Det här arbetet fokuserar på den profana och religiösa människans omedvetna arketypiska arv som vi fått genom myterna, och vidare på hur detta påverkar oss i särskilda situationer. Som exempel har jag fördjupat mig i terroristattacken mot World Trade Center den 11 september 2001.I min första del beskriver jag myterna och olika mytkriterier, hur de är uppbyggda och vad de innehåller. Gemensamt för de olika myterna visar sig vara kampen mellan kaos och ordning och/eller det onda och goda, där harmoni måste råda på det jordiska planet såväl som på det gudomliga. I denna del tar jag också upp tidens betydelse och hur både den profana och religiösa tiden är av cyklisk natur där nyåret och återupprepning av högtider är av stor vikt för den psykologiska bearbetningen och personliga existensen.I min andra del beskriver jag staden New York och dess betydelse för innevånarna själva och omvärlden, som en stad med grandios arkitektur som själv talar om sig som en stad som symboliserar absolut frihet, välgång och tillväxt. Jag beskriver också tvillingtornen i World Trade Center som en axis mundi, ett mänskligt strävande åt det gudomliga, i världens navel, den absoluta mittpunkten.

Tidigare studier visar att konsumenter i allmänhet har en positiv attityd till Fair Trade-produkter men att köpbeteendet av dessa produkter inte överensstämmer med den positiva attityden. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka relationen mellan svenska konsumenters attityd och köpbeteende gällande rättvisemärkt livsmedel samt undersöka vad som formar attityderna..

The ongoing construction of Kristianstad is a trade mall in the city center, the City Hall and the railway station neighborhood is rebuilding, new residential projects are planned and "The healthy garden", "Accessibility for everyone" and "ERA-farms" are also current. Kristianstad has always a sustainable way of thinking in the background during the development and they are trying to meet all three perspective of sustainability: economical, ecological and social. The “peer to peer” (P2P) is a technology of downloading and filesharing between online - Internet - users by the mean of specified software. Since June 1999, the Napster software has made the happiness of millions of individuals who used it to obtain and share free audio files Mp3. Rapidly, the major recording companies have prosecuted the Napster Company and managed to force it to close down. They were arguing against it for it is supporting the development on a large scale traffic of files protected by copyright and thus was threatening the whole music and movies economic world. Since fast Internet connections multiplied, "peer to peer" software and networks improved, so that this mode of exchange became an unprecedented success. Today all cultural products, in particular films and music, are concerned with this free –of– charge distribution without any financial counterpart for the copyright holders. Two tools hold today the top ranks and concentrate large traffic: eDonkey and eMule.

På senare år har ett nytt forskningsområde kring mikroskopiska plastfragment i marin miljö, kallat mikroplaster, vuxit fram. Mikroplaster härstammar från antropogena källor som avloppsreningsverk och vid fragmentering av makroplast. Det finns ett begränsat antal studier inom området, särskilt vad gäller svenska vatten, vilket innebär att det finns utrymme för mer forskning. För att bidra till forskningen har föreliggande studie undersökt sedimentprover från litoralen vid sju olika platser längs svenska västkusten samt ett sedimentprov från djupt vatten vid en av platserna. För att undersöka koncentration och distribution av mikroplaster utfördes korrelationsanalys längs den svenska västkusten mellan mikroplaster och två variabler; kornstorlek och salinitet.

Den här Uppstatsen undersöker hur ?media? kan överföra stigmatiserande rumsliga representationer av bostadsområden. Det område som denna studie fokuserar på är stadsdelen Gottsunda i Uppsala, där artiklar publicerade av Upsala Nya Tidning analyseras. Studiens syfte är att undersöka och analysera de mediala diskurser som finns kring Gottsunda, hur dessa påverkar den generella bilden samt i vilken grad detta kan bidra till rumslig stigmatisering av området. Detta görs utifrån en socialkonstruktivistisk ansats där kritisk diskursanalys används som metod för att analysera artiklar relaterade till Gottsunda.

Children's need of a good environment of playing outdoor at schoolyards is, both from a perspective of commonly public's health and from the children themselves, indisputable. Children who have a good and varying playground develop physically, psychologically and socially. As an instrument of pedagogic a playground also is valuable for example in teaching the round, periodical successions and understanding of democratic processes. The conception playground means here in my work the environment outdoor for children at schools up to about twelve years old. What is a good playground then? How is it possible for a landscape architect to contribute improvements? The purpose of my work has been to enlarge my knowledge about playgrounds, understand more of the profession as a landscape architect and apply a perspective of children in the planning. To sum up, the shaping of playgrounds has great importance for the activities of the children and if the teachers make use of it, the teaching. A good playground gives the delight, the excitement and the curiosity free spaces and stimulates new challenges.

