The aim with our paper has been to get a picture of which factors one of the heterogeneous group that we've chosen of old persons, 75-90 years, in Scania, in south Sweden, have experienced to be of importance for their life quality today and what they wish to preserve of their actual life style when they eventually shall use the elderly care. Also how their individual life course has influenced their experience of the quality of life.We found this subject interesting as the group of old people in the society is constantly increasing and when the group becomes bigger, then greater demands will be put on the elderly care. We have proceeded from a standpoint that all people are unique individuals and that people become what they are from their life histories and from the choices they have made during their life. We have used the life course theory that says that one should see the individual in his/her wholeness and the whole life history of a person in order to understand him/her. We have also studied earlier research concerning the different determinants of the life quality.

Tidigare forskning behandlar vad och hur mycket barn äter samt hur mycket och på vilket sätt barn är fysiskt aktiva. Syftet med studien var därför att beskriva förskolepersonals syn på små barns rörelse- och matvanor samt på hur de kan stötta föräldrar till att skapa hälsosamma vanor för sina barn. Sex semistrukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes med personer som arbetat inom förskola i minst 15 år. Intervjuerna spelades in med hjälp av diktafon vartefter de transkriberades och analyserades. Resultatet kunde delas in i tre kategorier: Små barns rörelse- och matvanor på och utanför förskola, Faktorer som påverkar små barns rörelse- och matvanor samt Kommunikation som stöd till föräldrar.

To study and examine the work methods and operations of today and also to present methods measuring the operations effectiveness and productivity.We have used the system approach to maintain totality and to understand the component's relation to this totality. Field studies combined with studies of relevant literature and studies of other companies operations have given us the knowledge and the understanding of the packing operations needed.

Bakgrund: Hjärtsvikt är den vanligaste orsaken till sjukhusinläggning hos äldre personer. Upp till 50 % av dessa patienter är felnärda. Detta kan delvis orsakas av de gastrointestinala symtom som sjukdomen ger såsom tidig mättnadskänsla, aptitlöshet och illamående. Syfte: Att ur patienters perspektiv belysa problematik med mat och kostråd vid kronisk hjärtsvikt. Metod: En litteraturstudie där tio kvalitativa eller kvantitativa vetenskapliga artiklar ingår.

Food and Health Concept center har tillsammans med åtta fiskare från Spiken i Lidköping bildat den Ideella föreningen Vänerprodukter. Siklöjan är en ganska liten fisk som fiskas i sjöar i södra Sverige samt längst Östersjöns kust. I nuläget tar man bara tillvara på siklöjans rom, resten av fiskens resurs går till spillo.Enligt Livsmedelsverket bör vi äta fisk två till tre gånger i veckan. Purpose: The study aims to analyze how companies can learn from past communications in critical situations and during corporate crisis, and see how they use this knowledge in the management of subsequent critical situations and corporate crisis. Furthermore, the media is analyzed to see how the newspaper industry chooses to reflect an organization and its actions, and also to see if the pressure through articles in the newspapers has an impact on the extent of the situation.Method: A qualitative case study of Sweden?s largest food company, ICA Sverige AB, where knowledgeable people in media management within the company are interviewed using semi-structured interviews, with support of quantitative methods by a collection of articles from the news press.Theories: Concepts, theories and models in crisis management and communication has been applied to relevant data. These comprise Knowledge Management, a communication template in crisis management, The Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT) and the model Content of crisis communication.Empiric: Based on the quantitative data consisting of articles from four Swedish news sources: Svenska Dagbladet, Dagens Nyheter, Aftonbladet and Expressen, a semi-structured interview guide was created and carried out with the person within ICA who possesses knowledge of the subject area.Conclusion: ICA has during the priod studied exhibited to have used the concept of Knowledge Management in the development of their routines regarding product recalls at product defects. Syfte: Att ta reda på vilka uppfattningar föräldrar har kring deras barns övervikt och hur vårdpersonal ser på omvårdnaden av barn med övervikt. Samt att belysa vilket samband som finns mellan en osund livsstil och barn med övervikt. Design: En systematisk litteraturstudie med deskriptiv ansats. Inkluderade artiklarna i studien var både kvantitativa och kvalitativa och kommer från databaserna Pubmed och Cinahl. Resultat: Stillasittande aktiviteter ökar risken för övervikt medan deltagande i någon fysisk aktivitet dagligen minskar risken för övervikt.

The purpose of this study was to investigate whether resistant maltodextrin is suitable as a fiber source in the probiotic fruit drink ProViva Mango without affecting the probiotic bacterium Lactobacillus plantarum 299v, viscosity or the sensory experience of the drink. Resistant maltodextrin is produced from hydrolyzed corn starch and is classified as a soluble dietary fiber. It is relatively resistant to digestion in the small intestine, where approximately 10% can be broken down, 50% can be fermented in the colon by the intestinal flora and 40 % is excreted in the faeces. Resistant maltodextrin has several important qualities when it comes to food processing. When added in a product, it does not affect the viscosity or taste and it is heat and acid stable.

The objective was to examine the frequency of unwanted behaviors in the Swedish feline population and what factors in the environment, inheritance and past life that have an influence on the frequency. SLU?s web poll generator was used to create a web poll which insinuated that it was a poll with objective to make an inventory of the Swedish feline population. I wanted to avoid that only owners to cats with unwanted behaviors answered the poll. The web link to the poll was sent to SLUs students and posted on Internet forums for people interested in cats.

Sammandrag Rapporten ämnar att i huvudsak finna vilka faktorer som kunder värderar när de letar efter sin marknadsföringsleverantör men även vilka faktorer som gör att kunden väljer att byta byrå. Vidare för rapporten även en diskussion kring hur företagen bör göra när de ska leta efter en ny byrå. Syftet med rapporten är således att göra branschen uppmärksam på hur kunder selekterar i utbudet samt vilka saker som får samarbetet att hålla längre, men även för företagen att se hur de kan få ut mer från branschen genom att utföra en ordentlig byråvalsprocess. Arbetet bygger i huvudsak på gjorda intervjuer samt enkätundersökningar, uteslutande genomförda i Skåne. Anledningen till denna geografiska avgränsning är för att begränsa arbetets storlek med risk att den annars hade blivit för omfattande för kursen. Undersökningarna visade byråns kreativitet samt god kommunikation som de två viktigaste faktorerna. Vidare visade undersökningen också på att några av företagen hade valt sina nuvarande byråer genom etablerade bekantskaper och rekommendationer, vilket är något som teoretikerna inte råder till. Hur det kommer sig att kunden finner vissa faktorer viktigare än andra är svårt att diskutera kring, eftersom syftet med arbetet är att kartlägga dessa.
