Eutrophication of the Baltic Sea and Swedish lakes remains a major problem despite many years of effort to reduce the emissions of nutrients. One major source is waste water systems, especially private sewage systems. These sewages accounts for a very large share of nutrients per capita in comparison with citizens connected to larger sewage treatment plants. Norrtälje community has the greatest number of private sewage systems in Sweden. Discharges of nutrients, especially phosphorus, to the Baltic Sea from these sewage systems are significant.

During the period after the Second World War Sweden underwent a quick transformation due to a strong economic development. Decades-long rule for the Social Democratic Party now led to the creation, in Sweden, of a modern welfare state. This period in Swedish history is often considered to be the time when ?the Swedish model? was formed. Tage Lindbom (1909?2001) was a historian and intellectual in the Swedish labor movement.

During 2009-2010 Sweden participated in an international military operation whose intention, according to the Swedish news media, was to fight Somali pirates. The purpose of this thesis is to study various decisions and documents behind the Swedish efforts, both military and foreign aid, regarding the matter of Somali pirates during the years 2009-2010 and analyze the results using an interpretation of the security-development-nexus-theory. The method used is text analysis based on the hermeneutic idea of understanding and interpretation.The thesis studies the international resolutions and national decisions that lead to the military operations in the Gulf of Aden and also the international strategies and national approaches regarding Sweden's assistance in the development of Somalia. The theoretical section contains an interpretation of the vast security-development-nexus-theory. The concepts of security and development are first presented separately and then collectively in terms of military security, societal security, economic security, regime security and human security.

Vilka konsekvenser medför användandet eller icke-användandet av expertskatten för företagen?Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka hur svenska multinationella företag använder sig av expatriering som kompetensförsörjning och i det perspektivet utreda huruvida expertskatten fungerar i förhållande till dess syfte.Metod: En tvärsnittsundersökning genomfördes vid insamling av det empiriska materialet. Primärdata samlades in med hjälp av intervjuer från tre undersökningsföretag. Viss kompletterande sekundärdata har även bidragit till undersökningen.Slutsatser: Vid de tillfällen då företagen inte kan tillgodose sitt kärnkompetensbehov på en lokal marknad är expatriering en metod att tillgå. Expatriering leder då till en kunskapsförflyttning över de nationella gränserna.

Many companies have historically forced their interests through without any thoughts about the future needs of the humans and the society. In the last few years voices have been raised for a change, companies need to take their responsibility regarding sustainable development.The purpose of the report is to describe and explain possible relations between sustainabil-ity performance of companies and profitability, valuation, industry and size respectively.To be able to judge the sustainability performance of the companies Folksam (2006a) have been used. This is a solid investigation of the companies listed on the A- and O-lists of the Stockholm Stock Exchange by the end of 2005. The sustainability marks have been com-pared with the chosen key values for each hypothesis respectively. With this quantitative data as foundation, a quantitative approach and a deductive method have been used.In the first area of the investigation, profitability, the authors found correlation for the main hypothesis between sustainability performance and ?Return on Total Assets? through a statistical test.

Efter finanskrisen år 2008 började kvalitén av den interna styrningen i kreditinstitut att ifrågasättas mer än under tidigare år. Banker gick i konkurs och intressenters förtroende för kreditinstitut sjönk. Efter finanskrisen undersökte CEBS hur implementeringen av deras riktlinjer på området av intern styrning fungerade, och kom fram till att implementeringen av riktlinjerna var bristfälliga. CEBS kom fram till att den bristande interna styrningen var en bakomliggande faktor till finanskrisen, bland annat så behövdes proceduren för tillsyn förbättras i kreditinstituten.EBA övertog år 2011 CEBS:s uppgifter och uppdaterade CEBS:s riktlinjer, i form av GL 44. I GL 44 fokuseras det på den interna styrningen i kredit- och värdepappersinstitut och riktlinjerna i GL 44 kommer att ersätta råden i FFFS 2005:15, som kreditinstitut i Sverige bör ha följt sedan år 2005.Frågeställningen i uppsatsen är hur det befintliga svenska regelverket och kreditinstituten kommer att påverkas av de nya riktlinjerna i GL 44, jämfört med de nuvarande råden i FFFS 2005:1.

Jag har för denna uppsats granskat språkbruket i samtliga riksdagspartiers jämställdhetsplaner, i avseendet språk och kön, detta för att undersöka hur språkbruket ser ut för aspekterna personliga pronomina, titlar och personbeteckningar, böjning av adjektiv i naturligt genus, förekomst av ord och ordkombinationer som ?kvinnor?, ?män? och ?kvinnor och män? och snarlika ord samt omskrivningar. De partier som omfattas av min undersökning är centerpartiet, folkpartiet, kristdemokraterna, miljöpartiet, moderaterna, socialdemokraterna och vänsterpartiet.Mitt syfte med uppsatsen är att se i hur stor grad riksdagspartierna använder ett jämställt språk. Fokus i min uppsats ligger på att analysera hur de olika partiernas texter är uppbyggda och vilka språkliga verktyg partierna använder sig av för att språket inte ska upplevas obalanserat eller riktat till endast ett av könen. En kartläggning av språkbruket i jämställdhetsplanerna kan visa på ambitionen att skriva könsneutralt, vilka strategier som tillämpas för att kringgå könsmarkörer samt eventuella omedvetna könsmarkeringar.

Diabetes är förenat med många följdsjukdomar och för tidig död. Detta ger upphov till betydande samhällskostnader. Socialstyrelsen har utformat nationella riktlinjer som ska ligga till grund för vårdprogrammen i respektive landsting.

The agricultural sector accounts for about 13 percent of the total load of greenhouse gas emissions from Sweden (Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, 2007). The Swedish objective to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions with 40 percentage units to the year of 2020, based upon the year of 1990, might imply stricter regulations for Swedish farmers. A regulation or other forms of economic incentives is probably necessary to reduce the emissions originating from the agricultural sector. This study aims to investigate the economic and managerial impact on two agricultural firms with differing production system given that a constraint on green house gas emissions is introduced. Gases included in this study are carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide.

Since the middle of the 1980´s the Swedish bank market has experienced a change concerning structure and pressure of competition. Before the year 1985, the market was characterized as a market with few operators but have changed to a market with many operators and seen as one of the most intense in Europe where the four major banks; Nordea, Handelsbanken, SEB and Föreningssparbanken together have a strong position. Their market share has recently decreased, mostly for the benefit of foreign banks and niche banks. The so called ecoturism got more and more popular and people began to seek space and silence in difference to the life in the highly populated areas. AbstractAccording to several researchers finance is scarce, scarcer for small businesses than for big enterprises. Small and medium-sized enterprises, SMEs, that want to start exporting and sales or manufacturing abroad need capital to get ready. Which capital structure and financial costs do they have, and which forms of finance do they actually use for that purpose. New american research by Mansi, Reeb (2002) has suggested, that there is a positive connection between leverage and a negative one between financial costs and internationalization, and that a non-linear model better describes this connection.This study has gathered data in two ways: Through a questionnaire from 37 SMEs and balance sheet figures from totally 166 manufacturing SMEs. In order to examine, whether the company was active on the international market, 200 SMEs in south Sweden were asked, if they exported to, produced or sold on any other market than their home market.
