Self-destructive behaviour is a more and more occurring phenomenon in today?s society and there are mostly young girls who are affected by this behaviour. There are different explanations to why the phenomenon appears. The purpose of this research essay is to give a literature overview of the phenomenon of self-harming behaviour of young girls. Two research questions have been used to study this phenomenon; How can groups of friends contribute to reinforce an identity with the self-destructive behaviour among young girls? How can Internet contributes to reinforce an identity with the self- estructive behaviour among young girls? For the analysis this research essay uses the social constructive theoretical perspective.

The purpose of the study is to observe how the participants of the study interacted musically through verbal, non-verbal and musically resonant expressions. Verbal communication was expressed in discussion of the music's tempo and to clarify for ensemble participants from where they we?re going to play and sing. Non-verbal communication could be used to gesticulate an instrument or a melody. For example, the movement of a hand could symbolize notes on a musical stave to indicate the notes placements.

Forum för levande historia och Brottsförebyggande rådet genomförde 2004 en studie bland 10 600 skolungdomar för att undersöka deras tolerans. Resultatet av undersökningen visade att det fanns en relativt stort grupp intoleranta skolungdomar i Sverige. Syftet med min studie är att undersöka intoleransen bland årskurs nio eleverna på min partnerskola, samt om deras eventuella antisemitiska åsikter kan förändras genom att besöka ett koncentrationsläger och träffa en före detta lägerfånge, för att sedan jämföra mitt resultat med Brå:s Intoleransrapport. Studien grundar sig på enkäter som har delats ut till årskurs nio eleverna samt en del intervjuer med samma elever. Resultatet av studien visar tydliga tecken på att studiebesök fungerar som ett bra komplement till den vanliga undervisningen, då både andelen förintelse förnekare och intoleranta elever har minskat i och med besöket.

AbstraktThe purpose of this study is to examine how Swedish politicians and textbooks in social science choose to describe communism, this in order to see if there is a main discourse that controls what communism is associated with. The study is structured by the following question: How does Swedish politicians and textbooks choose to describe communism, is there a main discourse that controls how language is used? The method chosen for the analysis is discourse analysis. Chain analogy is used to structure the studied texts discursive content. Four textbooks in social science are analyzed and a number of public government documents that contains discussions about communism and the agency Forum för levande historia.The analysis shows that there is a clear discourse among leading politicians that dictates that communism is to be associated with a spectrum of negative words and concepts, but when it comes to the textbooks there isn?t an equally clear discourse and the textbooks differ among themselves in general content.

Will the discourse in a country effect the way an event is presented in the media? And will the event be presented in similar ways in different countries? These are the questions my paper aims to answer. By using critical discourse analysis I have analyzed the reporting of the Iraqi War in three big newspapers; one from USA, one from Sweden and one from Great Britain. The results show that the discourse in each country play a big part in how the news get presented in the media, and this is shown in how the news gets reported. The three countries had three different views on the same war.

The main focus for this essay is to describe the relationship between human and nature through a material investigation that takes its shape through sculpture. With the help of a fairytale-like story the reader can share the creation of the sculpture and how my thoughts flow through the process that will result in an exam project. Rooted in earlier projects I discuss the crash between civilization and the wilderness as well as talking about the likeness of the creative process and child play. I also discuss the body's place in the forest and the loneliness that we humans created that has cut us off from the rest of the creatures and plants in the forest. My aim is that in the final piece I will create a fiction place where these can be joined together again.

The aim of this littrature review has been to describe how you can satisfy the need of nourishment for older people who suffer from dementia. Data has been retrieved by searches in Academic Search Elite, Sience Direct, Blackwell, PubMed and in the Journal Vård i Norden. The studies show that most of the people with dementia have a hard time to satisfy the nourishment. The results show that through different preventive measurement you can improve the nourishment for these people, to set the table, play calm music and to have a table companion. By taking the food oneself created a good meal environment and the individually need was provided for.

