Detta Examensarbete är utfört på pappersbruket Wargön, Holmen Paper AB. Wargön säljer sitt papper genom sina tre varumärken och varje varumärke har tre gramvikter. De mesta av papperet säljs i rullform men en del säljs i färdigklippta ark. Wargön vill kunna erbjuda sina kunder specifika pappersformat på arken vilket medför att pappersformaten kan variera. Den verkliga ledtiden är längre än vad kunden accepterar och därför behövs en buffert.

The interest in horses and equestrian sport is constantly increasing, and so is the will in both riders and trainers to learn more about the effect the rider and its equipment have on the horse. The last twenty years, more and more studies have been performed were the horse and its kinematics have been in focus. The access to more advanced technology has made it possible to study areas, which earlier have been hard to reach. The knowledge about kinematics in the horse, and how riders and their equipment interact with the horse?s movement, is also of great interest to veterinarians in equine practice.

Today we live in an interconnected world. Through globalization and the development of information technology one can say that, today everyone is our neighbour. The result of our actions can easily spread and affect people on the other side of the world within seconds.Meanwhile, Third World countries are developing into stable economies and Western European corporations are expanding like never before and setting up their organizations in these new markets.This of course is not unproblematic, it creates new challenges for international organizations especially when it comes to communication. An example of that same problematic communication presented itself for Arla Foods in what came to be called the Cartoon Crisis.In late September of 2005 a number of cartoons depicting the holy prophet Muhammed were published in a Danish newspaper. This event sparked scores of protest ranging from Morocco to the Philippines.

Time studies in dairy production are an essential tool when deciding about level of mechanisation and automatisation both in investment situation and improving efficiency in existing operations. In previous investigations such studies have been carried out during normal barn conditions during winter. Since there is a compulsory to have dairy cows grazing 3 to 5 months during summer time in Sweden time studies during this season is important to have a full picture of needed working time. During grazing season time studies was carried out at 14 dairy farms representing herd sizes from 66 to 450 dairy cows of which 6 farms with AMS. 8 farms were the same as studied during winter season.

There's no doubt today that mankind has contributed to the changing climate byher use of fossil fuels. This must change in the nearby future. The Europeanleaders are expressing concern that renewable energy sources are not beingused to their full potential. Bakgrund Den äldre befolkningen lever allt längre och den kroniska sjukdomen diabetes typ 2 blir allt mer förekommande.Behandlingen av diabetes typ 2 består till stor del av råd om livsstilsförändringar som fysisk aktivitet och rekommendationer om kostvanor i kombination med perorala läkemedel och i vissa fall injektioner med insulin. Samtidigt som den äldre personen har diabetes typ 2 kan individen även ha andra sjukdomar, detta ställer höga krav på den enskilda individen och dialogen mellan sjuksköterskan och patienten. Vården bör därför öka sin förståelse för äldre personers upplevelser av att leva med diabetes typ 2Syfte Att belysa äldre personers upplevelser av att leva med diabetes typ 2Metod Litteraturstudien är grundad på tio kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar. Artiklarna söktes och valdes från databaserna Pub Med, CINAHL plus with full text samt SWE PubResultat Äldre personers upplevelser presenteras i två huvudteman med respektive subteman. Att som äldre leva med diabetes: upplevdes på olika sätt i kroppen från person till person.

The cost of transportation has strongly increased in the recent years, transportations which are a major part for the construction companies. Skanska Asphalt which is a part of Skanska Sverige AB has noticed that there are significant cost savings to be made with the purchasing of transports. The transports in this case is about asphalt, where the costs are about 10% of the outsourcing business turnover. The purpose of this thesis is to study the working practice that Skanska Asphalt are using today in controlling and time-writing, for the asphalt transportations. Resulting in recommendations on how to improve the working practice at Skanska Asphalt.This study was conducted with the help of a number of interviews with Skanska?s employees and with suppliers of transportation to describe the practices which are being used in during the asphalt transportation.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att bidra till forskingen om konsumenters beteende kring varumärken. Det bidrag som denna uppsats ger till tidigare forskning är att den identifierar ett samband mellan konsumentens behov av varumärken (Need for Brand, NFB), varumärkesupplevelse (Brand Experience) och varumärkstillknytning (Brand Attachment). Detta sätts även i relation till varumärkeseffekter som tillfredställelse (Brand Satisfaction), lojalitet (Brand Loyalty) och viljan att betala ett premium pris för varumärken (Premium Price). Genom att kartlägga sambandet mellan dessa tidigare utforskade variabler skänker denna uppsats ett större djup till tidigare varumärkesforskning.NFB är ett område som det idag finns begränsade forskning om. Genom att belysa NFB i relation till de andra variablerna, lyfter uppsatsen konsumentens perspektiv i sammanhanget samtidigt som den betonar vikten för att företag också tar hänsyn till konsumentens behov.

This is a thesis about design of young stands of trees. A big source of inspiration has been Västerskog and Tor Nitzelius Park in Alnarp which both consists of a structure of squares. I wanted to examine if this type of planting could be valuable from an aesthetic and recreational point of view. One problem today is that many people believe that we have to wait for decades for a planting to grow up so that we can enjoy the ?ready result?.

This master thesis in energy optimization was made during the autumn of 2006 at Käppala wastewater treatment plant in Lidingö, Stockholm. A preceding thesis, where all electricity consumption was mapped, showed that the aeration in the biological treatment is the single largest consumer in the plant, and it is therefore of interest to reduce this cost. The oxygen control strategy used at Käppala WWTP is working well from a nutrient removal point of view, but not from an economic one. The last aerobic zones have a very low oxygen consumption during low loading periods which give rise to enhanced dissolved oxygen concentrations with excessive costs and reduced denitrification as a result. But also during periods of normal loading unnecessary high oxygen concentration are sometimes given.By modifying the aeration control strategy three full-scale experiments have been made, with the intention to reduce the air consumption.

Creditors are affected by this as they may receive a less trustworthy base to make a good credit review if many companies choose to proceed their accountings without the control of an auditor. Creditors have the option to require that companies are to be reviewed by auditors, while authorized accounting consultants may be a possible substitute as a quality control for the accountings.Purpose:The purpose of this thesis is to examine what impact optional audit has had in credit processes so far and look into alternative forms of reviews for businesses.Problem definition:? During the 19-century a global warming has been observed, which includes increases in global air and ocean temperatures, widespread melting of ice and snow, and rising global sea level. There is a clear connection between emissions of greenhouse gases caused by the human and the increase in temperature. Climatic changes caused by global warming can be stopped trough decreased emission of fossil fuels, for example by an increased use of biogas. Biogas is a renewable energy source which is produced through anaerobic (oxygen free) digestion of organic material. The gas is a mixture of methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) and can be among others used as fuel in vehicles.
