product?s packaging best look like to attract the consumer?

Method: Conjoint analysis and a quantitative survey.
Results: When developing a package for a food product we?ve reached the
conclusion that it is most important to have clear product information on it.
The consumer wants it to be simple and easy to use, the people under time
pressure seeks product with new technology which can save them time..

Calesco Foil AB is a manufacturer of thin flexible circuits for heating or electric conduction.The plant is located in Kolbäck, Sweden.One of the company?s products, the conducting polymer pasta is in present situationunpredictable. Unpredictable in the way that the same type of heater shows differentresistance, depending on which time they have been produced. The desired repetitivelyprocess is almost non-existing.The aim of this master thesis is to primary identify those parameters that effects theresistance, observe and if possible to perform tests on them. The results from this analysisstand as base for recommendations to achieve a repetitive and standardized printing process.The results and the observations from the tests indicate that a repetitive process is possible toachieve.
Beräkning av miljömässiga och ekonomiska konsekvenser vid källsortering av blandat byggavfall : samt analys av redovisningsmetoder för byggavfallsstatistik
I en värld där människan är det enda djur som lämnar efter sig avfall som inte kan brytas ned naturligt, är det viktigt att avfallet vi producerar tas om hand på bästa möjliga sätt. EU har därför tagit fram en prioriteringsordning för hur avfallet ska behandlas. Denna kallas avfallshierarkin och ska ligga till grund för medlemsländernas lagstiftning om avfallshantering. I Sverige kallas byggsektorn för den ?40-procentiga sektorn? vilket syftar på att 40 procent av Sveriges avfall genereras av denna sektor.
Utbrott av livsmedelsburen smitta på äldreboenden i Sverige
Svenskar 65 år eller äldre beräknas öka från dagens 1,6 miljoner till 2,3 miljoner år 2030. Äldre kan ansöka om bistånd vilket kan bestå av matleveranser eller helpension i särskilt boende. Livsmedelssäkerheten styrs av EG-lagstiftning och svensk lag gäller även matleveranser och mat i särskilt boende. Äldre i särskilt boende utgör en högriskgrupp för livsmedelsburen smitta och i dagsläget saknas en information om hur utbrott av livsmedelsburen smitta drabbat äldreboenden. Mot bakgrund av avsaknad av information har detta arbete utförts.

Research has shown that waste is a large proportion of the total production cost in building projects today.The purpose of this report is to analyze problems concerning logistics in the construction sector. Two of Skanska?s construction projects in Uppsala have been analyzed to identify problems.
Näringstillförsel för äldre personer med demenssjukdom,
The aim of this littrature review has been to describe how you can satisfy the need of nourishment for older people who suffer from dementia. Data has been retrieved by searches in Academic Search Elite, Sience Direct, Blackwell, PubMed and in the Journal Vård i Norden. The studies show that most of the people with dementia have a hard time to satisfy the nourishment. The results show that through different preventive measurement you can improve the nourishment for these people, to set the table, play calm music and to have a table companion. By taking the food oneself created a good meal environment and the individually need was provided for.

A tight economy and a keen competition force the Swedish agricultur to do a structural rationalization. The quantity of farmers is less but the units are growing. How to make money I think some kind of niche is necessary. In my examwork I have locked how to farm herbaceous plant and the marking of herb to feedstuff for horses.
Today health food and alternative medicine are accepted to use and there is an increase in demand.
The Swedish market for herbaceous plants to horses is small and the products are mostly imported. But there is a group of consumers who is willing to pay a higer price for Swedish cultivated herbs.
The only way to find out which herbaceous plants I could cultivate is to make a test cultivate.
I think that the market for herbaceous plants is growing.
Rätt temperatur på maten : En fallstudie av ett förbättringsarbete på ett sjukhus med brickdukningssystem
InledningEn välsmakande och hygieniskt säker mat är viktig för patientens medicinska behandling och välbefinnande. Det ligger i sakens natur att man som patient ofta är svag eller nedsatt och därmed extra känslig för infektioner. Livsmedelshygien är på ett sjukhus en fråga om patientsäkerhet med temperaturen som den enskilt viktigaste faktorn. Brickdukning har som system för att distribuera maten inom ett sjukhus många fördelar men en nackdel är svårigheten att upprätthålla rätt temperatur. Mätningar på det studerade sjukhuset visade stora variationer och betydande avvikelser från tillåtna temperaturer, varför ett förbättringsprojekt genomfördes för att förbättra och stabilisera temperaturerna.SyfteFörbättringsarbetet studerades med syfte att beskriva de fenomen som den involverade personalen upplevt vara betydelsefulla för förbättringsarbetets resultat och hur patienternas upplevelse av maten förändrades under tiden för förbättringsarbetet.
De externa etableringarnas framtid : en samhällsekonomisk analys av behov och möjlighet till politisk styrning och planering
The out-of-town retail establishments are part of the dramatic structural changes in the retailing of food and groceries. There are however strong indications suggesting these establishments result in negative externalities concerning areas such as pollution and urban environment. The purpose of this study is to describe and, from an economic perspective, analyse the Swedish political regulations and planning policies concerning the out-of-town supermarkets. The analysis establishes that the current regulations regarding out-of-town retailing do not, due to the occurrence of market failures, produce an optimal situation. It might therefore be necessary to change the planning policies in a more restrictive direction.
Företagsstudie om värmeöverföring : Beskrivning av värmeflöden hos en lagerbyggnad
The study took place at a food corporation in Växjö, Sweden. It describes a building that contains four tanks in which glucose syrup is stored. The purpose of the study was to calculate the amount of heat that leaves the building and the amount of heat that is supplied by the installed heating equipment. Before the calculations could be implemented, all the systems that supply the building with heat had to be examined. With a small amount of information from earlier studies, the work to gather all the data necessary for the calculations began.

