This essay aims to investigate how women who fall ill in Rheumatoid Arthritis, during or just after their pregnancy, experience and cope with this. The main questions were 1. What experiences did the women have from receiving their diagnosis? 2. How has the motherhood and the sickness affected one another? 3.

The purpose of this essay is to draw attention to a rather new phenomena, virtual bullying amongst young people. Bullying has been known for a long time but today, bullying has found new ways of expression. New technology, which includes the Internet and cell phones, has given the bullies new weapons to use in their bullying.The study I have done has been qualitative and contained interviews. Represents from two communities, Playahead and LunarStorm, and two organisations, BRIS and Friends, all together five persons (two persons from LunarStorm) have been interviewed and had the opportunity to tell me their view on virtual bullying.The results show that young people see the new technologies as a valuable prolongation of their reality that they won?t give up if they don?t need to.

For young people today the ability to read and interpret text seems to be of decreasing standard. This bachelor thesis is trying to find patterns among five different library patrons, all adults and most of them readers for life. The specific aims are, through their individual stories, to find out what made and helped them become readers of literature for enjoyment and pleasure. How do they look upon themselves as readers, how do they find their reading and finally which role does it play in their everyday lives. Five semi-structured interviews have been conducted in a qualitative way and been put through a thematic-narrative analysis.The avid readers of this study all read throughout their lives and almost right from the beginning read a lot.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the factors of children?s voluntarily reading in their spare time. We also want to know if the children choose non-fiction books for their voluntarily reading. The method as well as the empirical basis of this study is qualitative, with interviews of twenty-eight children in ages between 9 and 12 years. We conducted nine interviews with 3?4 children in each group.

Med olika interventioner kan det skapas friskare anställda och därmed effektivare företag. Hälsofrämjande åtgärder är därför av intresse för både anställda och arbetsgivare. Det är framförallt individers mat-, motions- och tobaksvanor som påverkar hälsan. Arbetsgivarens insatser bör i första hand riktas mot motionsvanorna, eftersom dessa har störst hälsopåverkan och i andra hand mot tobaksvanorna.

The aim of this thesis was to investigate if teenage girls in Sweden have a tendency to join gangs as they do in the United States.

The aim of this thesis is to examine collaborative tagging as a potential asset to libraries by a review of 10 social bookmarking sites and their features, and a discussion of these features? possible use when the environment changes from the web to a library. Previous research on collaborative tagging is presented, as well as overviews of social bookmarking, folksonomies and the concept of Web 2.0 and Library 2.0. The study itself is presented as a walkthrough of common features and how they work, followed by a schematic overview of which sites have which features. Finally each site is presented in a more detailed manner.

The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to examine how children describe their experiences of their own reading, with focus on different aspects of reading: Choice of reading, reading environment, response to reading and book talk. Our aim is also to examine which approaches to reading their stories illustrate. The research is founded on semi-structured interviews with six children aged 10, in connection with book talks. For analysis we used Åse Hedemark?s study Barn berättar : En studie av 10-årningars syn på läsning och bibliotek as well as Aidan Chambers? theories concerning reading and reading environment.

The purpose of this report is to give a better picture of the needs for additional services of property purchasers of Areal. Add-on services are the type of counseling you may need to achieve good economy on an agricultural property. Through a survey of property buyers of Areal information has been collected and compiled. A very good response rate was obtained and the material seemed reliable as it reflected the population in general.

The aim of this study was to describe how persons with Whiplash associated disorder experience how the pain affects them in their daily life. The design of the study was descriptive with qualitative, individual interviews, questionnaire with background facts of the examination group, and diary notes from persons with pain of WAD. Method for selection was convenience. Through contact with the association of whiplash group in a county in middle of Sweden, the majority of the examination group for the study was found. Five persons where given information about the study, one of them choose not to take part of the study, and one of the persons did not complete the study.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka vad pedagoger på olika förskolor har för syn på barns lärande i utomhusmiljö, betydelsen av utomhusmiljöns utformning och pedagogens närvaro i utomhusleken. Studien är kvalitativ och baseras på semistrukturerade intervjuer med nio pedagoger som är verksamma inom förskolan. Resultatet av studien visar att samtliga pedagoger betraktar utomhusmiljön som en viktig arena för barns lärande. Pedagogerna lyfter fram att det är viktigt att vara lyhörd för barns önskemål och behov vad gäller material till miljön. Det finns en medvetenhet hos pedagogerna att barnen behöver närvarande vuxna i leken för att ge stöd, stimulans och utmaningar som leder till utveckling i lärandet.

This hermeneutic case study examines how and why an insurance company?s output has been affected by a CEO-succession. The authors pay specific attention to three activities; changes in personnel and organization structure, handling of media and change in customer focus. It is shown that the CEO was able to influence the company?s activities and this discretion was primarily created through her relational capacity.

Denna studie undersöker hur idrottsföreningar från de två, publikmässigt största sporterna i Sverige, fotboll och ishockey, arbetar med sina medie- och kommunikationskanaler. Med det menar vi hur idrottsföreningarna använder sig av den nya tekniken som sociala medier och andra mediaformer för att utveckla sina föreningar och deras matcharrangemang. Är klubbarna interagerade med sociala medier som Facebook, YouTube och Twitter eller använder de sig av andra mediaformer som videoklipp, ljudfiler med mera? Hur försöker klubbarna locka publik till sina matcher och på vilket sätt arbetar de med sin arena och matcharrangemang? Vi tycker denna undersökning är intressant för att den är aktuell och berör ett ämne som det inte skrivits om i någon större utsträckning..
