The exclusion of visually impaired from the information flow presented to us through signs was what led me into this project. With a growing amount of information being presented to us on signs and digital information surface the need of communicating this information in a way that could be read by visually impaired is evident. Looking into different ways of communication, my goal was to create something that filled the need of the visually impaired without branding them as disabled. Having a close relative with bad eyesight is became evident on how much it limited her in her everyday life, not being able to navigate herself without the support of her husband. Through interviews with her and others with varying diagnoses I reached an insight in their situation. To my surprise they still favored a visual form of communication before an auditory or tactile form, because it?s easy to survey and quick to interpret.

This thesis focuses on the freedom of religion or belief in a European context, in particular on the European court of human rights and article 9 in the European convention for human rights. Some criticism has been directed against the Court to the effect that its practice and verdicts don't answer to the pronounced desire to develop a pluralistic and inclusive form of freedom of religion or belief.My aim is to examine, analyse and test three different theories, which all try to develop alternatives to the expression freedom of religion or belief, in relation to six verdicts from article 9 in Europe convention. My basic purpose is to try to find new ways of talking about freedom of religion or belief that might lead to a more inclusive, pluralistic and equal interpretation of that concept.The three theories wich I use are elaborated by Richard Amesbury (associate professor at Claremont school of Theology); Hugo Strandberg (TD at Åbo Akademi) and Eberhard Herrmann (professor in philosophy of religion at Uppsala University); and Martha Nussbaum (professor of law and ethics at the University of Chicago). Evidence-based psychotherapeutic methods compete with each other, while meta-analysis have shown that variability due to different methods related to outcome is remarkably low. In this qualitative study six former patients were interviewed about experiences of method and technique in Affect-focused therapy, with a slight overweight towards unsatisfactory experiences. Responses were analysed and categorised in emergent themes. Methodological focus on affect showed to be a much appreciated, as well as insufficient, element. Alongside positive experiences or summaries of therapy, methodological Frames were felt to be at times restrictive, even invalidating, as far as not allowing focus on what was felt to be the more predominant need.

Den mest likvärda studie som har gjorts angående träningsprogram med slyngor för att stärka bålstabiliteten hos handbollsspelare med syfte att påvisa en prestationsökning i kasthastighet visar på signifikant effekt. Syftet med studien var att undersöka om ett sex veckors träningsprogram för bålstabilitet med träningsredskapet Func.Gym training bands gav en förbättrad kasthastighet hos manliga elithandbollsspelare.Två grupper användes i studien, en testgrupp bestående av sex testpersoner (n=6) med en medelålder på 22,3 år och en kontrollgrupp bestående av tre testpersoner (n=3) med en medelålder på 21 år. Back and forth is a study on wayshowing at events focusing on the Siesta festivalin Hässleholm. For several years the interest in festivals has increased, whichhas contribute to expansion among festivals. The Siesta festival in Hässleholm istoday one of the major festivals in Sweden, attracting 10 000 visitors each year.The festival?s strong expansion has contributed to disorientation in the festivalarea, because it has never been constant from year to year. A side effect of this isthat the orientation is a constant problem.Therefore this study aims to investigate how a clearer route guidance systems onthe Siesta Festival can be designed based on existing designprinciples onguidance and orientation and how the information can be accessable towheelchair users and those with some kind of colourblindness?Surveys among festival visitors and interviews with the festival organizers for thefestival showed which navigation strategies that are most used on festivals.

The following text constitutes an attempt to present the French philosopher Gilbert Simondon's genetic ontology through an account of his reconfiguration of the problem of individuation in his doctoral thesis from 1958, L'individuation à la lumière des notions de forme, information, potentiel, métastabilité. The intention is to show how Simondon through this reconfiguration of a classical philosophical problem ? in which concepts and schemas from contemporary physics and technology is utilised in a critique of the bi-polar hylomorphic schema as its traditional, substantialistic solution ? becomes able to articulate an anti-substantialistic and anti-reductionistic ontogenesis as first philosophy. A systematic philosophical conception that according to Simondon precedes every critical investigation of the subject as well as every scientific ontology ? not by establishing a pre-critical position, but by exceeding Kant's critical position: that is, through a displacement toward a conception of the transcendental conditions for the genesis of being and thought as real conditions, rather than conditions of mere possibility.

AbstractWorking as a lawyer demands not only legal skills, but also ethical ones due to the involvement with humans. The area of ethics is far from as regulated as the area of law is. The reasons for this are both historical ? as the area of ethics is, in comparison with the practice of law, a relatively new area, especially combined with the traditional work of lawyers ? and technical, since ethics is an area that seems difficult to regulate due to its adopting skills. Ethics looks different depending on which work area it addresses; who you ask; and in what situation it shall be enlightened.

Den här kandidatuppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur det amerikanska presidentvalet 2012 gestaltades i Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet, Aftonbladet och Expressen. För att göra detta har totalt 18 nyhetsdygn, uppdelade på två perioder, undersökts i de olika papperstidningarna. Sweden has an obligation to report child abuse suspicions to Social Services. According to Socialtjänstlagen (swedish constitution) 1 § Chapter 14, all employees in agencies affecting children, such as schools, have a responsibility to report their suspicions. Research shows that many abuses are not reported. The consequence of this is that Social Services does not hear about all cases of abused and harmed children. One profession where reporting is mandated is school counselors.

Målsättningen med arbetsmetoden där fixturer skapas med ModFix är att ledtiden och mantimmarna för att skapa fixturer ska reduceras med 50 % i jämförelse med Volvo Cars nuvarande arbetsmetod där fixturer skapas med Catia V5.ModFix-verktyget består av tre funktioner. Dessa funktioner är; Configuration Administrator, Fixture Designer och Modular Fixture Mapping Report. This critical examination of the concept of cultural heritage is based on an overall phenomenological approach, with focus on Alfred Schütz?s further development of Edmund Husserl?s idea of the lifeworld. With strong emphasis on the subjective and intersubjective dimensions, the concept of cultural heritage is contextualized, analysed and criticized from different aspects for the purpose of enriching the discourse of cultural heritage.A literature based methodology is used, including a hermeneutic analysis of theoretical texts in the field of cultural heritage studies and the new Swedish Culture Environmental Law (?Kulturmiljölagen?) and related bills. Qualitative interviews deal with people?s notions about the concepts of culture, cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage.
