I denna studie utformas en prediktionsmodell för försäljningspriser på skogsfastigheter i Sverige. Syftet är att ge marknadsaktörer ett verktyg för att bedöma till vilket pris skogsfastigheter i Sverige förväntas säljas.Modellen bygger på multipel linjär regressionsanalys av skogsfastigheter sålda av fastighetsförmedlaren Areal mellan 2012 och 2014. De förklarande faktorerna som ingår i modellen är geografiskt läge, virkesförråd, bonitet, befolkningstäthet och huggningsklasser.Modellen lyckas prediktera försäljningspriset med en förklaringsgrad på 90.0 procent, vilket är tillräckligt högt för att målet ska anses vara uppfyllt. The purpose of this thesis is to study to what extent the methodological theories are being reflected in the construction of user surveys at public libraries in Sweden. The study has been conducted as a qualitative literature study in two parts. The first part is an examination of literature concerning survey methodology; the second part is a study of three user surveys conducted at Swedish public libraries after 1995. Our main results indicate that the theories about methodology are followed in part, though it cannot be determined whether this is due to any actual methodological studies, common sense, or just copying other surveys. In our study we have found some areas of user survey construction that need further attention and that would benefit from more extensive methodology studies on the part of survey designers.

The main purpose with this MA thesis is to examine how visually impaired, disabled and people with dyslexia define service quality at the public library of Linköping. The method that has been used is focus group interviews. A focus group consists of four to eight people who are joined together, without knowing each other before, to discuss a certain subject. The aim is to get a wide spread of answers. A secondary purpose is to examine how this method works.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to study how public librarians? view mediation of fiction: the knowledge needed, the thoughts expressed about their own and other adults reading of fiction and how the informants define their roles as mediators of fiction. The method used was qualitative interviews with six librarians at main libraries in Swedish cities of different sizes. The theoretical starting points are Louise M. Rosenblatt?s reader-response theory, Michail Bachtin?s theory of speech genres and Åse Tveit?s and Jofrid Karner Smidt?s theories about mediation of fiction.

This study deals with the Swedish public library in our changeable time. New technology, an altered media situation with a growing digitalization, globalization and a society focusing on the individual and the market have put the public library in a new, indistinct position. It is described as facing an identity crisis. The aim of this thesis is to, by interviewing a group of young people ages 15-16, find out what the public library is for this user group and what it ought to be according to them. How do they value the services provided by the public library? Are there services they miss? The thesis also aims at relating the opinions of the young people to earlier research.

Syfte: Syftet med denna undersökningen är att öka förståelsen av hur företagen ser på sponsring i dagens ekonomiska situation. Detta är av särskilt intresse för de personer och organisationer som söker sponsorer. Undersökningen kommer speciellt att fokuseras på idrottssponsring. Syftet med undersökningen är även att se hur trenderna i Sverige stämmer överens med trenderna i övriga delar av världen och då främst i USA vad gäller sponsring. Metod: En survey-undersökning med de 126 största företagen i Sverige har gjorts.

Ten years ago the public computers with Internet access were introduced in the public libraries. The purpose of the public computers was to give the possibility of searching information. Along with the Internet came also communication media like chat and e-mail. This type of communication was a new function for the libraries and the reactions among the librarians were mixed. It has been a source of big frustration and attempts to block it has not succeeded.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine attitudes and standpoints amongst librarians at the Swedish public library towards literary awards and awarded literature. The questions posed in the study are: What attitudes are expressed amongst these librarians towards the Nobel Prize in literature, the August Prize and literary awards and awarded literature in general? What significance do the Nobel Prize in literature, the August Prize and other literary awards have concerning purchase and display at these public libraries? How is awarded literature perceived and how do they talk about it concerning quality and are questions of quality significant? Qualitative interviews with seven librarians at four different public libraries have been done. Theories regarding J?rgen Habermas the bourgeois public sphere and Pierre Bourdieu?s terms habitus, field and capital have been used as to explain the library as a public sphere.