The purpose with this master´s thesis is to examine how helth and unhelthy in the Swedish magazines Topphälsa, Fitnez Magazine, hälsa and I Form. The study is made from a discourse analytical approach and text and pictures are analysed together. The governmentality-perspective is also used as a theoretical frame. Power and govern are two inportant conceptions for this paper. Some of the main characteristics of the material are the double messages, the division in the categories "we" and "them" and the personal address to the reader.
Pensionärerna i Kramfors efterlyser mer fantasi i sina matlådor : En enkätstudie
Studiens syfte är att undersöka könsmönster i förskolan och pedagogers tankar kring genus, bland barn i åldern tre till fem år. Leken är viktig för barns utveckling och lärande, och förskolan ska arbeta för att motverka de traditionella könsmönster som finns i samhället. Därför är det av stor vikt att pedagoger vet hur de förhåller sig till pojkar och flickors lek. I resultatet presenteras utfallet av observationer och intervjuer gjorda på en förskola i nordöstra Skåne. Resultatet visar att pedagogerna på denna förskola tycks ha kommit långt i arbetet för att motverka traditionella könsmönster.

This essay investigates the relation between ?usage? and ?hearing? of dialectal words and expressions in the Ryukyu islands, Japan, in this case words and expressions from a mix of Ryukyuan and standard Japanese, so called uchinaa-yamatoguchi. A survey was conducted and in the questionnaires the respondents were asked to fill in the degree of usage and hearing of each word and expression, consisting of three alternatives each; use often, use seldom and never used - hear often, hear seldom and never heard.My findings show a stable pattern in the relation between usage and hearing, where the usage is relatively low compared to hearing in almost every case. Among the most frequently used ones, one could find words and expressions connected to food, festivals, type of person, adjectives, adverb and animals etc..
Konstruktion och design av två glassförpackningar i kartongkvaliteten Frövi Light
This degree project was made in cooperation with AssiDomän Frövi and Charlotte Andersson and the main objectivehas been to create to ice cream pacbges from 250 gsm Frövi Light board. The paekages are intended to be easilyresealable while decreasing in size together with the ice cream. The project also describes the food packaging labelsand symbols currently present in the European common market.Both capsules utilize a separate lid for resealing. One of the paekages (Capsuie A) is indended to be cut along withthe ice cream and thereby decrease in size. The other one (Capsuie B) uses a series of flaps for contracting and expandingwhich enab1es adjusting of the size without cutting the package up.The design for Capsuie A is created both as a series of flavours with a super-hero theme intended for children andwith a colfee flavour for a maturer audience.
Diet och identitet : Analyser av kol- kväve- och svavelisotoper på indivier från det kristna senvikingatida gravfältet i Björned, Torsåkers socken, Ångermanland
This paper deals with the late Viking age/early medieval grave field in Björned, Torsåker parish, Ångermanland County in northern Sweden. The grave field in Björned is rare because it has all the signs of being Christianized before the surroundings. This awakes questions such as if the people of Björned came from another place and brought the religion with them or if someone else did that for them. To find these answers I have analysed the stable isotope ratios [delta]13C, [delta]15N and [delta]34S in human bone collagen. Through these stable isotopes we can not only see what the people consumed but also where their food had its origin.
