Det här självständiga arbetet i militärteknik avhandlar huruvida Försvarsmakten, med i huvudsak redan befintlig materiel, genom en teknisk aktiv skyddslösning kan uppnå en förbättrad skyddsförmåga mot indirekt eld. Förmågan som söks är främst avsedd för, men inte begränsad till, att kunna nyttjas för att erhålla ett förbättrat skydd av Försvarsmaktens internationella camper. Därmed utgörs hotbilden framförallt av granatkastarammunition och raketer vilka inom ramen för en teknisk aktiv skyddslösning först måste kunna detekteras för att sen medge förvarning, eller ännu hellre avvärjning, innan de når sitt mål. Arbetets resultat presenteras i form av Förvarsmaktens möjligheter idag tillsammans med en rekommendation om hur skyddsförmågan kan säkerställas på något längre sikt..

The notion of firms interacting with technology is not new; these types of systems were already in place in the mid eighties. E-business users worked with connections between their inbound logistics and procurement systems, and suppliers? order-entry systems. When these connections were described for the first time the vertical links between two, or more, value chains in a value system received more attention in firm strategy. The design of the linkages in the value system was said to be a product of the need for coordination and relative bargaining power.

This degree project is an investigation of solar cells and their ability to deliver electric power as well as reducing the need for cooling. The main object of interest is a BASE-X shelter. The shelter is purchased by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, FMV to be used for command and camp in the new force called Nordic Battlegroup, NBG. The demand on the equipment is firstly that it should have a small weight to be easy to transport and handle and secondly to be easy to bring up fast. Therefore the choice of solar cell technology fell on thin film cells.

The purpose with the study was to find a pattern in the behaviour of dairy cows which could be related to their social rank. A behavioural study was conducted at the University Cattle Research Centre (Kungsängen) in Uppsala, Sweden. The study included 12 lactating dairy cows, 6 high ranked and 6 low ranked. The cows were housed in a loose housing barn with an automatic milking system (AMS) to which they had access 24 hours a day. During the experiment the total number of cows in the barn was 46.

AbstractOur bachelor degree thesis was carried out in collaboration with Ivar Petterssons Järnmanufaktur AB in Smålandsstenar. We were asked to replace their wedge housing, used to fasten the wires to the power lines, with a similar structure in a plastic material. The idea for this project started with Ivar Petterssons Järnmanufaktur AB having problems with the casting quality that forced them to perform expensive tests on each of the wedge houses to ensure the quality. They are currently produced in China which is also a major drawback because it requires expensive long delivery times.The method we used is Fredy Olsson's Princip- and Primärkonstuktion (1995). We have consistently been in the project on so-called "broad front", which means that you create several sketches, ideas and changes in parallel, and then evaluates all.

Bakgrunden till uppsatsen är att det svenska artilleriet under hösten 2011 ska börja utbildas på Archersystemet och bemanna insatsorganisation 2014 (IO14).Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka om manöverkrigföringens krav på flexibelt uppträdande och förmåga till leveranssäkerhet kring artilleriammunition i subarktisk miljö stärks i IO14 för artilleriet. För att kunna dra slutsatser kring detta har en jämförelse mellan IO14 och IO09 genomförts, där leveranssäkerheten av artilleriammunition har studerats utifrån grundläggande förmågan rörlighet.Uppsatsen påvisar att IO14 har en kvalitativ insatsorganisation där tillförseln av ny modern materiel medför att resurserna nyttjas effektivt, vilket skapat stärkt leveranssäkerhet med en ökad flexibilitet och rörlighet. This paper explores a model for self-assessment of purchasing maturity in large companies. The author adapts contemporary purchasing theory and further enhances existing tools and procedures to create a survey based instrument for maturity measurementThe paper also explores potential methodological challenges associated with conducting a more extensive study of purchasing maturity via the proposed model. A preliminary study is made and the learnings discussed.The preliminary findings of the survey indicate that the purchasing maturity varies with industry. The purchasing function average score was found to be 3,4 out of 6 with samples spread across the whole spectra ? agreeing with previous theories stating that the purchasing maturity is highly varied between different industries..

Detta examensarbete innefattar Montessoripedagogikens skapande och utveckling samt en beskrivning av Montessorimaterielen men även förtydligande av begreppet genus kopplat till förskolan. Syfte med detta arbete är att ur ett genusperspektiv beskriva Montessorimaterielens användande under arbetspassen på en Montessoriförskola. De empiriska undersökningarna utfördes under fem veckor på en avdelning med 21 barn i åldrarna 3-5 år. Tre pedagoger har även ingått som informatörer i undersökningen. Metoderna som användes var strukturerade intervjuer och observationer.

The objective of this essay was to analyse if the same housing needs are assessed equally by Swedish welfare agencies in ten districts in Malmö. If not, why?Welfare officers from all districts were interviewed. They were all working with homelessness among families. We had an idea that the districts were forced to prioritize because of the meagre recourses, and that clients who really needs help doesn't get what they need.

This study has been conducted on behalf of Vectura Consulting AB with the purpose to examine how different actors perceive the dimensions of sustainability and sustainable construction. The purpose is also to provide an understanding of existing barriers and opportunities for sustainable construction within the industry and exemplify with different directions for the actors in order to develop sustainability. Syftet med denna studie var att studera sambandet mellan depression, ångest och dissociation. Studien grundar sig i både den psykoanalytiska teorin och den kognitiva teorin. Som deltagare valdes 90 studenter vid en högskola i södra Sverige och som materiel användes tre frågeformulär: ett dissociationsformulär, ett depressionsformulär och ett ångestformulär. Resultaten i denna studie visar på att det inte är någon skillnad i förekomsten av depression mellan män och kvinnor. Depression och ångest har en stark bindning till varandra.

   Officially, Sweden has a very low level of corruption and in 2008 topped Transparency International?s list in terms of the perception of a lack of corruption. However, on closer examination it would appear that the Swedish public sector is not as clean as the Transparency International list suggests. What appears to be relatively common and quite widely accepted in Sweden, especially in local government, are conflict of interest situations in which public officials use their position to obtain advantages for themselves, their friends and their colleagues, in particular with respect to public procurement. According to the Swedish constitution, the public administration shall be governed by the principles on legality and objectivity. Grave violations of these principles are deemed illegal and contrary to the penal code provisions relating to bribery, public misconduct and breach of confidentiality.

Most people have been forced to throw away a pot-plant after its death. There are many reasons to the death of a plant, but mainly it?s because its owner forgets it, and therefore fails to water it. The purpose of this project is therefore to develop a product which can prevent this from happening, while the product has to have a low manufacturing cost to be able to compete whit other, similar, products on the market. During the project, a benchmarking has been done to give a clear picture of what the product has to compete with. The directives there are for CE-marking, and which of these who concerns the product has also been looked up.
