Is accountability possible in global environmental governance? The purpose ofthis thesis is to examine if accountability is possible in global environmental governance. From an accountability perspective the thesis tries to illuminate global environmental governance. An investigation about the conceptaccountability is made and the thesis also illuminates the possible problems that exist in global environmental governance which exist of such a large amounts of different and often private actors. By investigating and examine the concept of accountability from different aspects and by using Global Compact as a example of global environmental governance the thesis try to answer if accountability actually exist in global environmental governance and in what way it is possible to demand accountability.

Vi har använt oss av semistrukturerade intervjuer med jurister, poliser och kvinnojoursaktiva för att utreda och analysera fenomenet olaga förföljelse. Det åsikter som framkom i intervjuerna har tolkats och analyserats utifrån den symboliska interaktionismen samt från Beckers (1997) begrepp outsiders och moraliska entrepenörer. Olaga förföljelse innehåller flera brottsrubriceringar, definitionen av olaga förföljelse är när en gärningsperson begår systematiska och upprepade handlingar mot en ett offer. Offret i sin tur upplever kontakten som oönskad, negativ och kränkande. Lagen är nystiftad och ger begränsad uppfattning om huruvida det är ett socialt problem.

The aim of this study is to describe ideas put forward by Sweden Democrats (Swedish: Sverigedemokraterna) about Christianity in Sweden and the Church of Sweden as a Folk Church, a church for a whole people, and how the political party uses Christianity as a part of constructing a Swedish identity. The investigation is based on official documents, newspaper articles, statements and political motions which are analysed using a form of text analysis called idea analysis. The theoretical frame of the investigation is founded on Claire Mitchell?s theory about religious content in ethnic identities and Einar Billing?s and Johan Alfred Eklund?s thoughts about what makes the Church of Sweden a Folk Church.The investigation shows, among other things, that the Sweden Democrats? view of the Church of Sweden is similar to the thoughts of Eklund but they differ in their lack of references to theology. The investigation also shows that Christianity serves as an important marker for the Sweden Democrats in creating a Swedish identity. .

The Stockholm Bypass is an infrastructural project planned to be located west of Stockholm. This study investigates the argumentation concerning the project from different perspectives. The theoretical starting point is within Decision Theory. The main theories include Bounded Rationality, Kingdon's study of the political agenda and theory regarding venue shopping, framing and lobbying. The method chosen for this qualitative case study consists of both gathering data through semi-structured interviews and through documents provided by stakeholders and information available publically through archives and media.

Denna uppsats kommer att fokusera kring en teori, stipulationsteorin, för identifikation över möjliga världar. Stipulationsteorin gör att vi kan veta vilka möjligheter vi pratar om. Genom att stipulera möjligheter så kan man identifiera vilka individer och vilka egenskaper dessa individer har i de möjligheter vi pratar om.En teoris ramverk är det som definierar vad teorin refererar till samt vad teorin kan göra. I litteraturen om transvärldslig identifikation så har jag funnit kritik av stipulation i form av problem.1 Dessa problem har betydelse för en värdering av stipulationsteorin. Genom att se teorier som att de bestäms av deras ramverk så kan man göra en uppdelning mellan interna och externa problem.

In advertising, the target has traditionally been aimed towards the product?s advantages.Today the trend is that the advertisers want to create a restless and unsatisfied consumer. Theconsumer on her part is not trying to achieve a goal with her consumption, but experiences theconsumption itself as a goal. Because of this the consumer demands a fast and variedselection.In order to sell their products the companies must create a non-existent need amongst theconsumers. Therefore it is very common in advertising today to use emotions instead ofinformation to attract the customers.

AbstractThe purpose of this study were to examine the appeal that reaches the county administrative court regarding cases within The law of support and service to some disabled (LSS) the third "alternative" with the effort personal assistant. We have gathered 280 cases from seven different county administrative court and from our selection 19 of the cases remained.These 19 cases became our starting point for our study and they have been interpreted through Foucault´s and Skau´s interpretation frame regarding power and Payne´s social constructivism to try and answer our three questions at issue: How are the cases being handled by the county administrative court? What kind of cases leads to appeal? What similarity and differences are there between the cases? These questions have been answered one by one in a systematical order. Our result shows, among other things, that cases that involve certificates from occupational therapist or physiotherapist are the cases that win against the municipality in the county administrative court. Further we have found a new theme in our study regarding clientification among them who apply for efforts within LSS and "alternative" three.

