Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur lärare uppfattar bedömning i matematik och hur de tolkar begreppet bedömning för lärande. Vidare undersöks huruvida bedömning för lärande kan användas inom ämnet matematik på gymnasiet och hur detta påverkar elevers lärprocess. Resultatet grundar sig på intervjuer med matematiklärare på gymnasiet, och pekar på att lärare har en diffus uppfattning kring begreppet bedömning för lärande. Vidare visar resultatet att bedömning för lärande används, både medvetet och omedvetet, i olika former inom matematikundervisningen. Framförallt är det feedback och konkretisering av mål som är återkommande och framstående komponenter i förhållande till bedömning för lärande.

Alla elever i den svenska skolan ska varje termin ha ett utvecklingssamtal där lärare, elev och föräldrar diskuterar elevens utveckling. Den individuella utvecklingsplanen (IUP) ska stödja elevens fortsatta lärande och fr.o.m. juli 2008 infördes krav på skriftliga omdömen i elevens IUP. Bedömningen ska enligt skolverket ha en formativ funktion d.v.s. att beskriva elevens nuvarande kunskaper i förhållande till de kursmål man arbetat mot och förslag på hur elevens fortsatta lärande ska ske.

My aim in this case study has been to create a method for creature design to test this method in a production and evaluate the results. To achieve this I studied and analyzed the methods of three concept artists and illustrators named James Gurney, Neville Page and Iain McCaig. From the analysis of these artist´s methods, combined with my own personal experience, a new method was formed. To test this method a creature was designed based on directives given by a game design group in the process of creating a table top role playing game in a fictitious world. These directives where given for the creature´s role and its living conditions.

Aim and research questionsThe over-all aim of this study was to gain insight info how two male coaches of a specific soccer team behave in a practice environment with regards to educating the players.More specifically, the study sought to map the extent to which said behaviour matched two specific methods of learning; these being Teaching Games for Understanding (TgfU) and Enhanced Guided Discovery (EGD). Research questions: (1) Do the coaches employ the methods and guidelines, which are outlined in the educational plan provided by the soccer association? If so, what form does this application take in practice? (2) To what extent and in what ways do the coaches utilize feedback and questioning techniques in the education of players? (3) What similarities and differences in behaviour can be identified between the chosen soccer team?s two coaches?Method: The data for the study was collected through field observation. The subjects were two youth elite soccer coaches and observation of these coaches took place during five regular practice sessions on the soccer field. All data gathering and analysis were carried out using a modified version of the Coach Analysis and Intervention System (CAIS).

In the school subject of the natural sciences it is imperative that the students are given opportunities to ?talk science?, since the dialogues that occur in the classroom have a significant importance for the students? abilities to engage in meaning-making in their learning process. Hence, the student and teacher interaction in the classroom and the feedback given there play a significant role in the students? learning process. The aim of this study is to contribute to the development of formative assessment tools that can mediate the students? meaning-making in natural sciences subjects in upper-secondary school.

På senare tid har allt större fokus lagts på vikten av motiverade anställda på arbetsplatsen. I denna uppsats undersöks hur kommunikation kan påverka motivationen på arbetsplatsen. Detta sker genom en fallstudie med en kvantitativ undersökningsmetod i form av en enkätundersökning på byggföretaget NCC, där de fyra kommunikationsfaktorernas (feedback, öppenhet, språk och medium) eventuella påverkan på de fyra motivationsfaktorerna mål, meningsfullhet, utveckling och trivsel, undersöks. Sammanställningen visade att alla motivationsfaktorer samt alla kommunikationsfaktorer förutom feedback ansågs som positivt bland personalen på NCC. Detta gav ett resultat som säger att det främst är kommunikationsfaktorerna öppenhet, språk och valet av medium mellan ledningen och de anställda som kan påverka motivationen på arbetsplatsen..

Background: There have been doping usage as far back as as ancient Greece and around the early 1900s started the doping we have today. In 2008 it was 22,000 men aged 15-54 years old who had any kind of experience with doping in Sweden. The problem of doping use are all over the world and to overcome this problem, we need to work across borders.Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate whether there is any connection between the use of supplements and attitude to doping. The study is based on the questions: is there any connection between the use of supplements and positive attitude to doping? is there any connection between the use of supplements/doping substances and high training frequency? and is there different use of supplement/doping substances between girls and boys?Method: A survey in form of a cross-sectional study and a waiting room survey was conducted with 63 respondents of whom 57,1% were women.

