Djurassisterad pedagogik har flera tänkbara tillämpningsområden i skolan. Djur har visat sig inverka positivt på den sociala miljön i skolan. Djur har en positiv effekt på elevernas koncentrationsförmåga, motivation och problemlösningsförmåga. Det har också visat sig att inlärningen gynnas, barn som får lära sig att läsa för en hund lär sig snabbare. Djur är också effektiva hjälpmedel då barn utvecklar sin empati, särskilt för pojkars empatiutveckling.

Geographical indications designate products which have a specific geographical origin, which can either be national, regional or local. The subject is complicated since geographical indications arises a large number of questions There are EC regulations which regulate the protection of geographical indications, but since the field has not yet been exhaustively harmonized, the existence of national rules of protection is therefore still possible, which can lead to trade barriers between the member states. Consequently, one problem consists in whether it may be legitimate to restrict the free movement of goods by article 28 in the EC Treaty by referring to national rules of protection and to what extent such measures may be justified by article 30 or by the Cassis doctrine. An additional question consists in how the line between geographical indications and generic terms is to be established appropriately. Further, geographical indications are exposed to improper use by other dishonest commercial operators and therefore the possibilities of protection against unfair competition and misleading are also discussed in the thesis.

Charles Hartshorne (1897-2000) was a religious philosopher. He adopted and developed the cosmologic thinking and concept of God from the philosopher Alfred North Whitehead, he was also influenced by Heidegger, Spinoza and other philosophers. According to Whiteheads religious philosophy Hartshorne claimed that there is a dualistic transcendence within the Godhead. A dualistic transcendence where one unity/transcendence of God is abstract, outside the creation and time and therefore is eternal. The other unity (or transcendence) is inside time and creation and closely in process to it .

Children's need of a good environment of playing outdoor at schoolyards is, both from a perspective of commonly public's health and from the children themselves, indisputable. Children who have a good and varying playground develop physically, psychologically and socially. As an instrument of pedagogic a playground also is valuable for example in teaching the round, periodical successions and understanding of democratic processes. The conception playground means here in my work the environment outdoor for children at schools up to about twelve years old. What is a good playground then? How is it possible for a landscape architect to contribute improvements? The purpose of my work has been to enlarge my knowledge about playgrounds, understand more of the profession as a landscape architect and apply a perspective of children in the planning. To sum up, the shaping of playgrounds has great importance for the activities of the children and if the teachers make use of it, the teaching. A good playground gives the delight, the excitement and the curiosity free spaces and stimulates new challenges.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att beskriva barns och pedagogers uppfattningar om lärande mellan barn på ett fritidshem. I studien intervjuades femton barn och tre pedagoger på ett fritidshem. Metoden för empiriinsamlingen utgjordes av kvalitativa intervjuer, där det insamlade materialet tolkades mot bakgrund av det sociokulturella perspektivet på lärande. Utifrån barns och pedagogers uppfattningar kring lärande mellan barn utkristalliserade sig fyra kategorier för lärande på arenan fritidshem:Lärande mellan barn utifrån vad man bör och inte bör göra, visade att lärandet mellan barnen kretsade kring regler. Lärande mellan barn via datorn som verktyg, visade att datorn utgjorde ett viktigt verktyg och en central plats för lärande mellan barnen.

This study concerns the energy future of the county of Stockholm up until 2050 and describes how the energy consumption can be compared to today with the use of scenario methodology. Within energy future studies the backcasting approach is well known and has been put to use in this study. Due to the characteristics of backcasting the study is self-fulfilling, i.e. the future energy scenarios presented in this study satisfy the targets set up in this study. In the light of what may be the largest challenge of our time ? the climate change - the aim of this study is to describe how the energy consumption in a fossil fuel free Stockholm county in the year of 2050 may be.

Utifra?n grunden att reklam fo?r produkter till barn riktas till ba?de barn och fo?ra?ldrar, har vi underso?kt hur tryckta annonser i tidningar som har ma?lgruppen barn respektive fo?ra?ldrar ser ut. Vi analyserar dessa utifra?n inneha?llsanalys och fokuserar pa? hur kompositionen i annonserna ser ut. Vad det finns fo?r bilder, symboler och fa?rger, och vad det sa?ger om barn och fo?ra?ldrar som konsumenter och ma?lgrupp.

