Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka om elevers medievanor och attityd till läsning har förändrats de senaste åren och i så fall på vilket sätt. Undersökningen tar också upp hur IT och digitala lärresurser används i undervisningen och vad det innebär för elevernas attityd till skolarbetet. Dessutom diskuteras hur svenskundervisningen kan förändras i framtiden och möjliga följder av en sådan förändring. Undersökningen utgår ifrån följande frågeställningar:? Har elevernas medievanor förändrats och vad innebär i så fall dessa förändringar för läsförmåga och läsförståelse?? Används digital teknik och digitala lärresurser i undervisningen och vad innebär det i så fall för elevernas attityd till läsning och skolarbete?? Vad innebär dessa förändringar för svenskundervisningen i framtiden?.

We have the tradition in Sweden to build villas and houses with a wooden framework. It has become natural for us because we have so much forest in our country. Building with wood has advantages, it is easy to process, but also disadvantages, as it is sensitive to moisture.Finland has long made use of the thermal blocks to build villas. It is a type of bricks that are a bit like a sandwich element, with a core of EPS and concrete on both sides of the core material. The concrete is hollow, so that after the walls has been bricked up you pour concrete into the hollow bricks.The issue of this report is to find out if concrete can be an alternative to wood as framework material in villas.

This project is implemented as a thesis at the Royal Institute of Technology in the master?s degree program Integrated Product Design and Industrial Design Engineering. The project has involved development and efficiency of a free starter package for expectant parents with useful content consisting of useful products for both before and after childbirth. Areas that have been investigated include packaging development, service design and appropriate content for the package.During the work, theory about packaging design, materials, manufacturing techniques and logistics have been processed to base the further work on. The project process has involved competitor analysis and interviews with store owners and customer surveys, that have been conducted to identify areas for improvement of the current solution.

Syftet med denna uppsats är, att genom en diskursanalytisk metod, undersöka hur genus framställs och konstrueras i två samhällskunskapsböcker från gymnasiet. Vidare är syftet att undersöka i vilken grad läroböckernas framställning av manligt och kvinnligt stämmer överens med den syn på genus och jämställdhet som finns i skolans styrdokument, i detta fall Lpf 94? Tidigare forskning har visat att det är män/pojkar som får mest utrymme i läromedlen samt att män och kvinnor oftast framställs och avbildas med stereotypa drag. Detta är också resultatet utifrån min undersökning av läromedlen även om analysen också visat på försök att bryta med traditionella könsmönster genom att i vissa fall hålla en könsneutral linje. Resultatet från uppsatsen visar också att läromedlen inte riktigt uppfyller de krav på jämställdhet och genusproblematiserande, vilket uppmanas till i styrdokumenten, i detta fall Lpf 94.

A growing problem in Swedish herbicide free agriculture, the Canadian thistle has been the object of several new trials, seeking methods for non-chemical weed control. The new trials have mainly confirmed earlier experiences; that the most successful methods of control are springtime ploughing, repeated cutting and competition from a stout crop. Row hoeing has also been proven effective. As opposed to earlier recommendations, half season fallow has shown to be a risky and often ineffective method of control. Trials regarding biological methods have shown that above others thistle rust (Puccinia punctiformis) may have the potential of controlling Canadian thistle the future. .

The paper aims to find out how staff and users at two public libraries and one Internetcafeuse Internet. The purpose has been to find out what they find and how they use the informa­tion they retrieve. The studies are based on eight longer interviews with the staff and 33 shorter with the users, who also were observed for a week. The paper includes a background chap­ter about Internet, search tools and the studied places. The following chapters are about pre­vious research, our survey and a discussion with the results, literature and our opinion.We have found out that Internet is usually used for information retrieval.

Research shows that almost 30 per cent men and 20 per cent women at the age of 16-24 in Sweden download music on a regular basis instead of buying records. Thanks to modern technologies teenagers of today have become used to downloading music illegally from theInternet. Even though legal alternatives, such as Spotify, have become popular, the behavior of illegal download of music still persists. What do record companies do to prevent this phenomenon and why do they go to such length to stop this widespread movement? The question is, why is illegal download of music a problem ? and for whom? To investigate this I?ve read books about the subject, analyzed web pages of alternative record companies and interviewed a drummer in a local band.