Systemutveckling har länge kantats av problem och oförmåga att möta nya problem och krav som uppstår under processen från ide till färdig produkt. För att möta de problem som de traditionella systemutvecklingsprojekten innebar så arbetade Ken Beck et. Al. (2001) fram det agila manifestet, det agila manifestet beskriver de kärnvärden som systemutvecklingsprojekt bör arbeta utefter, detta för att öka flexibiliteten och minska problemen med långa ledtider.SCRUM är en agil systemutvecklingsmetod som togs fram av Jeff Sutherland och Ken Schwaber, detta efter att de båda hade sett behovet utav en metod som klarade att möta snabba förändringar och att kunna möta problem under processens gång.För att undersöka hur hantering av problem i agila systemutvecklingsprojekt fungerar i praktiken har en fallstudie genomförts på ATS väst hos CGI.En stor del av problematiken i systemutveckling är distansen mellan de inblandade parterna, något som påverkar arbetsmetodiken. Detta resulterar i en mer omfattande dokumentation än vad den agila arbetsformen förespråkar och minskar även den personliga kommunikationen.

The purpose of this essay is to find out how two schools work with newly arrived children and to see how they differ. There is a lack of national directives for those who work with newly arrived children and teenagers; this makes the introduction very different between schools.The study is qualitative, based on interviews with four teachers in two different compulsory schools. One school is situated in a suburb of Stockholm and the other one is situated in a minor community in Dalarna. One schools got a preparatory class for newly immigrated pupils and the other school doesn?t.The theoretical frame that I have chosen to analyse these interviews are literature and research on Bilingualism, Children with PTSD, Intercultural Pedagogy and Special PedagogyMy results also show that these schools work very differently, and that there is very little co-operation within the school and with the units around the school, regarding these children.

Swedish students' knowledge of both mathematics and reading comprehension has deteriorated in recent years. Scientists are discussing whether there is a connection between these areas and that the pupils deteriorating math skills may have something to do with their increasingly lower results in terms of reading comprehension. To investigate this possible connection, I conducted a survey among students in ninth grade and have come to the conclusion that the scientists are right: this connection absolutely exist. Students who received a high score on tasks designed to test students' mathematical problem-solving skills, also received high results on the reading comprehension test. And students who received a poor performance on the problem-solving tasks, were also low performers in the reading comprehension test.

This thesis work has been performed on request by SWT (Scandinavia WeldTech AB). SWT manufactures, develop and sell ready to assemble building systems for concrete rafter beam applications. The beams in this system consist of a u-beam that is welded to a flange. To be able to fill the beams with concrete there is holes in the beams top end. The holes are made in a ?punching machine?.  These holes are cut out and the remaining steel piece is bent down in the u-beam.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att genom en enkätundersökning jämföra yrkesverksamma lärare och lärarstudenters syn på elever som faller utanför skolans normer. Bland dessa elever finns två handlingsmönster, dels de som är utagerande och dels de som är tysta och tillbakadragna under lektionstid. Våra frågeställningar var vad lärare och studenter anser kring hur problem uppstår runt elever, för vem det är ett problem samt hur de hanterar dessa problem. Den avslutande frågeställningen berör huruvida grupperna ser elevernas problem utifrån ett punktuellt eller relationellt synsätt. Lärarstudenterna uttrycker i större utsträckning en önskan att inkludera alla elever medan lärare verkar ha lättare att uppnå detta.

Detta arbete undersöker 4 olika algoritmer som används för bred kollisionsdetektering. De olika metoderna för bred kollisionsdetektering kan delas in i 4 olika kategorier. Algoritmerna som är valda att representera varje kategori är Bruteforce, Sweep and prune, Hierarchical grid och Bounding volume hierarchy. Fokus i arbetet ligger i att mäta deras lämplighet för spelmotorer där det är viktigt att algoritmerna kan köras i realtid.Algoritmerna körs i simulationer av olika miljöer. Där antalet objekt, hur många som är rörliga och objektens distribution varieras mellan miljöerna.

Purpose/Aim: This essay explores the framing and representation of pensioners in Swedish press during the period of 2002-2008. The aim was to investigate what meaning news give elderly people on the manifest level, and also what meaning the media texts construct on the latent level.Material/Method: For this paper I have investigated framing of pensioners using quantitative analysis of 100 news articles, followed by a qualitative hermeneutic analysis applied on the most frequent frames discovered in the quantitative study.Main results: Four frames were identified concerning pensioners: crime victims, heroes in daily dues, economically advantaged and economically disadvantaged. The dualistic result in the economy frame was investigated in the qualitative research. The study revealed that pensioners as a group may have good economic standards, although there are individual differences. Three stereotypes were discovered in the articles: ?kind granny?, ?fragile and miserable? and ?look what I can do?..

The study aims to shed light on the phenomenon of employeeship at a Swedish Staffing Agencise . This has been done on the basis of two questions. How can employeeship look like in a service? What is the role given employeeship in developing contexts? In order to answer the purpose and issues have a quantitative approach been used.