Att bemöta föräldrar som förlorat ett barn är en utmaning för all sjukvårdspersonal. För att kunna göra det respektfullt och professionellt krävs kunskap och förståelse. Denna litteraturstudie syftar till att få ökad kunskap och förståelse för hur föräldrar upplever förlusten av ett barn. Genom en sökning i olika databaser har tio vetenskapliga artiklar identifierats och granskats. Resultatet visar hur föräldrar som förlorar ett barn påverkas, vad som hjälper dem i sorgearbetet och hur de vill bli bemötta av sjukvårdspersonal.

Mitt syfte med detta arbete var att undersöka flerspråkiga barns språkutveckling. Jag jämförde två olika förskolor och pedagogernas arbetssätt. Den första förskola ligger i en liten stad och den andra i en stor stad i Skåne. Jag ville även undersöka vilka uppfattningar förskolelärare har om flerspråkiga barn samt hur konsekvensen av föräldrarnas agerande är med sina två- eller flerspråkiga barn. Jag har valt att göra en kvalitativ undersökning i två förskolor där jag har gjort intervjuer och observationer.

Syftet med vår rapport är att beskriva förskollärares erfarenheter i det pedagogiska mötet med barn till alkoholmissbrukare. Empiriskt underlag för slutsatser har tagits fram genom personliga intervjuer med sex yrkesverksamma förskollärare som tidigare kommit i kontakt med denna grupp av barn. Intervjuerna visar deras erfarenhet av hur barnens nyfikenhet och lust att lära ser ut i jämförelse med de andra barnen, signaler som bör uppmärksammas samt hur de bemöter och jobbar med dessa barn. Slutsatser som har dragits av förskollärarnas erfarenheter av det pedagogiska mötet med barn till alkoholmissbrukare belyser svårigheterna med att identifiera dessa barn men visar att genom hantering av individers, inte gruppers, behov kan ett starkare bemötande skapas..

The problem presented in this report is that of finding a method to calculate the lift force from a single-element airfoil of arbitrary shape. A number of restrictions are used in order to simplify calculations while retaining reasonable accuracy. The problem is solved for the two-dimensional case only and no finite-wing effects are taken into account. Furthermore, inviscid and incompressible flow is assumed. The method used to solve the problem is the vortex panel method, with vortex singularities distributed over simplified airfoil geometry.

In this thesis I analyse civilizations in South America. I construct civilizationalnarratives through the method of emplotment, to build a historic continuity, whichI subsequently connect to the theoretical framework. The theory emphasise that,when confronted with globalization and free market capitalism, civilizationsembark on different strategies to challenge the power of transnational marketforces. I find that South America is a polarised continent, and is divergingconcerning the relationship towards the USA and free trade agreements. On thesame time the issues that concern the social movements are not being reproducedin a significant matter at state level.

This thesis examines different methods for the cooling of data centers. Several means of cooling with the refrigeration cycle have been studied, as well as the feasibility of using free cooling in different parts of Sweden. In addition, the possibilities of transferring excess heat to a nearby district heating system were investigated. It was found that in all investigated cases except two, the data center could be cooled solely with free cooling for at least 300 days a year when only the outside air temperature was considered as a constraining factor. The limit was then set to 20 °C.The vast majority of all district heating systems in Sweden get little to none of their heat from other excess heat sources.

Det huvudsakliga syftet med studien var att ta reda på förskolepedagogers uppfattningar om barn i behov av särskilt stöd. Fokus av förskolepedagogernas uppfattningar har varit benämningen barn i behov av särskilt stöd samt bemötande och bedömning av barn i behov av särskilt stöd.  Även hur pedagogerna arbetar med barn i behov av särskilt stöd. I studien har vi använt oss av en kvalitativ forskningsintervju med öppet riktade frågor. Åtta stycken kvinnliga pedagoger i förskolan har intervjuats.Följande fyra problemställningar uttrycker syftet i studien: Hur uppfattar pedagogerna benämningen barn i behov av särskilt stöd? Hur uppfattar pedagogerna att de bemöter barn i behov av särskilt stöd? Hur uppfattar pedagogerna att de bedömer att barn är i behov av särskilt stöd? Och hur uppfattar pedagogerna att de arbetar med barn i behov av särskilt stöd? I undersökningen presenteras förskolepedagogernas tankar, uppfattningar och erfarenheter gällande barn i behov av särskilt stöd.