Uppsatsen ämnar att behandla och beskriva varför platsen för den nya arenan för Djurgården Fotboll är så viktig utifrån supportrarnas perspektiv och var de anser att den bör ligga. För att nå denna målsättning har jag studerat olika forum för att se hur supportrarna har argumenterat i arenafrågan från 2006 fram till 2011. Jag har utöver detta även kompletterat med två stycken intervjuer med supporteranhängare till föreningen . There is a shortage of organs available for donation worldwide. There have been several campaigns to try to increase the numbers of registrered donors. The topic has been brought to the forefront but more work is still needed to distribute information to the public.The aim of this literature review was to examine what influences people in their decision to donate their organs or not, and what role nurses play in providing the most current information available. The study found that there was several different reasons given for not donating their organs. A great number of people were convinced that their religion was against organ donation.

The aim of this Master's thesis is to analyze the relation between the discursive formation and the optical formation in the public library-apparatus. An ongoing individualization process in the library field and in society at large is used as a backdrop in the analysis. Discourse analysis is used as a method to explore the main Swedish library periodicals Biblioteksbladet, Bibliotek i Samhälle and DIK-forum. All issues from the years 1999 and 2009 have been used as material. The main analytical instruments applied in the analysis of this material are Michel Foucault's terms dispositive, apparatus and diagram.

I denna fallstudie av Region Skåne undersöks uppkomsten av nya forum för samarbete i samband med regionbildning. För att undersöka detta använder vi oss av tre politiskgeografiska begrepp. I Skåne har kommunerna delats upp i fyra samverkansorgan i vart och ett av regionens fyra hörn, detta för att kunna hävda de egna intressena gentemot regionen. Kommunerna i varje hörn har olika grad av beroende till regionen och undersökningen visar att ju större beroendet är desto mer integrerat blir samarbetet inom det egna samverkansorganet.För att skapa en förståelse för ämnet ges en kort presentation av hur regionaliseringsprocessen har sett ut i Europa, Sverige och Skåne. Materialet till analysen utgörs främst av intervjuer och rapporter där vi fokuserar på tillväxt- och utvecklingsfrågor.

Vårt arbete handlar om hur elever uppfattar elevinflytande i skolan samt om de har något inflytande i skolan. Tidigare forskning har visat att elever får inflytande i skolan, fast det är oftast väldigt begränsat, om det ens existerar. Klassråd och elevråd är platser som eleverna anser att de har inflytande på. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ metod med teckningar och intervjuer i vår undersökning. Det är 16 elever som är med i studien och alla går i årskurs 3.

In my study I have chosen to examine the mathematics in children's free play and everyday situations, with focus on sorting and classification. The purpose of the study was to see how children express their mathematical knowledge. I have chosen to use a qualitative method in my examination, here I did observations in a children's group where the children were between three and six years old. I also did interviews with the teacher's on the department to see how they relate to the mathematics and how they formulate the department to achieve as good a learning environment as possible.The result shows that the teacher's approach is incredible important to the children's learning ability and that they are always present to challenge and discuss together with the children. The observation indicates that children use mathematics all the time in their everyday situations and that it is the interaction between individuals and environment that affects children's development. .

Syftet med undersökningen är att se hur elevers kost ser ut i skolan. Vi vill veta hur olika skolor arbetar med elevers kostintag. De frågor vi ställer är, vad skolan serverar för mat och vem det är som bestämmer vad som ska serveras. Hur kan måltidsverksamheten se ut på två olika skolor i två olika kommuner? Vilka riktlinjer och mål finns beträffande skolmåltider och kost på skolan? Hur kan pedagoger göra kosten till en del av det dagliga skolarbetet? Hur arbetar pedagogerna med kosten på de skolor vi undersökt? För att få svar på våra frågeställningar genomförde vi intervjuer med kostansvarig, rektor och måltidspersonal och pedagog- och elevenkäter på två skolor i två olika kommuner i Skåne.

Detta arbete går ut på att jag, i ett antal improvisationer, undersöker möjligheten att spela utan att tänka på, reflektera över eller värdera det jag spelar. De frågor och funderingar jag kommer att utgå ifrån är: * Kan jag spela utan att reflektera över detta jag spelar?* Kan jag spela utan att värdera det jag spelar? * Hur påverkar dessa försök och förhållningssätt mitt musicerande i olika spelsituationer? Dessa frågor försöker jag besvara genom att med olika ramar och utgångspunkter göra undersökningar genom att improvisera och samtidigt dokumentera detta. Efter varje improvisation noterar jag hur jag upplevde situationen och jämför sedan detta med hur det lät och såg ut.
