Det undersöks ochanalyseras i minst tre läroböcker som används i grundskolan i Sverige. Kursplanengällande religionskunskap i grundskolan ska studeras och den ska jämföras medböckernas innehåll.Genussystemet av Yvonne Hirdman och diskursanalys av Göran Bergström, KristinaBoréus och Michel Foucault står i centrum för mina teorier. Hirdman analyserarmaktprocesser, det vill säga dikotomi där det manliga inte blandas med det kvinnliga ochhierarkin som visar vad normen är. Bergström och Boréus säger att det finns ettregelsystem som visar människor vilket sätt de ska prata och agera på.

The scope of this investigation is the conditions under which readings of Repulsion (1965), and its depicted mental illness, took place in Sweden during the censorship debates in 1965, and also how the reception was related to narration and subjectivity in the film. The reason for this is the strong reactions to the images of the main character?s inner state, and concerns about negative effects in the public, that were raised. One major concern is how the film articulates discourses through which meanings are produced; that is, how it works as social technology. My thesis is therefore structured around two levels; textual analysis and discourse analysis.

Knut Wicksell var en briljant ekonom som främst visade på nya tillämpningar på andras ekonomiska teorier. Med min uppsats visar jag på en koppling mellan utilitarismen och nymalthusianismen, teorier som Wicksell var en stor anhängare av, som resulterar i en ekonomisk teori som går att koppla till det som den franske filosofen och idéhistorikern Michel Foucault kallar biopolitik. Statens roll bör enligt Wicksell vara att förädla individerna; att genom politiska åtgärder förbättra de enskilda individernas livskvalitet samt deras kvalité som producerande samhällsmedborgare.På ett praktiskt plan handlar det om att medvetandegöra individernas möjlighet till kapitalbildning och därmed ge de möjligheter att lyfta sig själv upp ur fattigdom och misär. Vägen går genom kunskap och barnbegränsning; dessa två faktorer ger individen ett större värde inom samhället eftersom han inte lika lätt går att byta ut samtidigt som det ger staten en tydlig och viktig uppgift; staten ska skydda befolkningen från smärta och orätt. Dessa syften för stat och medborgare leder, tillsammans med en ökad kunskap, till kapitalutjämning inom samhället.

This paper is named ?The status of the programme is low? ? Gymnasium teacher?s thoughts and attitudes towards students in the vocational- and the educational programmes. The purpose is, as the title reveals, to examine the attitude of four teachers in the Swedish gymnasium towards the vocational and the educational programmes and the students that attend either one of them. This purpose is accompanied by research which says that the educational programmes? status is higher than one of the vocational programmes.

Knowledge organization is perceived as a central, constituting activity defining the notion of libraries. Critique calling for a new theoretical foundation voiced by active researchers within library and information science concerning the current knowledge organization has been utilized as a point of departure. Specifications concerning a new theoretical foundation implied by these critiques are considered within this thesis and theory found in The Order of Things by Michel Foucault proposed as an alternative theory for understanding knowledge organization as a human science where meaning, value and representation, by which the ordering of things is possible, is acknowledged as a result of human activity and history. Thus meaning, value and representation must be perceived as dynamic. An example of implementation of the proposed theory has been achieved by the use of bibliometrics.

Historically the library has owned more than silent, book-filled halls; it has been a center for learning and ideas, a source of both freedom and oppression, in other words, a medium for knowledge, truth, and power. Cultures have been divided into powerful and powerless through access to the library's content; those who have - and those who do not have - access to information determine which voices are heard and which are ignored, thus determining the outcome of the future. This thesis investigates how The Book That Wouldn't Burn by Mark Lawrence portrays the relationship between knowledge and power using Michel Foucault's discourse theory. More specifically, how this relationship is manifested through the structures and norms of society, and how the library as a place and institution serves as the means by which this relationship plays out. An established classic like Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury is placed as a contrasting reference point to help deepen its thematic message of information control and cencurship. Furthermore, the agency of one of the main characters is also examined in the light of Anthony Giddens' stratification model, as an actor with the potential to move beyond the confines of the power structure. The analysis demonstrate how knowledge, truth, and power remain continuously thematically relevant within literature, and how the reality of our time may be better understood through literary contributions.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the female experience as it is spoken of in the novel Sindhia written by Rut Hillarp (1954) and how the main character in the book violates the experience from a queer perspective. My aim is to through a close reading highlight a number of discourses that underpin the book's imminent theme of love and submission.According to Norman Faircloughs critical-discourse analysis, the text one reads produces a certain amount of discourses that one consumes. This way there is a dialectical interaction that can be set into a practical analysis together with a suitable academic perspective. This is the method I use in this thesis.The academic perspective I add isJudith Butler's queer theoriessupported by Michel Foucaults social genealogyin order to understand/analyze the woman?s position in relation to a social empirical history.I came to the conclusion that Sindhia produces the woman's discourse from an ancient biblical/ mythological time up to modern time.