The study is made in Nacka, a suburb of the capital of Sweden, Stockholm, and focuses on ?the parental school choice" that takes place when children start in first grade at the age of six. New differences in the number of pupils attending various municipal schools have appeared after reforms in the early 1990s giving parents free choice of elementary school for their children. Some schools are located in areas where most children have a middle class background, while others are placed in less attractive surroundings where the parents have a lower educational status, and are more often immigrants. Parents living in the latter kind of surroundings can now send their children to schools further off, but located in more attractive areas. This leads to some schools get an increasing number of pupils and others gets a decreasing.

The swedish rule concerning the treatment of employee stock-options have changed and the new wording of the rule will be applicable for the first time in 2010. The previous wording of the rule stated that the employee shall be taxed for the stock-option when moving abroad, even if the option is not exercised. The Swedish Skatteverket and Regeringsrätten have found that this rule is in conflict with the free movement of persons within the European Union. The new wording of the rule states that the employee shall be taxed when the option is excercised, no matter where the employee is situated. A state`s right of taxation of a stock-option determines wheter and to what extent the employee stock-otion derives from that state..

The aim of this project was to develop a product which gives one or more objects of daily use an additional function. Thru the creativity of children the object shall transform into a new source for play for pre-school children.The purpose of this work was to research how fantasy and free play of children could be enhanced. I wanted to know how I can motivate children to use their fantasy transforming objects into new sources for play.This was achieved by means of developing a number of different prototypes which I tested in Kindergarden. My observations lead to the development of a cloth-wrap for the chair which provides the required source for ongoing role-play. The chair suddenly transforms into a new landscape and multi-purpose object where children?s fantasy is stimulated and creative play is supported..

This paper discusses whether the main argument for European countries to stay out of the euro, i.e. the loss in stability from not having a national monetary policy that can be used for stabilization purposes, is still valid ten years after the introduction of the single currency. We analyse the stabilization performances of four largely comparable Nordic countries that have all chosen different levels of European economic integration. In retrospect, the so-called ?stabilization policy argument? seems surprisingly weak.

The demand for animal products has increased in the last decades, especially for poultry and pork. Pork production has increased drastically globally, and also in Uganda. Thirty-one percent of Uganda´s population lives in poverty. Pig production is believed to play a crucial role in poverty alleviation, because of the ability to convert low quality feed into high quality protein together with high reproductive potential. African swine fever (ASF) is a lethal disease of domestic pigs often characterized by haemorrhagic fever and with mortality rates up to 100%. The disease is endemic in most sub-Saharan countries and since 2007 in the Russian Federation and Caucasus area.

This Master?s thesis concerns the question why a public library establishes a special room for young people and how the young people can influence the activities. I have made interviews with two librarians and four teenagers from a reference group. I have also made an observation of the room. The most important theories are Pierre Bourdieu?stheory of symbolic capital and Mats Lieberg?s theory of free zones.

Människor tenderar att minnas utförda uppgifter och återkalla dem bättre än när de enbart kodar samma uppgifter muntligt, även känd som enactment effekt. Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka om enactment effecten ökar under en ny inkodning som aldrig tidigare utförts inom paradigmet ? Subject-Experimenter-Performed-Task. Sammanlagt medverkade 56 personer i studien, 32 killar och 24 tjejer i åldrarna 10-18. En grupp lågstadiebarn och en grupp gymnasieungdomar testades i VT, EPT, SPT och SEPT betingningar.

Bakgrund: Många äldre patienter faller under vårdtiden på sjukhus. Detta leder till ökat lidande, förlängd vårdtid och en stor samhällskostnad. Sjuksköterskan har ett ansvar över patientsäkerhet och har en viktig funktion för det fallförebyggande arbetet.Syfte: Utifrån tidigare forskning undersöka hur förebyggande omvårdnadsarbete kan utformas för att minska fallrisken hos äldre patienter under vårdtiden på sjukhus.Metod: Litteraturöversikt med 17 kvalitetsgranskade vetenskapliga artiklar från databaserna PubMed och Cinahl.Resultat: En adekvat riskbedömning är av största vikt för att kunna identifiera patienter med hög risk för fall och aktuella riskfaktorer. Riskbedömning behövs för att kunna utforma individuella omvårdnadsåtgärder för att förebygga fall. Denna litteraturöversikt visade att förändringar i miljön, individanpassade hjälpmedel, patientutbildning, fysisk aktivitet och tillskott av vitamin D kombinerat med kalcium är omvårdnadsåtgärder som kan förebygga fall och fallskador hos äldre personer på sjukhus.Slutsats: Vi kan utifrån det vetenskapliga materialet i denna litteraturstudie dra slutsatsen att fall och fallskador kan förebyggas hos äldre personer genom preventiva omvårdnadsåtgärder baserade på identifierade fallriskfaktorer.
