Syftet med detta arbete är att studera orsakerna till varför alltfler elever tycker att matematiken är tråkig under grundskolans senare del. Finns det något gemensamthos dessa elever? Hur kan man motverka att de drabbas av "mattetristessen"? Det är dessa två frågor detta arbete berör. Metoden som använts är dels en kvantitativ som består av elevenkäter men även en kvalitativ del där jag har intervjuat tio elever. Dessutom har en litteraturstudie bedrivits.

Syftet med denna studie är att ge en bild av vad som motiverar till användandet av nätdejtingtjänster och om denna motivation skiljer sig mellan kön, ålder eller de som betalar eller inte betalar för sin nätdejting. Vi ville även se om denna tjänst gav användaren något mervärde gentemot den traditionella kontaktannonsen. För att uppnå detta syfte har vi, genom en kvantitativ metod, samlat på oss information, given nätdejtare, med hjälp av en webbundersökning. Denna undersökning baserades på tidigare forskning kring motivation till Internetanvändning. De svar vi fick analyserades och jämfördes sedan mot teorier kring Internetanvändning.

Making decisions have always been part of human life. Political decisions consist of many participants with both formal and informal ways to highlight problems and reach the political agenda. Processes difficult for an individual to distinguish and understand surround political decision-making. The purpose of this study is to investigate the decision process for a specific political issue, Swedish wine producers' desire to be able to sell their own wine at their vineyard; gårdsförsäljning. This is currently prohibited in the Swedish model due to an alcohol monopoly.

Förr i tiden producerades musik med analog hårdvara och datorer användes inte i någon vidare utsträckning. På 80-talet introducerades datorer och nu produceras nästan all musikmed hjälp av datorer. Denna uppsats belyser om, och i så fall hur, införandet av datorer i musikproduktion har påverkat musikproducenter i deras arbete i vardagen. Vi har intervjuat ett antal musikproducenter för att se hur deras användande av datorer i sina arbetsuppgifter har förändrat, förbättrat och försämrat deras arbete. Undersökningenhar genomförts med avstamp i ett sonderingssamtal med en musikproducent på en musikstudio i Malmö för att sedan mynna ut i semistrukturerade intervjuer med fem musikproducenter.

En studie av pedagogers arbete med matematik (Is Mathematics playful? A study on pedagogues' math teaching), Lärarutbildningen; Malmö högskola. Denna uppsats har som syfte att ta reda på hur pedagoger i skolan planerar och genomför sin undervisning i matematik. Utgår pedagogen från elevens erfarenheter och tankar eller utgår pedagogen endast från ?matteboken? när de planerar och genomför undervisningen? I uppsatsen kommer vi att undersöka vilket material som främst används i undervisningen och vad det är som påverkar pedagogernas val av material och hur de planerar sin undervisning så att den blir så lustfylld så möjligt? Till vår undersökning har vi valt att intervjua pedagoger på två olika skolor i södra Sverige. Antalet intervjuer blev totalt fem stycken.

In this essay, I have interviewed four pedagogues from three preschools whit different pedagogical purposes. The purpose was to find out how they work with mathematics outdoor. In addition to interviews, I have conducted observations at each preschool. The different preschools are one traditional, one Reggio Emilia and one ?all weather? (Friluftsfrämjandet) preschool.

The aim of this thesis is to look for signs of students? understanding of algebra by studying how they make the transition from arithmetic to algebra. Students in an Upper Secondary class on the Natural Science program and Science and Technology program were given a questionnaire with a number of algebraic problems of different levels of difficulty. Especially important for the study was that students leave comments and explanations of how they solved the problems. According to earlier research, transitions are the most critical steps in problem solving.

