There is an ongoing evolution in scholarly communication. The traditional way of communicating scholarly results through scientific journals is beginning to be replaced by other means of dissemination. One new channel for scholars to communicate their results is digital publication in so-called open archives. An open archive is a kind of full text database, where a scholar may archive/publish his or her articles, as a complement or a substitute to publishing in scientific journals. There are discipline-oriented archives and institutional archives.

This report represents a comparison between two different tools used to create an online store that was developed by two students at the Technical University in Jönköping. The web shop will be of great benefit to both customers and administrator in a food firm known as Mattias' Livs. The company wanted an online store that facilitates the sale section and gives a full control of their stocks. The aim of this thesis is to create an online store that offers customers the ability to shop online and help the staff to operate the company in a simpler and more efficient way, which reduces the need for human resources and thus leads to less costs for the company. The aim also includes a comparison between the two different tools used to create the online store.

Om tillståndet uppmärksammas i tid och patienten får hjälp att tömma urinblåsan kan permanenta skador av den övertänjda urinblåsan undvikas. De rutiner som idag finns för att motverka stora postoperativa blåsvolymer följs inte alltid. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka förekomsten av urinretention hos nyopererade patienter utan kvarliggande kateter (KAD) i postoperativ vård. Studien avsåg även undersöka om något samband kunde påvisas till tidigare påvisade riskfaktorer såsom ålder, kön, tidigare miktionsproblem, fyllnadskänsla, operationstid och operationstyp.

Abstract Background: Type 1 diabetes is a chronic disease that worldwide greatly increases among children and adolescents. Major demands are required from the individual who has this disease, which also requires significant knowledge from the nurses so they can be able to develop and create individual conditions for children and adolescents. Thus, the children and the adolescents can be able to take responsibility and feel secure in their own care. The nurse's techniques and specific tools in this work are however not particularly noteworthy and therefore needs to be advised.Aim: The aim of this study was to describe the experiences nurses have of supporting adolescents, between 12-18 years, with type 1 diabetes to an increased understanding of the disease and also to examine the methodological aspect data collection in the articles of this study. I denna kvalitativa studie har vi undersökt föreställningar och fördomar kopplade till våldtäkt. Syftet var att synliggöra våldtäktsmyter som finns i samhället och undersöka hur dessa kan komma att påverka tjejer som själva varit utsatta för våldtäkt. Studiens frågeställningar är: ?Hur påverkar våldtäktsmyter hur den utsatte ser på sig själv och händelsen efteråt?? samt ?Hur påverkar våldtäktsmyter det bemötande den utsatte får efteråt, både från professionella och från närstående/anhöriga??. För att besvara dessa frågeställningar har vi genomfört sex stycken semistrukturerade intervjuer med våldtäktsutsatta tjejer.

Mervärdesskatten på restaurang- och cateringtjänster sänktes från 25 procent till 12 procent den 1 januari 2012. Sänkningen var en del i den sittande regeringens övergripande mål om en högre varaktig sysselsättning.De flesta utvärderingar på sänkt mervärdesskatt har fokuserat på effekter i konsumentpriser. De utvärderingar som genomförts pekar alla på att övervältringen i konsumentpris har varit relativt låg, varför mervärdesskattesänkningar sällan verkar komma konsumenten till godo.En sänkt mervärdesskat, som inte resulterar i ett fullt prisgenomslag på konsumentpriser, skapar ett ekonomiskt utrymme för de företag som blir träffade av reformen. Det utrymme som skapas har företagen full dispositionsrätt över, varför en utvärdering på endast konsumentpris är allt för begränsad och riskerar att inte fullständigt fånga reformens effekter. Denna utvärdering utökas till att omfatta effekter på sysselsättning, omsättning, produktionskostnader och investeringar.Då den här typen av reform är svårutvärderad i sin natur, på grund av bristen på kontrafaktiska utfall, tar studien fasta på att det finns gränsregioner i Sverige som är utsatta för internationell konkurrens, vilket gör det möjligt att förhålla sig till effekter utöver ett före- efterperspektiv.

A tool used to accomplish this is the Lean management system. Lean comes from the production system that Toyota has been developing since the early 1900's, The Toyota Production System (TPS). The Lean philosophy helps companies, by working towards continuous improvement in its operations, to achieve higher customer satisfaction, more efficient production and ultimately higher profitability. To reduce costs and increase accessibility Holmen Skog decided to install and test a CTI-system. Central tire inflation (CTI) is a system that makes it possible to monitor and vary a vehicle?s tire inflation pressures from the cabin, while the vehicle is in motion. When tire pressures are reduced, the area of the contact surface between the tire and the road increases, thus reducing the ground pressure. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the CTI-equipped vehicle and analyze if the CTI technology is economical defensible during the thaw 2005.

The municipal forests of Sala cover an area of 6 000 hectares, starting in the vicinity of the city and reaching north. At the same time as residents make abundant use of the areas closest to the community for outdoor activities and recreational purposes, the forest is of great economic value and also worth protecting for environmental reasons. These conditions make forestry in periurban woods more complex than conventional forestry, why a good understanding of the needs and demands on the forest and silviculture program is required. The purpose of this study is to depict the usage of the forests owned by the municipality of Sala, to set forth the common view of the silviculture program implemented by the municipality and to chart the expectations the community has on the forests and forestry of the future in the municipality of Sala. The survey part of this paper consists of the interviews of thirteen individuals representing nine interest groups. As expected the views of these individuals varied widely but some results were expressed by more or less all of them.

Background:Existential and spiritual thoughts are a big part of pallative care. The terms existential and spiritual can be understood in many different ways. It may mean thoughts about faith or thoughts concerning life and death. The nurse in palliative care need to have good communication skills, be responsible and be present and supportive in meeting with the patient.Aim:To describe the nurse's experiences of meeting patients' existential and spiritual thoughts in palliative care.Methods:A literature review based on 10 scientific studies have been done.
