Internationell forskning visar entydigt att den palliativa v?rden ?r oj?mlik baserat p? en rad sociala best?mningsfaktorer, som k?n, ?lder, etnicitet, socioekonomisk position, boendesituation med flera. Men i dagsl?get finns ingen forskning gjord i en svensk kontext. Dock finns tre nationella riktlinjer f?r palliativ v?rd av vuxna som v?nder sig till v?rdpersonal, beslutsfattare och politiker.

I denna undersökning har jag granskat de tre tal som kung Carl XVI Gustav, ärkebiskop K.G. Hammar och statsminister Göran Persson höll till minne av flodvågskatastrofens offer, i Stadshuset den 10 januari 2005. Av de tre talen var det främst kungens som satte spår i mitt med-vetande. Kungens tal hyllades också i pressen medan de andra talarna knappt nämndes.Undersökningens övergripande syfte blev därför att försöka utröna vad det är som gör att vissa tal berör och direkt fastnar i medvetandet medan andra glöms bort. Mer specifikt studerades detta genom att likheter och olikheter lyftes fram i de tre talen och i kontexten dessa hölls i.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att utröna om det går att urskilja några könsstereotypa mönster inom den straffrättsliga processen i våldtäktsmål. Min frågeställning är: Finns det någon förutbestämd mall över hur målsägande skall agera i den rättsliga tillämpningen av bestämmelserna om våldtäkt i 6:1 BrB, för att anses vara trovärdig? En grundläggande utgångspunkt i diskussionen är att föreställningarna om rätten uppställer de kriterier som skall gälla för rätten och den praktiska tillämpningen. Värderingar och föreställningar om rätten är därmed centrala för förståelsen av rätten och den juridiska processen. Jag har valt att rikta fokus mot den straffrättsliga processen rörande våldtäkt och centralt blir då även föreställningar om genus.

This paper deals with how seamen onboard merchant ships flying the Swedish flag apprehendthe culture, information and leisure possibilities that offer them by the Swedish GovernrnentSeamen's Service, HKF.The objective with this work is two folded: first of all suggest some actions to be taken inorder to improve the situation for seamen, based on the results from interviews with crewsonboard three merchant ships.Secondly, draw the attention to HKF's activity in general and to the activity of the SwedishSeamen's Library in particular, for people working within libraries.The result of this examination shows that people onboard really regards the service carriedout by HKF as very good in general, but there are some activities which hopefully can beimproved. However, perhaps the most important role can be played by the shipping companies,based on the wishes that came about from the seamen. These conclusions and discussion aredealt within chapter 8..

The purpose of this paper is to find out if technology within pedagogy can help pupils with dyslexiaperform on the same level as their peers without using compensatory aid. Is it possible to replacethe compensatory aids with the technology in question? Can the same technology also be used tosupport other pupils as well and in turn removing the stigma of needing compensatory aid?To learn the answers to these questions I have done a qualitative text analysis. This analysis focuson technology in the form of podcasts and Web 2.0 based teaching platforms. The analysis alsofocus on pupils with dyslexia and what kind of help compensatory aids can be.

The goal of this qualitative essay is to approach the knowledge of people who commit crimes. From a development psychology point of view, questions relating to childhood ang growth are some of the important subjects we choose to discuss. Our purpose is also to reveal the linkage between criminal behavior and different theories of the above mentioned perspective. To bridge the gap between the general and the individual, our survey was based on profound interviews with four inmates in prison. This offer an opportunity to capture the individual´s inner thoughts, feelings and experience about the criminal action.

Many researches have been done about the difficulties in teaching children with disabilities and like in this case dyslexia, which is the disability my essay is focused on. Earlier researches have investigated how and what teachers do practically when they have pupils with dyslexia and what help they have in their work. I wanted to investigate how the theories in National Compulsory School Curriculum (Lpo94) and about inclusive education in relation to the actual work in one Swedish school. My essay, with help of other research, has taken the expression ?school for all? and it?s meaning to what is possible to do in a real life work situation, with the assignments that schools have in Lpo94.

Humanity faces a major challenge with the climate and environmental crisis, largely driven by reckless recourse use and greenhouse gas emissions by corporations. The EU?s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) aims to standardise corporate sustainability reporting, making practices more transparent and comparable. This directive seeks to enhance sustainability practices and guide market forces towards sustainability, supporting the EU?s goal of net-zero emissions by 2050.

The main purpose is to illuminate how a company links certain values to its brand in an effort to achieve a competitive position. We have done this by studying the government owned company Svenska Spel and its entrance on the netpokermarket. With Corporate Social Responsibility as a guidance for the company they wanted to offer Swedish gamblers an alternative to the, often morally dubious, international actors. Our thesis has taken an internal (corporate) as well as an external (consumer) perspective on the result of this strive. Our conclusions are that although Svenska Spel is successfully integrating social responsibility into their netpokerbusiness, they are facing a difficulty in making the consumer fully appreciate it.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine what role the new city library in Halmstad has for its users. The questions posed in this study are: What do the users actually do at the library? What roles are the most significant according to the users? Have the politicians succeeded in their intention of realizing a modern library according to the users? The theoretical starting point is Andersson?s and Skot-Hansen?s theory of four different roles of public libraries. In order to extend the model we added a fifth function; the one of aesthetical experience.