The objective was to examine the frequency of unwanted behaviors in the Swedish feline population and what factors in the environment, inheritance and past life that have an influence on the frequency. SLU?s web poll generator was used to create a web poll which insinuated that it was a poll with objective to make an inventory of the Swedish feline population. I wanted to avoid that only owners to cats with unwanted behaviors answered the poll. The web link to the poll was sent to SLUs students and posted on Internet forums for people interested in cats.

Canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a disease with high morbidity and mortality and with a high prevalence in certain breeds. Predominatly large breeds are affected, such as Great danes, Newfoundlands, Deerhounds and Dobermanns. One exception is Cocker spaniels, where both American and English Cocker spaniels are affected in a quite high frequency. Cardiomyopathy is characterised as a disease that affects the myocardium and gives an impaired heart function. To diagnose DCM following criteria have to be observed: 1. Dilation of the left ventricle. 2. Reduced systolic heart function. 3. Increased sphericity of the left ventricle. To be certain of the diagnosis, alternative reasons for the symptoms such as lung- and heart diseases with other etiologies have to be excluded Two different types of DCM have been found upon histological examination.

The work place is becoming more flexible and an increasing number of employees report to a leader in another location or country. The borders between different countries, work places and cultures are diminished to a greater extent than before. Working from a distance means new opportunities in terms of competence development, flexibility in working hours, tasks and resources, a larger platform for various career opportunities and an expanded network. The purpose with this study is to examine how leaders can create a successful virtual team and motivate remotely. The qualitative study is carried out through interviews with leaders and employees within Nielsen Nordic.

Idrott och hälsa är ett obligatoriskt ämne för elever oavsett de går på särskola eller inte. Elever i särskolan kan behöva annorlunda instruktioner, bemötande och feedback. Det som avgör hur idrottsläraren behöver arbeta med dessa saker beror på vilken typ av funktionsnedsättning eleverna har. Elever på särskolan har en anpassad kursplan, det vill säga att de personliga förutsättningarna ligger till grund för hur målen kan och ska uppnås (Skolverket, 2011). Forskning visar att idrottslektionerna på särskolan har lägre rörelseaktivitet, detta för att stor del av tiden går åt till instruktioner och liknande (Sit, McKenzie & McManus, 2008).

This paper investigates the grammatical construction intransitive motionconstruction with GOAL as it is used in Swedish (Swe. intransitivrörelsekonstruktion med MÅL).I examine in which ways the construction is productive, i.e. thepossibility to use the construction with new verbs as well as withordinary motion verbs with new functions. The notion of productivity isbased on the construction?s type frequency and semantic openness(Goldberg 1995, 2006; Barðdal 2008; Bybee 2010).

Development and construction of an electronic Breakout box is the main work for this thesis. The box is a part of a test system for the component Fuel Flow Transmitter and should convert signals to be suitable for a frequency counter. A previously constructed Breakoutbox for this purpose is being old and needed to be recreated. So SAAB Aerotech, Aircraft services, the company for the thesis work wanted to construct a new, more sustainable Breakoutbox adapted to a more modern technology. The signals to the box comes from the transmitter and should be converted to suitable signals for a frequency counter so it can show pulse and time difference between the signals.

On a request from the water sewage plant Gryaab in Gothenburg a power quality survey was performed. The voltages and currents have continuously been sampled in the incoming 10 kV substation HSP01 from April-August 2008. Power quality measurements were also performed in Gryaabs other 10 kV substation HSP04 fed from HSP01 and at the terminals of the induction motor IN_PU4040 of 1.3 MW which controls one of the four large inflow pumps to the plant. The reason for the latter measurement was due to registered negative transients each time the motor was connected to the grid. The cause of the transients could be explained by the coupling in the substation, the ageing of the motor which could result in damage of the bearings or resonance in the motor circuit which amplifies high frequency harmonics.

Brownout-fenomenet ligger till grund för ungefär 75 procent av alla flygolyckor inom NATO. Olyckorna sker under start och landningssekvenser i torra klimat då sand virvlar upp och försämrar pilotens sikt utifrån helikoptern. Under brownout förlorar piloten visuella referenser utanför helikoptern vilket gör att denne omedvetet kan tappa kontrollen över helikoptern och således kan hamna i plötsligt drift. Därför har NATO i samarbete med bland annat Totalförsvarets Forskningsinstitut (FOI) försökt finna en lösning på problemen som uppstår vid brownout. Syftet med föreliggande studie är främst att undersöka om deltagares användning av taktila driftdisplayer leder till mindre drift än vid användning av en visuell driftdisplay samt undersöka med vilken av de taktila displayerna som leder till minst drift.
