This thesis includes a mechanical engineering design work performed incollaboration between ÅF and Halmstad University. The work is done by FredyOlsson?s methods of Principle- and Primary Construction and David Ullman?stheories of Design for Assembly.The group was commissioned by ÅF to produce a concept to narrow down theassembly time of today?s luggage doors by reducing the numbers of adjustmentoptions. They also wanted it to be easier to mount the assembly by making itpossible to adjust the door in a closed position. Today luggage door takes, with its10 adjustment possibilities, around 4 hours each to assemble and ÅF wanted anassembly time around 10 minutes per door.Initially a preliminary study was made where the group began reviewing today'sconstruction and mounting of rails and doors on buses.

EP:n har tre spår elektroakustisk instrumentalmusik av skiftande karaktär, samt ett stilrent men ändå suggestivt omslag. The aim with this master's thesis is to describe the work process with the graduation film Player, by a composers perspective and given conditions. It provides a detailed insight into how the work was done from the script stage to the end result, scene by scene reflecting about both the musical performance and the collaboration between the director and me as a composer. SyfteVårt syfte är att se hur musikfestivaler kan bidra till och påverka en orts platsmarknadsföring och platsvarumärke.Forskningsfrågor vi har formulerat är följande:Hur kan en musikfestival påverka en ort?Hur kan en ort dra nytta av en musikfestival i sin platsmarknadsföring?Varför skapar sig orter ett platsvarumärke?MetodVi har utfört en kvalitativ studie. Vi började med att leta upp passande teori för musikturism då det området intresserar oss, efter det skapade vi syfte och forskningsfrågor. Därefter har vi har valt att utföra åtta delvis strukturerade intervjuer för insamling av empiri. Vi har med hjälp av den insamlade empirin skapat en teoretisk och empirisk analys.

Studien undersöker hur man på ett praktiskt sätt kan knyta samman musikteori-, gehörs- och ensembleundervisningen. Syftet är att undersöka möjligheten att i jazzsammanhang träna sitt gehör i grupp vid sina instrument. Jag har utvecklat tre gehörsövningar som undersöks i den här studien. Övningarna är konstruerade så att exempelvis pianisten skall övas i att höra basgångar, medan basisten övas i att höra ackordläggningar. En av ensembledeltagarna (piano, gitarr, sång, blås eller bas) styr övningen och väljer hur ackordföljden ska fortsätta genom att följa vissa regler (exempelvis upplöses dominanter alltid ren kvart upp/ren kvint ner).

Title: Go for it! - A study of anxiety in relation to students performing in ensemble class.This study discusses anxiety in relation to students in ensemble performance. The expectations on musicians are extremely high and demanding. They are expected to perform to the maximum of their ability despite both physical and mental pressure. I present in this study the result of the interviews I have performed with three students at Swedish Academies of Music. The study shows that all of the students included are in one way or the other suffering from anxiety in relation to performance.

Title: "Everybody is talking about reception but what do they really mean?" - Teacher trainers' experience of work with aesthetic communication in perspective of a receiver with a special attention to the reception of music. The purpose of this thesis is to study the notion of reception among a group of teachers at the department of education at Malmö University. Our principal aim is to illuminate reception in an educational context as well as experiences of the teachers´ work with aesthetic communication in perspective of a receiver within the main subject KME (Culture Media Aesthetics). We are paying special attention to the reception of music since this is a part of our profession.

Ett undersöknings- och utvecklingsarbete för att lösa ett problem med att dränkbara pumpar i ett vattenavrinningssystem gick sönder med perioder på två år i genomsnitt, utfördes i samarbete med Cementa AB i Skövde. Orsak till pumpars haveri söktes och fanns vara bristande rutiner och kunskap om det underhåll pumparna krävde. För att lösa detta problem utvecklades riktlinjer för nyinköp av torruppställda pumpar för att möjliggöra kontinuerligt underhåll. Då möjligheter för placering av torruppställd pump saknades utvecklades ett pumpfundament för placering av torruppställd pump. Krav för utvecklingsarbetet togs fram i samarbete med Cementas underhållsavdelning och teoretisk dimensionering av dränkbara länspumpars dåvarande volymflödeskapacitet utfördes.

Periods of hypoxia are a recurring issue in Brunnsviken. Main factors that trigger hypoxia in Brunnsviken are eutrophication  due to anthropogenic emission of nutrients, stratification in the water column due to salinity and temperature differences  that prevents mixing and a sill inlet that prevents water exchange. As an attempt to improve the oxygen levels, bottom water is pumped from Brunnsviken causing aerated surface water to flow back into the basin.  The objective of this Master?s thesis was to study the change in dissolved oxygen levels due to pumping.

This thesis is about the interaction between composition, notation and interpretation and what occurs between the fields with an extended notation.The purpose of my thesis is to examine the possibilities tothoroughly describe and map the sounding samples through composition prototypes.The thesis has a qualitative approach, and the empirical material consists of different documents about notation and from interviews with musicians and students about the instruments used in the thesis.It also consists of 17 compositions recorded at Örebro University School of Music as an appendix.The analysis shows that the context in which the symbols are found, play an important role in performing them. It also shows that the performers are rooted in a traditional way of performing..

Meningen med denna uppsats är att ge läsaren en förståelse för hur skivbranschen använder sig utav Internet vid marknadsföring och produktlansering, detta har lett till att vi valt att undersöka hur skivbranschen använder sig utan Internet som ett marknadsförings- och produktlanseringsverktyg. En fallstudie har gjorts på två Svenska Independent Skivbolag i syfte att redogöra för hur de använder sig av Internet inom vårt forskningsområde. The  change that has occurred during the past few decades concerning the development of electronic records, information technology and the constantly increasing quantity of information, have confronted the archival discipline with new challenges. In the digital world, the concept of ?record? has changed from representing something lasting and physical to something much more abstract and transient. The way to approach archival description has also changed, from focusing on the static preservation of archival records, to documenting the transactions of organisations, and to clarify operational processes. The discussion about the general purpose of the archival discipline, and its place in a changing world, has led to a new approach to archival description.

This is a project with the main purpose to create a visual identity and platform for the release of the new started record label Human vs Environment, by finding a form and logotype for the homepage and packaging of the first vinyl ep record by the artist Mr Kaizen.