Den här rapporten är gjord för ett kandidatexamensarbete på KTH inom programmet industriell ekonomi med inriktning mot energisystem och hållbar utveckling. Bakgrunden till studien är den ökning av andelen elektricitet i Sverige som genereras från förnybara energikällor, där lagstiftning och politiska mål kring utsläpp av växthusgaser har varit drivande faktorer. Vindkraft är en av dessa förnybara energikällor och produktionen av elektricitet från vindkraft har på senare tid ökat kraftigt i Sverige.Den ökade mängden vindkraft som ingår i det svenska energisystemet ställer ökade krav på regleringen av produktionen i elnätet då vindkraftens effekt varierar med vindhastigheten, den är intermittent. I dagsläget är det främst vattenkraften som används för reglering av vindkraften, men den är till största del utbyggd i norra Sverige och transmissionsbegränsningar i elnätet gör att dess förmåga att reglera elproduktion i södra Sverige är begränsad.Studiens mål är att svara på om det finns teknologier för lagring av energi som är lämpliga och ekonomiskt hållbara för användning i Sverige samt hur dagsläget för vindkraften ser ut i Sverige. En omfattande studie av de i dagsläget aktuella teknologierna för lagring av energi utförs.

This dissertation discusses head librarians in Swedish public libraries and the stress factors which affect them. The aim is to map out potential stress factors which head librarians come across in their day-to-day work. The purpose of the dissertation is to answer the following question: what stress factors affect library managers in Swedish public libraries? The dissertation was conducted through a literature study, informal interviews and a quantitative questionnaire. The results of the quantitative questionnaires show that the factor that produces the highest level of stress is having too many different tasks.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate librarians? experiences and opinions about a system for fiction retrieval based on the subject headings list Att indexera skönlitteratur. I want to know if librarians experience that subject headings searches for fiction literature are a good working tool, if there according to librarians are other resources and means that makes fiction available and searchable, and how they estimate the possibility of non-professionals to use subject headings for fiction retrieval. Six librarians at public libraries in Göteborg where interviewed. The interviews dealt with their work with fiction literature, their experiences of subject headings as a fiction retrieval tool, and with their contacts with patrons.

Under 2006 invandrade 473 personer till Bodens kommun. I samband med detta öppnade en integrationsenhet som ansvarar för att introducera invandrarna i samhället. Syftet med denna uppsats var att studera vilka integrationsåtgärder som erbjuds i kommunen, upplevelser av dessa samt om integrationsarbetet kan utvecklas. Stor del av materialet samlades in genom intervjuer med fyra personer som själva invandrat till Sverige samt med samordnaren för integrationsenheten. Informanterna har olika lång vistelsetid i Sverige.

Eight libraries, seven public libraries and one college library, in the northeast of Skåne serve as foundation in a collaboration where students and adult learners are placed in the center of attention. The aim of this Master's thesis in library and information science was to study how the students and adult learners in the northeast of Skåne perceive the library services that are developed with their needs in mind.Our method for this thesis was a quantitative interview study. We aimed to conduct interviews with users at the public libraries within the cooperation and thereby find out whether or not users within the target group were aware of the services that are developed and established within the northeast Skåne collaboration.The results showed that only a few respondents in the key target group did in fact know about certain parts of the library services especially developed for the northeast of Skåne-collaboration. The majority of the key target group also thought that study-related literature and reading rooms were the most important means that the libraries have to offer them in their studies. The northeast of Skåne-collaboration had many ideas concerning library services.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe how librarians inSwedish public libraries use Facebook and Twitter in themediation of literature. Our study focus on the librarians? role inthat process. The research questions are:? How do the librarians in this study regard mediation of literature through Facebook and/or Twitter in relation to othermediation strategies?? What goals and purposes do the librarians give in the selection of literature that they promote on Facebook and/or Twitter?? What do public librarians think about the future for mediation of literature through social media, how will it evolve?The methodology used was qualitative interviews.

Bemanningsbranschen har länge funnits i Sverige men det är inte förrän på senare tid som den uppnått den utsträckning som råder i Sverige idag. Arbetsmarknaden kräver flexibilitet för arbetsgivare och arbetstagare. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka faktorer som hjälper till med etableringen av bemanningsföretag på arbetsmarknaden. Studiens frågeställningar lyder enligt följande: ? Hur kommer det sig att bemanningsföretagen kan fortsätta växa kontinuerligt? ? Vilket syfte uppfyller bemanningsföretagen gällande arbete? Resultatet av studien visar sex kategorier av signifikant betydelse för vilka faktorer som bidrar till etableringen och utveckling av bemanningsföretag i Sverige idag.
