The internet has fundamentally changed the way people communicate. With all the information that we are sharing over the internet, and the ways which companies want to use our information, the importance of keeping our private information secure has increased. This thesis aims to discover what attitudes internet users have against privacy on the internet, and what ? if anything ? they are doing to protect their personal privacy.We distributed an online survey to internet users in the Stockholm area, and conducted three interviews with persons in our target population. The results of these studies show that people in general are very aware of privacy concerns on the internet, but that their attitudes toward how important personal privacy on the internet is, differ somewhat..

Tandhygienistyrket grundades i början av 1900-talet och idag finns tandhygienister i över trettio länder och det är ett kvinnodominerat yrke. Den första tandhygienistutbildningen startade i Sverige 1968. År 1991 blev tandhygienistyrket en legitimerad profession. Syftet var att undersöka vilka kunskaper patienter i åldersgruppen 50 - 65 år har om legitimerade tandhygienisters yrkesroll samt patienternas attityder till tandhygienistbehandling. Frågeställningarna var "vilken kunskap har patienter i åldersgruppen 50 - 65 år om legitimerade tandhygienisters yrkesroll?" och "vilka attityder har patienter i åldersgruppen 50 - 65 år till tandhygienistbehandling?" Projektet genomfördes som en intervjustudie med kvalitativ metod.

Detta examensarbete är utfört på uppdrag av Bombardier Transportation i Västerås och är det avslutande momentet på civilingenjörsprogrammet ? Innovation, produktion och logistik vid Mälardalens högskola i Eskilstuna.I sin fabrik i Västerås tillverkar Bombardier Transportation strömriktare till tåg. Ett problem företaget har i dagsläget är att de saknar visuell styrning av produktionen. Eftersom många människor är involverade i produktionen är det viktigt att produktionsstatusen visualiseras. Detta för att samtliga involverade snabbt ska få en överblick av det aktuella produktionsläget.

The student union of Karlstad University is always working for the better for the students, so they can feel safe and that their time at the university is trouble free. To get the students to sign up for a membership, the organization have to inform the students about their work and the benefits that a membership brings. The problem is that the target audience is broadbecause there are all students at Karlstad University that are of different sexes, ages and nationalities, this can cause problems when the information must be adapted to each individual in order to make it interesting. The organizations various work areas have not reached the entire audience and therefore requires an information film in which all the areas can be presented in an attractive way that makes it easy for the audience to absorb the information. A strong trend in the world of information films are the so called infographics.

Detta examensarbete genomförs vårterminen 2009 i samarbete med Mälardalens högskola och Ankarstiftelsen. Det omfattar 30 högskolepoäng och är på avancerad nivå inom produkt- och processutveckling.Ankarstiftelsen är en ideell organisation som bedriver verksamhet i främst Brasilien, Colombia och Peru. Organisationen grundades 1996 och arbetar med utsatta samhällsgrupper, bygger skolor i behövande områden et cetera.Projektets främsta uppgift är att ta fram adekvat förvaringsmöjlighet för att ge invånarna i byn Puerto Rico (Colombia) förbättrad levnadsstandard. För att identifiera problemet sker inledningsvis en förstudie där en informationsinsamling svarar på vilken miljö det rör sig om, vilka användarna är, hur de löser problemet i dagsläget, vilka speciella behov som finns och vart tillverkning kan ske. Detta följs av en kartläggning av liknande produkter för att få en uppfattning om hur liknande problem löses.

Det finns flera studier som visar att text och bild i samverkan är bra för inlärningen och förståelsen. Men att bara lägga till bilder i ett textmaterial eller tvärtom, garanterar ingen förbättring. Hur kan text och bild samverka från ett kognitionsteoretiskt perspektiv i en produktinformation för att öka förståelsen om funktioner i ett komplext system? Det är frågan jag ställer mig i denna studie och avgränsar mig till att analysera en broschyr om internsystemet PERFEKT. Broschyren är framställd av Tjeders som marknadsför och tillverkar komponenter inom bland annat vård och omsorg.

Föreliggande systematiska litteraturstudies syfte var att inhämta information om och evidensgradera sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsåtgärder hos patienter med MS. Artiklar söktes ur databasen Electronic Libary Information Navigator (ELIN) via biblioteket på Högskolan Dalarna. Sökorden ?multiple sclerosis? och ?quality of life? användes. Artiklarna kvalitetsgranskades efter granskningsmallar med 28 bedömningskriterier därefter evidensgraderades artiklarna med hjälp av en tillämpad granskningsskala (Batshevani, 2008).

Family members need a great deal of support during palliative care. It is vital for the family that nursing contacts are accessible all day and night. The nurse can support the family members by sharing a professional knowledge and adapt the information to the recipient, by being present and also encourage them by not only focus on death. The support should be adapted to each individual and also have the possibility to be adjusted in each case. The aim of the study was to illustrate family members experiences of support in a late stage of palliative care.

The questions posed are: - How did the communication between SAS, media and citizens function during the crisis? - How did senders, intermediaries and beneficiaries experience the information and communication during the crisis? - How important was the internet communication for SAS, media and citizens during the crisis?The collected material consists of interviews and desktop research of material from Internet.The study shows that the communication between SAS, the media and citizens worked well on the social medias but was weaker in all other mediachannels. SAS was also weak in following up information received by media and travelers, and they therefore they had a different picture of the situation during the crisis. Due to the wide usage of different databases administrated by the Swedish government to keep control over its citizen?s the issue has arisen concerning if this information is subject for other purposes then originally acknowledged. Executives induced in recruitment for labour has over the years extended their need for information accumulated by these systems. Especially data from the criminal records registry are now being used as a normal step in the employment process among a vastly growing spectrum of enterprises and businesses all over the country. This thesis aims to illuminate the subject by grasp to what extent the described behaviour can be considered legally accepted according to the law or if these actions are inflicting with the foundational juridical principles that has to be ensured by the Swedish government due to our constitutional law.A strict jurisprudential method has been applied throughout the entire thesis to ensure the reliability of the results. The diversity of sources has gently been put together to assure the overall quality.

Jag har i detta examensarbete analyserat behovet av väg- och trafikinformation i samband med skogstransporter och jämfört behovet med den information som Vägverket tillhandahåller. Arbetet har utförts på uppdrag av Vägverkets ITS-sektion, den avdelning som ansvarar för Vägverkets uppdrag att öka användningen av IT i trafiken. Målet med arbetet har varit att undersöka hur väg- och trafikinformation kan bidra till bättre skogstransporter och bättre trafik. Syftet har varit att ta reda på hur en perspektivväxling mellan trafik och transport påverkar tjänsteutvecklingen när det gäller väg- och trafikinformation. De metoder jag har använt har varit kvalitativa intervjuer, litteratur- och dokumentstudier samt komponenterna problem- och målanalys i metoden Förändringsanalys enligt FA/SIMM.

Vi undrade hur arbetsprocessen för att översätta ett företags identitet till en grafisk identitet såg ut och vad som krävdes för att den skulle kommunicera det företaget ville. För att kunna göra detta gjorde vi en teoretisk del och en praktisk del. Den teoretiska delen baserades på litteraturstudier samt intervjuer. Denna information blev grunden till den praktiska del som bestod av en kommunikativ plattform och en grafisk manual till företaget. Genom att arbeta oss genom hela processen kom vi fram till att det viktigaste för att skapa en bra visuell identitet var att skaffa sig kunskap om företaget, vad dom ville förmedla och hur konkurrenssituationen såg ut.
