Queen Kristina of Sweden (1626-1689) is a person who has been widely studied during the years. She is known as the monarch who left the Swedish throne and the protestant faith in favour of the catholic Rome. Even though Kristina left her powerful position as queen of Sweden she never gave up her dignity as a sovereign.  My purpose with this study is to analyse historians and other scholars different research concerning Kristina?s notorious execution of Monaldesco in 1657.

Husaberg Scandinavia AB is a company producing and developing a range of motorcycles for both on- and off-road use. Husaberg provided the project group with a task of developing an entirely new way of operating the sequential transmission that can be found in today?s motorcycles. The target was to bring the product from idea to a functional prototype ready for further tests. Operation of the motorcycles transmission is today made by a foot pedal placed on the left hand side of the bike.

Föreliggande arbete ingår som ett led i implementeringen av ADA:s Nutritionsbehandlingsprocess (NCPM) vid ett svenskt universitetssjukhus.Syfte: Att ta fram ett journalgranskningsinstrument för granskning av dietistjournaler, samt att med detta instrument kartlägga nutritionsbehandlingsprocessen vid sjukhusets dietistklinik och hur denna journalfördes innan ADA:s Nutritionsbehandlingsprocess implementerades.Metod och material: Ett journalgranskningsinstrument med tillhörande granskningsanvisningar utformades med utgångspunkt från de fyra stegen i ADA:s Nutritionsbehandlingsprocess. The upper secondary school has not gotten the same attention.We have chosen to explore how social science teachers in upper secondary school treat the subject of gender and gender equality, what strategies they apply in the classroom and how their pupils respond to the subject.We wanted to get access to their classrooms so we could do an ethnographical study to find the answers to how their lessons were planned and executed, if different teachers made different didactic choices depending on the orientation of the class. As our work progressed we ran in to an interesting problem which ultimately made us rethink the purpose of this paper.In our pursuit of respondents we contacted many schools by e-mail and later visited the schools to find participants. This proved difficult as we were met with a wall of silence and lack of interest.

The purpose of this thesis is to historically describe how Fédération Internationale deFootball Association (FIFA) interprets how the discourse of anti-racism has developed withintheir own organization throughout the years. In doing so, the thesis lands in a present timeperspective and then aims to identify the norms which FIFA, according to the organizationitself, stands for in regard to anti-racism within world football. That standard of behavior isthen put in contrast with the hidden ideological conceptions which, with the applying of apost-colonial perspective, can be found in the rhetoric used by FIFA in expressing themselvesabout their anti-racism stand.The methodology used in this thesis builds upon a qualitative text analysis approach inwhich solely primary sources available through the official website fifa.com are considered.The study finds that anti-racism is a relatively young concept within FIFA and that the communicatedideal standard of behavior circles around terms such as unity, diversity, solidarityand equality. The purpose with this study was to examine six caseworkers and two clients? experiences of interaction in the investigative work of social assistance. Moreover, how the interaction between caseworkers and clients are affected by the structure of the social assistance unit. The study also wanted to show how interaction rituals contribute to the change in assessment procedure in the investigative work. The study even aimed to highlight the ways in which social exclusion occurs in investigative work from caseworkers and client?s capital and gender.

To me, competing in architecture has always been slightly odd and at the same time exiting. These competitions are one of few occasions were architecture is almost like art. The competition generates a variety of ideas and projects and these are often expressed in a more appetizing and artistic way than traditional architecture. It?s also an art to master the special circumstances and requirements of a competition.

Omhändertagandet av dessa patienter medför höga kostnader, främst inom slutenvården. Hjärtsvikt är i sig ingen sjukdom, utan en benämning på ett sjukdomstillstånd orsakat av annan sjukdom eller en störning av hjärtats funktion. Det innebär att hjärtats pumpförmåga har försämrats, vilket medför att hjärtat inte klarar av att pumpa ut tillräckligt med blod och syre till kroppens vävnader och organ.

Many of us have grown up hearing or using words meant as insults or negative adjectives that were in fact names for social groups. Most of them have gone unquestioned in the mainstream consciousness, but the term Gay in the generally negative meaning has in the past years been given attention as offensive and homophobic, with debates emerging in response over whether or not this is true, particularly on the internet. It is the articles and forum threads from these debates that make out the empirical material for a qualitative study as I ask what these people?s thoughts are about this term and how it is perceived.After a qualitative coding and analysis of these texts, and interpretation of the results based on Erving Goffman?s theory of Phantom acceptance and stigma terms, Judith Butler?s theory of performativity, Ferdinand de Sassure?s theory of signifier and signified and how it connects to the community and Baudrillards theory of simulacra, this is the principal conclusion that I have drawn:For some of the people in this debate, the term Gay and its use is about homophobia and heterosexism, though mostly it?s not overt but a subconscious part of the continued dehumanization and stigmatization of homo- and bisexual people. Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to research and analyze how the establishment in new markets of small and medium Swedish fashion companies can be made more efficient from a network perspective. Methodology: The researchers have decided to take a phenomenological standpoint and undertake an exploratory study in order to gain understanding of the phenomenon of market entry and the use of networks. Det har tidigare uppmärksammats att magnetfältsnivåerna kan vara relativt höga i kuvöser, framförallt på grund av den värmebädd som barnet ligger på. I epidemiologiska studier av barnleukemi och association till magnetfältsexponering har man funnit en antydan till överrisk bland för tidigt födda barn som legat i inkubatorer med höga magnetfältsnivåer. Man har även funnit påverkan på hjärtfrekvensvariabilitet hos barn som vårdats i kuvöser och här misstänker man förhöjda magnetfältsnivåer som en möjlig förklaring. Syftet med denna studie var att genom noggranna mätningar kartlägga lågfrekventa magnetfält i och kring två sorters kuvöser (Dräger 8000 IC och Giraffe OmniBed) samt kringutrustning till dessa. Vidare har långtidsregistreringar av magnetfältet utförts i båda kuvöstyperna.

The wind power increase of Gotland as well as other parts of Sweden during the last ten year period has meant that this renewable energy source has increased its share over other fossil sources. The year of 2011 became the first when the wind power produced more energy than an average nuclear reactor. Now that wind power is in an expansive phase, the land issue will be of great interest. Land with good wind resources will be of interest to wind energy developers. The problems that this essay is based on are; how can landowners altering the economic conditions at a wind power establishment?