The aim of this study is to highlight the computer as a learning resource in the education and give us knowledge about how the students uses the computer in year one in a selected High School where one computer per student were introduced in autumn 2011. The aim is also to contribute to the discussion about how the computer can become a natural learning resource for all students in all subjects, including the students in need of special support.How are the High School students using the computer?Are there differences in computer use, whether the student is in academic or vocational program?Are there differences in computer use between boys and girls?Do the student experience that the digital competence is increasing together with if they experience the computer as aid?In what degree do the teachers encourage the students to use the computer?How much do the students use the computer to learn mathematic?The study is based on a survey of all students in year one in a municipal High School.The result of the study is showing that the students first of all use the computer to play music, surf the Internet and to be logged in on social media (eg. Facebook). The students have learned to use the computer for the tasks they need, although the teachers don?t encourage the students to use the computer in any higher means, not in mathematics and not in other subjects.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to contribute with knowledge regarding the connection between the socialization process and the organizational commitment perceived by junior accountants. Based on Van Maanen and Schein's (1979) model, we intend to identify and describe how selected socialization strategies affect junior accountants? perceived affective, continuous and normative commitment during the initial five years in the firm.Research methodology: Semi-structured interview was chosen as the key approach for gathering essential data. Interviews were conducted at three major accounting firms with a total of eight interview participants. The study has a qualitative approach because of the ability to go in depth on the studied phenomenon.Conclusion: The socialization process consists of individual, informal, sequential, fixed, serial, and investiture strategies.

We have carried out a study of a classification system for the Swedish collection at The Royal Library in Stockholm from 1887. It was printed in 50 copies. The constructor, Bernhard Lundstedt, and his colleagues used it as guidance in lack of a catalogue. We regard it a local classification system. Little research has been done on old classification systems, but Francis Miksa points out the importance of examining them.

Care and solicitude about Swedish documentary heritage has varied substantially throughout the years. The main purpose of this essay has been to investigate what efforts have been made to preserve rare book collections at public libraries. These cultural policies have been studied from both a national as well as local perspective. What we have tried to explore can be condensed into three questions: What national initiatives have been taken in the past century to preserve the municipal documentary heritage?What initiatives have been taken in the past century to preserve thedocumentary heritage of what is presently the municipality of Jönköping? What value do rare book collections at public libraries represent? The results indicate few national efforts were initially made to preserve rare book collections in the timeframe we studied.

Denna rapport handlar om hur man som lärare kan variera undervisningen i matematik med en fokusering på laborativ matematik. Den riktar sig främst mot gymnasiet men är även aktuell för både för yngre och äldre åldrar. Rapporten behandlar lärares och elevers syn på undervisning samt ger konkreta förslag på hur sådan undervisning kan gå till. Syftet med rapporten är att undersöka vad det finns för alternativ till traditionell undervisning och presentera dessa. Metoden som använts är intervjuer där jag tagit kontakt med lärare som är kända för att använda alternativa undervisningsmetoder och laborativ matematik.

This study examines patterns of consumption during the 1780s in Öjaby and Virestad parishes. I have examined the clothes and jewelry in estate inventories using the concept of status. Then I have used Pierre Bourdieu's theories to understand fashion mechanisms.I have identified five different groups, each distinguished by their formal wear. Men have similar clothes but in Virestad they have more items and more silver. Four people were divergent, they choose other materials and models.

Kunden kan idag bestämma och skräddarsy sin produkt efter ett antal standardiserade variabler. I denna process som vi kallar konfigureringsprocessen kan det uppstå flera problem. Dessa problem är ofta användbarhetsproblem till exempel navigeringsfunktio-ner, tvetydig information med mera, uppstår oftast i systemets gränssnitt med kunden. Vi kom fram till följande problem: - Innehåller konfigurationsprocessen problem som motsäger väletablerade användbarhetsdefinitioner?- Hur och i vilken grad påverkar konfigureringsprocessens/gränssnittets utform-ning användbarheten för kunderna? Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka eventuella användbarhetsproblem på e-handelssystem som tillhandahåller tjänster för konfigurerbara produkter.
