In this thesis I discuss and analyse the use of violence of Basque radical nationalists after the 11th of September 2001 and the bombing of Madrid the 11th of March 2004. The field study is performed in the Basque country with interviews both on the French and Spanish side of the border with representatives from the Basque Nationalist Liberation Movement (BNLM).After the 11th of September the Spanish government continued its struggle against the countries own terror - ETA. But as the research will show the new political context after the 11/9 made it possible for the state to intensify the labelling of groups from the BNLM as terrorist organisations and thereby putting its members and leaders in prison for terrorism. My research shows that this social change may lead to a mobilisation of activists inside ETA, which in turn might create a continuity of the group's use of violence. The scenario is though challenged by an other setting in which the political situation after the 11/9 have made use of violence by militant groups like ETA illegitimate and irrational as a consequence of the mental trauma among the people of the western world.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this essay has been to analyse an incident that received huge attention in the media that took place on February 24 2011 involving the famous fashion designer John Galliano. Galliano who at the time served as a creative director at French luxury fashion house Dior hurled anti-Semitic remarks during an altercation to a couple at Paris café La Perle. We intended to do a study of the material in two parts. The primary focus of our thesis was to analyse six different newspaper articles that involved the incident. We chose to analyse three articles from Great Britain and three from the United States to get a versatile image of the incident.

 In the global society of today it takes more and more to become a successful purchaser. One part of this is to understand distinctions between different countries. The first and the biggest thing that you think about are the languages. Of course this is a big obstacle but there are also big cultural differences to be considered. This study deals with the Adventure Comic Prince Valiant, written and designed by the Canadian artist Harold R. Foster. Focus is on the first two years of publication 1937-1938, where the hero is pictured in his Adolescence. This gives the title of the study: Youth. Earlier writings in the USA on this topic, have concentrated on the artist and less on analyses of the comic itself.

A large part of the Iranian population resented the west, in particular USA and Great Britain, during the Islamic revolution in Iran 1979. The people were also resenting the adverse effects of the trumped up frame made in Iran. The last shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was detested by many in Iran for its west-oriented regime. The resentment among many Iranians is a consequence of the violations of e.g. the lack of political and civil rights, there were no existing legal security in the society, there were no economic distribution and the regime of Mohammad Reza Shah violated the human rights.The resolution from an Iranian perspective for riot is not new, during the last centuries the abomination against the despotic kings have been existing varyingly and big riots have been raised.  The Islamic revolution in 1979 was new because the revolution added adverse effects of west, the population detested west and expressed it by protesting through demonstration.  The significance of the revolution in 1979 was also attributable to Islam.

Problems can arise from cultural differences in connection with that persons face in society and in international collaboration. In this study, I assume theoretical framework that exists in cultural and communication theme and professionalism to find common objectives within educated groups.Method: The purpose of this study, I have chosen to use a qualitative approach.

This project was a collaboration with Kajsa Bergström. The projected was to develop the French/English deck of cards. We replaced the knight, queen and king with the numbers 11, 12 and 13. We worked with separate aesthetics and solutions after making that common change. I worked on an idea on how to make the cards look slim, by adapting a handcrafted look, full of details.

Studien bygger på en kvantitativ samt en kvalitativ analys av hur bilder används och kan tolkas i en franskabok och en tyskabok ur ett genusperspektiv. Resultaten av analysen visar att i båda dessa böcker är bilderna stereotypt orienterade. Flickorna har ljusa eller rosa kläder och bär klänningar eller kjolar för läsaren skall förstå att det är en flicka, och killarna har oftast blå eller mörkt sportiga kläder. Bilderna i boken är ibland vilseledande och matchar inte vad som står i texten till bilden.

Fem jämförbara år väljs ut som kan anses fånga trenden under hela tidsperioden. För varje år studeras ett urval av företagen noterade på Stockholmsbörsens O-lista. Företagen delas in i kategorier utifrån de uppställda variablerna lönsamhet, storlek och investeringsmöjligheter. Kategoriseringen görs i syfte att följa utvecklingen av utdelningar i respektive kategori och därigenom identifiera eventuella förändringar i utdelningar.

rspective [123][pdf.gif] The aim of this thesis is to study the Swedish Public Lending Right PLR from the authors perspective. I investigate what the Swedish authors of today think about the system for distributing the money in the Authors trust Författarfonden, and in what ways they want to change it. I also try to distinguish the authors thoughts about how the scolarships from the Authors trust are distributed. What kind of authors do they think are favoured when the money is distributed and what kind of authors are treated unfairly. Finally I investigate how the money is shared out in reality by using some of the literature sociologist Johan Svedjedals theories of the distribution, and compare these facts with the authors thoughts about how the money is distributed.

Andelen äldre ökar snabbt i Sverige. Äldre människor lider ofta av flera sjukdomar och läkemedel är den vanligaste behandlingsformen hos dessa individer. På grund av åldersförändringar i alla organ samt ökad användning av läkarordinerade, receptfria samt naturläkemedel är risken stor för denna grupp att drabbas av läkemedelsrelaterade problem i form av biverkningar och interaktioner. Polyfarmaci, det vill säga övermedicinering, ökar denna risk ytterligare och är en vanlig orsak att äldre patienter söker vård. Polyfarmaci är därmed en riskfaktor för äldres hälsa och har negativ inverkan på flera av kroppens funktioner.

The purpose of this Master's thesis is to examine the decision-process concerning public art in Borås municipality. My questions have been from where the initiatives come, who the decision-makers are, how the decisions are taken and which questions are discussed. I have examined this through partly interviews with the members of the deciding organ in Borås municipality, partly through literary studies. I have also analysed texts such as debates and protocols from the Swedish parliament. I have also been present at two of the committees meetings.

SammanfattningKoncernchefens rättsliga ställning är oklar vad avser hans rätt att företräda bolaget och hans skadeståndsansvar. Eftersom begreppet koncernchef inte förekommer i aktiebolagslagen så kan problem uppstå när man skall placera in koncernchefen i ett bolags organisation. En koncernchefs ställning riskerar att inkräkta på bolagets lag reglerade organ såsom VD och styrelse. Koncernchefen kan i vissa fall utföra uppgifter som enligt lag skall skötas av VD eller styrelse. Frågan är hur frågan om koncernchefens skadeståndsansvar skall hanteras i de fall koncernchefen får en ställning som inte är förenlig med aktiebolagslagen.

The discussion of reconstruction is significant because the insight and knowledge in the subject is needed in order to help nations after a disaster. Bosnia-Herzegovina's capital Sarajevo is a city recovering from a civil war where the city's situation was complicated by an ethnic conflict that has been segregating it. The restoration of the city's structure can free people from their tragedy and make them live again.
