The purpose of this thesis is to identify the most important establishment criteria for companies whointend to do a new establishment. There are differences between regions regarding attraction on startup.Some regions have few new businesses while others continuously expanded its activities in variousfields. The biggest focus on the thesis is the Gävle- Borlänge region where MellansvenskaHandelskammaren is active.Mellansvenska Handelskammaren saw a need for the assignment after the magazine ?IntelligentLogistik? ranked the Gävle region at 15:th place and Falun/Borlänge at 20:th place in the list over thetop 25 best logistics locations in Sweden. This made them wonder what could be made to develop intoa better area with more amenities and a better place in the ranking of the magazine.

Our angle is to look at the changes to see if the tabloidization, commercialization, andmarketization having a bigger impact on our media landscape, and media content, in current yearscompared to earlier years.We have used both Swedish and international studies and theories. When it comes tocommercialization we have mainly focused on studies by Ingela Wadbring, and Sigurd Allern. Wehave used Sigurd Allern?s, Ingela Wadbring?s and Josefine Sternvik's theories on tabloidization.We?ve also include Marina Ghersetti?s theories about sensational journalism, personalization andnews values.

 Föreliggande uppsats är en kvalitativ studie beträffande Region Hallands förändrade förhållningssätt till arbetsmiljö och företagshälsovård i Region Halland med Avdelningen för arbetsmiljö i fokus. Vi fann det intressant att finna ut vilka möjligheter och vilka risker det fanns med detta förändrade förhållningssätt, samt vad fenomenet tillit hade för påverkan i förändringen. Syfte med studien var att utifrån respondenternas berättelser, skildra deras upplevelser beträffande det förändrade förhållningssättet gentemot arbetsmiljö och företagshälsovård inom Region Halland. Det är utifrån respondenternas syn på arbetsmiljö i allmänhet och Avdelningen för arbetsmiljö i synnerhet tillsammans med teorier och de centrala begreppen strategi, ledarskap och tillit som vi har analyserat och tolkat respondenternas upplevelser och därmed skapat en förståelse. Studien genomfördes med kvalitativ metod där data samlades in genom primära källdokument, information från Region Hallands hemsida samt sju genomförda kvalitativa intervjuer med förvaltningschefer, personalchefer och fackliga företrädare.

Gastric ulcer is a common disease among pigs in the whole world where an intensiveproduction occurs. It is mainly the upper region, the nonglandular region of the stomach thatis affected. Gastric ulceration is a disease with several risk factors. The factor that seems tohave the largest impact on the development of gastric ulceration is a small particle size of thefeed. The reported prevalence of gastric ulceration differs from 5 to 100 % and it is a largeherd-to-herd variation.

Recent years there has been discussed how the critical situation in the housing market threatens the Stockholm region's growth. The thesis objective is to examine whether there is a scientific link between the lack of housing supply and growth. The thesis also intends to identify solutions for increased housing construction, for instance by examining the conditions for a greater regional perspective and influence on the region's housing supply. The thesis empirical study is based on semi-structured interviews with representatives from the Government, municipalities and the housing industry.In Sweden, research on the relationship between housing shortages and growth has not been conducted to that extent it can be said to exist scientific evidence regarding the growth threat. However, in Britain and the U.S, empirical studies show that a lack of housing supply has hindered growth through negative impact on countries' gross domestic product.

The aim was to explore how the first page of a student newspaper has been changed over time since it was founded in the 1960´s.This thesis explores how the front page of the student newspaper Lösnummer has been changed since it was founded in 1966. It concerns the location and frequency of elements and it is based on theories of layout, the first page and visual communicationIn addition, the thesis develops a new kind of method for determining the location of elements on the type area. The method is based on the hexadecimal number system. It is formed as a grid which is placed on the first page to determine the location of the elements.It concludes that the frequency of elements had its peak during the 1970´s and has ever since decreased gradually. Image placement has gone from being scattered all over the front page to be centered and increase in size. .

The demand for biogas as vehicle fuel has risen sharply and there is a great need for increased production. A possible addition of vehicle gas can be produced by upgrading landfill gas which is formed by degradation of organic waste. This thesis investigates the potential of producing vehicle fuel from landfill gas in the region of Biogas Öst.In 2008, an amount of 32 million Nm3 landfill gas was extracted in the region. This level can be maintained for another ten years if the efficiency of gas extraction is improved. The annual production will decrease with time since landfills aren?t allowed to receive more organic waste.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att beskriva hur mindre tjänsteföretag drar nytta av sin region för att locka internationella gäster. Analysera hur de använder sig av platsmarknadsföring och samverkan samt ge rekommendationer till liknande företag.Vi har använt oss utav en abduktiv ansats samt ett kvalitativt forskningsangreppssätt. De organisationer som vi studerat och intervjuat är Mundekulla, Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Hotell Ronja samt Regionförbundet.Vi har använt oss av källor som kan hjälpa oss skapa en teoretisk syntes kring våra delfrågor inom ämnena: Tjänsteföretagens internationalisering och marknadsföring, Hur regioner och företag samverkar samt Hur regioner arbetar med platsmarknadsföring.Vi har kommit fram till att regional samverkan är av stor vikt när ett mindre tjänsteföretag ska locka en internationell kundkrets. This study where designed to investigate if there are any positive relationship between the extent of physical activity during adolescent's leisure time and the academic performance, and also if there are any negative relationship between the academic performance and the time spent in front of the television or computers. Another part of the study tried to find out if physical activity has a direct and immediate influence on the performance in school. 91 pupils (51 girls and 40 boys) in the 8:th year of the Swedish primary school, from three different schools participated in the study. All 91 pupils first responded to a questionnaire concerning there activities in leisure time. They where then tested in a mathematical test and the results where compared with the extent of physical activity and TV/computer time they had stated in the questionnaire.

The purpose of the study is to investigate and elucidate how low-cost airlines can influence and develop tourism in a region. In order to bring about the purpose the author used two research questions. Have low-cost airlines contributed to regional development? How many additional visitors have low-cost airlines contributed to Stockholm? In order to answer these questions a survey was carried out at Arlanda airport and statistics were collected. The results of the study show that there has been a regional development.

The purpose of this study is to find out the viability in performing final felling in stands with high timber volume or if it´s more profitable to leave these stands to the next owner. Will he or she pay more for the standing stock then the industry? The prices of forest-land have increased significantly over the last couple of years in Sweden and some properties seem to go higher than others. Is this because of higher standing stock volume or can a certain volume/hectare bring a higher price? Maybe a combination of both? This study is based on the the sale-statistics for 2012 from real-estate agency Areal.