The aim of this study is to investigate English teachers? communication when teaching English in grade three in Swedish schools. The investigation seeks to find out what language is, and why it is, dominant and how the proportions in the teachers? uses of English and Swedish in time are distributed. The study also describes what attitudes teachers have to the English language and if, if so how, two categories of strategies, namely body language and code switching are used.The study was performed in two steps with different methods for collection of qualitative empirical data.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate whether there is a correlation between attitude andbuying decisions of consumers regarding certified coffee. The study will examine whether marketsurveys measuring consumer?s attitudes, is a good method for predicting a purchasing decisionsregarding certified coffee.Method: To study consumer attitudes towards certified coffee, we have implemented a web-basedsurvey at Facebook. A total of 108 responses were recorded. To complement the Facebook study wehave conducted three surveys on persons who are customers at ICA.

The members of the OECD have agreed on giving aid assistance to developingcountries in a way of promoting their own capacity of handling the challengeof poverty and development. The members also cooperate and coordinate theiraid to recipient countries in the purpose of giving as effective assistance aspossible. The aid from these countries is often intended to human rights,democracy and has a humanitarian idea. This is the way from the OECDcountries. The Chinese way of giving aid mostly aimed at the industry of therecipient to promote the economic growth to lift the country out of poverty.The Chinese way do not aim or intend their aid at promoting human rights ordemocracy, often just industry and infrastructure.

Syfte: Syftet är att formulera en modell för etableringsprocessen av distributionskanal för svenska tillverkningsföretag av konsumentprodukter i Shanghai. Metod: Studiens syfte är explorativt och utgår från en abduktiv ansats. Datainsamlingen grundar sig på kvalitativ forskning. Vi har genomfört intervjuer med fallföretag och utvalda experter och genom litteraturstudier fått en teoretisk referensram att arbeta utifrån. Teoretiska perspektiv: Export agents, supply chain management, styrsystem, industriell marknadsföring, relationsmarknadsföring.

I mer än hälften av Sveriges sjöar innehåller gädda en kvicksilverhalt som övergår Food and Agriculture Organization?s (FAO) rekommendationer. Det kvicksilver som finns lagrat i svensk skogsmark är ett resultat av antropogent nedfall. Studier visar att kvicksilver utlakas vid skogsbruksåtgärder på hela skogsmarken som en följd av förhöjd rörlighet av dissolved organic carbon (DOC). En ökad metylering av kvicksilver sker vid vattenmättade, syrefattiga förhållanden där det finns tillgång till organiskt material.

In Swedish school library research, the role of the school library has seldom been studied in a subject-specific context. When it has been, the subject has usually been a theoretical subject such as Swedish or Social studies. The purpose of this master's thesis is to study what role or roles the school library can play in a different context, in the program-specific subjects at a trade oriented program in the Swedish upper secondary school, and to determine what factors affect the possibility for the school library to play a role in such a context. The Food Programme was selected as the specific program to be studied. In this program, the students learn a trade, in this case bakery, and the teaching in the program-specific subjects can be expected to be practical in nature.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the regulatory power, efficiency and impact of export control on Swedish arms export from the 1980s onwards, linked to the delegation of authority of permit license to the Inspectorate of Strategic Products in 1997. An increase in the administrative sector, based on a collective decision making process and established criteria and guidelines, aimed to strengthen the control of arms export to non-democratic and problematic states. In short, the aim of the study is to investigate and analyze whether there was a decrease in the arms export to problematic states or not. On one hand, it is reasonable to assume that the introduction of the new regulation entailed a more strict arms export policy. However, previous research has showed that regulations are sometimes not effective since incentives to breach these may be present.The study begins by examining the Swedish case and situation in terms of arms manufacturing and export, as well as the delegation of authority and legislation applied to the field over time.

This study is about trust for public institutions and what the foundation is that builds this confidence. For this study I have used three dependent variables to define different aspects of public institutions. These are trust in the legal system, trust in political parties and state of health services nowadays.  The method that is used in the study is based on a comparative study between two countries, Sweden and Portugal.  The actual result is made up by comparing means and regressions by using 13 independent variables. Many of the independent variables that has been used is deriving from institutional theories of Putnam and Rothstein These theories points out the importance of strong traditions of civic engagement and that the success of the trust of the institutions depends in large part on the horizontal bonds that make up social capital.