The background of this paper is the dual role that the social worker can have, of beeing both supportive and controlling in the meeting with clients. It is also about the power the social worker can have, how they handle the power in their profession and how they remain to it in the relationship with the client. The study is qualitative and built on interviews with eight social workers that work in different areas in the social services. We have chosen to see this dual role as if the social workers have to, in their daily work, handle the roles as one authority role and one supportive role towards the client.The purpose of this study is to understand how the dual role as the social worker has in the profession, as a helper and a authority, is expressed in the work and relationship with the client. We have turned this purpose into two questions: How do social workers with authority remain to the dual roles of the profession? How do the social workers describe and understand power?We don´t want to generalize in this study, we want to give an example of the social workers own experiences about the dual role.

This study aims to investigate the political reformation of the psychiatric care in Sweden, that took place 1995. The main purpose is to illuminate the transformation of subjectivity for mentally ill people after the reform 1995. The group of people which are present in the study are those who former were subjects of care in psychiatric hospitals, but with regarding to the reform have moved out from the institutions and instead become clients for community care. This new group of mentally ill people became, in connection with the reform, subjects for a new concept psykiskt funktionshinder. This new label and concept, that were attached to the present group, is the main concept for the investigation in the present study. The method, that was used in the study, develops a textual based analysis of the official documents, that were produced in connection with the political decision to reform the care of mentally ill people. With a theoretical conceptuality taken from Michel Foucault, with concepts such as discourse, power, and subjectivity, are the documents analysed in order to illuminate how the new subjectivity, under the concept of psykiskt funktionshinder arise.

Kvinnor utsatta för våldtäkt är en patientgrupp som riskerar att fara illa i mötet med hälso- och sjukvården. Bristen på kunskap och erfarenhet hos sjuksköterskor, så väl som vårdinrättningars brist på rutiner, skapar utrymme för sjuksköterskornas egna värderingar vilket kan medföra att kvinnan upplever en fortsatt kränkning. Studien syftade till att belysa sjuksköterskors omvårdnadsstrategier i mötet med kvinnor utsatta för våldtäkt, ett område i vilket kunskapen är begränsad. Foucaults arbeten om makt utgjorde utgångspunkt för analys och struktur av data. En hypotes formulerades; maktförhållande finns i varje relation.

Research has shown that the power and inequality in the relation between helper andperson being helped is needed for the helper to provide help. Power is often mentioned undernegative circumstances such as social workers abuse of their power position, violating theperson being helped. However, Michel Foucault suggests that power is something neutral thatexists in every social interaction. The negative aspects of power are effects of the parties notreaching agreement.

Sarah Kane?s first play Blasted (1995) has often been read in a normative and biographical way by critics, authors and previous researchers. This essay makes a supplementary close reading of Blasted from gender and genealogical perspectives and utilizes theoretical works by Judith Butler, Luce Irigaray and Michel Foucault. My study makes clear that the characters different positions in language and talk create and maintain a power imbalance between them. Efforts to change and develop one?s individual position in language and talk are being made throughout the play since it is the only way to bring about a change in the social power structure.

Organisationskultur är det arbetsklimat och de arbetssätt som företag skapar utifrån sina värderingar och visioner. En central aspekt av organisationskultur är att förmedla företagets värderingar och få medarbetare att göra värderingarna till sina egna, för att på så sätt förbättra företagets produktivitet och resultat. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur strategier för att förmedla organisationskultur på en arbetsplats kan skapa motivation och samtidigt styra de anställda. För att undersöka detta genomfördes en kvalitativ studie på ett rekryteringsföretag, där tio semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med anställda på olika positioner. Fokus låg på att få en helhetsbild av företagets kultur och arbetssätt för att se hur dessa kan motivera och styra de anställda.
