In this project we have used the theory of analytical mechanics to derive equations of motion for complex mechanical systems in order to study their behaviour over time. Even if the theory provides powerful tools to tackle tough problems which would be very hard to solve by methods of Newtonian mechanics, you are still relatively limited without running any computer simulations. One realises that in a faster rate it will be an incredibly difficult task to find an analytical solution when the degrees of freedom increases. Even if one would succeed to derive the equations, one still has to solve them to get the information of the systems behavior. Of experience one knows that the equations in general are nonlinear and hence must be integrated numericaly.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka fordonselevers motivation till religionskunskapsämnet på gymnasiet. Det sker genom att undersöka hur motiverade eller omotiverade eleverna är. Det är relevant eftersom bland annat skolinspektionens granskning av religionskunskapsämnet visar att fordonselever har ett genomsnittligt låga betyg i religionskunskapsämnet. Skolinspektionens granskning visar även på brister i hur ämnet presenteras för eleverna. Flertalet elever uttrycker att ämnet inte är anpassat för dem och att det påminner om den religionskunskap de läste på högstadiet.

This Master's Thesis studies the attitude that library employees have regarding a sex and gender-neutral treatmentof their clients. The analysis is based upon replies to a questionnaire which was submitted though channels directedat library employees, like BIBLIST and BiblFeed. The respondent?s replies contained a number of welldevelopedcomments making the resultant analysis both quantitative and qualitative in nature.In performing the analysis a theoretical framework combining Hirdman?s gender system with symbolic interactionismhas been used together with literature about gender roles.The questionnaire showed that gender neutrality is a complex concept that can be interpreted in many differentways and is therefore easily misunderstood. It is obvious that sex is an important category when respondents aredealing with their clients, but also that sex and gender are problematic concepts which respondents find difficultto know exactly how to relate to.

The thesis has as purpose to describe and analyse a decision made be the Swedish tax committee in which it was decided that a cooperative economical associations selling price, which was less than the comparable public bonds market price, would be the focus of a withdrawal tax. These types of associations have as purpose to increase their owners wealth with the benefit of freedom from personal responsibility.

Detta examensarbete är en kvalitativ undersökning av hur svenska religionslärare ser på sitt ämnes roll i ett mångreligiöst samhälle, samt hur de ser på de förändringar som genomförts i kursplanen samt hur de gör för att uppfylla läroplanenernas krav på objektivitet. Många lärare menar att ämnet har utökats med nya moment, såsom religion i förhållande till vetenskap, men att tiden för kurserna inte utökats. Resultatet har därför enligt en lärare blivit mindre tid till fördjupning. Alla lärare i undersökninge säger att man försöker behandla alla religioner rättvist och neutralt, men man menar samtidigt att det gäller att vara medveten om att man aldrig helt kan uppnå neutralitet..

The purpose of this study is to illustrate why Norway is not a member of the EU from a rational choice perspective. In order to fulfil this purpose, two questions will constitute the framework of the study. These are:1. What are the arguments of the EU-opposers in the Norwegian EU-debate?2.

The aim of this study is to examine how preschools contribute to the forming of identity in children, with a specific focus on the quiet and socially withdrawn child. How do the teachers describe the quiet child and the socially withdrawn child? Are there any opportunities for children to be quiet/withdrawn in preschools? These questions have also been analysed from a gender perspective. The method chosen is qualitative method. Nine preschool teachers from two Swedish preschools have been interviewed.

The purpose of this study was to increase the understanding of the phenomenon that there are so many young people placed in institutions in Sweden despite the valuable knowledge regarding the problems and risks of doing so. The questions that follow in the essay were what guided the social workers to choose institutional placement for youngsters. It went on to also ask if this knowledge could contribute to an increased understanding of why there were so many young people placed in institutions despite the criticism from scientists. To accomplish the goal of the essay, former science in the subject was reported and six social workers within social services were interviewed. The material of the interviews was analyzed with help from the theory of human service organizations, street-level bureaucrats work situation and the new institutionalism.The result of the investigation showed that the social workers choices to place young people in institutions is guided by specific work and organizational factors connected with a belief in the helping function of the surroundings.

The European Union is originally an economic organization that has developed into including more social and cultural questions. These questions are especially important when the Union expands with so many different cultures and traditions to take into concideration.I have from an identity perspective studied the relation between the European Union and the candidate country of Turkey. Using theories including the Other I have discussed the relationship between us (Europe) and the Other (Turkey) and Turkey's possibilites to become a member of the Union. My conclusion will include a discussion on the basis of three dimensions; History, Economy/Politics and Religion. I believe there are hindrances for Turkey to become a member of the European Union.

The rural development programme is a tool for promoting sustainable development in the Swedish countryside. The master plan should, for example, give directions for the national interest and describe how it will follow up national and regional targets such as the EU's environmental quality standards. Because the municipality has considerable freedom to formulate the plan in its sole discretion, and that it contains the municipality's political vision, it is also feasible to make a discourse analysis of the plan text.In discourse analysis, including articles and documents written by Rural Network Working Group on land use planning to be included. The purpose of discourse analysis is to see if there are differences in the way rural areas are described and if there are any flaws in how the designer interprets the rural development programme. Furthermore, the analysis result in tools that are adapted to the standards we create and choose.The standards we have are being designed based on our values, which differ.

På Åland lever i dag människor från ett tjugotal olika länder. De bär med sig sin kultur, och även om de inte aktivt utövar den, också sin religion. Jag blev nyfiken på huruvida den åländska skolans tillämpning av de normativa texter som grundskolelagen och läroplanen utgör, appellerar till dagens verklighet, som den uttrycks i den offentliga debatten i medier och hos allmänheten.I augusti 2003 fick Finland en ny religionsfrihetslag, den tidigare daterade sig till 1922. Målet med den nya lagen är att alla religiösa samfund i Finland skall vara jämlika och autonoma. Till samfundsstatusen är kopplad en statlig garanti om undervisning i den egna religionen.
