassa samhället till en koldioxidsnål ekonomi är det viktigt att tillgängliga förnyelsebara och utsläppsfria energikällor utnyttjas till full kapacitet. Vattenkraften spelar i denna mening en viktig roll eftersom befintlig teknologi är välutvecklad och tillgänglig. Enligt uppskattningar av branschexperter har den småskaliga vattenkraften en utbyggnadspotential som nästan motsvarar en dubblering av dagens volym, med hänsyn till gällande regelverk. Denna studie har som mål att utreda lönsamheten samt de ekonomiska riskerna vid etablering av småskalig vattenkraft vid befintliga dammbyggnader.Utredningen består av att tillämpa en teknisk och en ekonomisk modell på en fallstudie som agerar som basscenario. Parametrarna i indata känslighetsanalyseras sedan för att ge mer generell insikt i investeringsutsikterna.

Aim: The purpose with this study was to examine if there is burnout or symptoms of burnout among Swedish alpine coaches. The study would also investigate if the place of work have any meaning of developing burnout symptom or to become burnout. How the coaches think that their working situation could be any better is also going to be lightened.Method: The participants in this study were all full time paid alpine coaches in Sweden. Total amount of participator was 28. 13 of them worked on ski gymnasium, 4 worked on ski collage and 11 worked in SSF (Swedish Ski Federation).

The purpose of this essay has been to study the comprehensibility and the plainness of chapter 1 and 2 in ?Läroplan, examensmål och gymnasiegemensamma ämnen för gymnasieskola 2011? that is one of the governing documents of Swedish upper secondary school. The Swedish government approved a national language policy in 2005 which involved an aim that the official Swedish language would be refined, easy and comprehensible. Plain language has since the eighties had a prominent place in Swedish research and science and is now a thought-out principle at almost every public authority. This essay has performed a linguistic text analysis, a plain language analysis, a plain language test and a critical discourse analysis on the two chapters from ?Läroplan, examensmål och gymnasiegemensamma ämnen för gymnasieskola 2011? that is common for all upper secondary school programs.
