Syftet med detta examensarbete är att se hur våra respektive praktikskolor jobbar med skolans värdegrund och vad detta får för uttryck för eleverna i de två tredjeklasserna vi har valt att undersöka. Den ena skolan jobbar utifrån modellen EQ och den andra skolan har SET som modell. Skolans värdegrund är ett diffust begrepp och vi kommer även att belysa detta i vårt arbete. I vår undersökning har vi intervjuat två stycken årskurs 3 klasser. Vi har valt att endast belysa skillnader och likheter mellan de två klasserna och har därför inte lagt fokus på att beskriva skolornas upptagningsområde. Vi har också valt att göra intervjuer med sex elever i varje klass för att komplettera undersökningen där vi valt att ställa frågor med förskrivna svarsalternativ. Den slutsats vi kommit fram till är att oavsett vilken modell skolan väljer är det viktigt att det finns en röd tråd så att värdegrundsarbetet blir förankrat hos eleverna och deras vardag.

This study is about how students view the effects teachers have on their self-esteem and self-confidence. The theoretical background covers the consequences of success and failures, and the interaction between students and teachers, in regards of self-esteem and self-confidence. The purpose of the study was to examine what had in-fluenced the students? self-esteem and self-confidence in the interaction with teachers. To reach the goal of the study, several qualitative interviews were made with the following questions as base:? Which factors does the student consider to be of importance for their self-esteem and self-confidence in the interaction with teachers?? How does the student feel that these factors were affected concerning their self-esteem and self-confidence?During the analysis and systematization of the transcribed interviews, five factors emerged that effects self-esteem and self-confidence.

SammanfattningPå grund av ökad konkurrens måste företag öka sin konkurrenskraft. Ett sätt för företag att öka sin konkurrenskraft är att utnyttja de resurser de besitter på ett mer effektivt sätt. Hur ett producerande företag styr sin produktion påverkar hur effektivt de utnyttjar sitt produktionssystem, lager och personal. Ett företag kan styra sin produktion genom att välja hur de partiformar och belägger de artiklar som utnyttjar ett produktionssystem.  Syftet med det här arbetet är att öka förståelsen för hur en modell för partiformning och beläggning av artiklar med varierande efterfrågan i ett produktionssystem där kapacitetsbrist råder kan se ut.Arbetet är en fallstudie där partiformning och beläggning av artiklar i ett produktionssystem analyseras. Kvalitativ forskning har bedrivits för att nå en djup förståelse för problemet.

Word-of-mouth marketing (WOM) has been considered as one of the most effective marketing tools, yet the least understood. While its lucrative effects have been well proven in academic studies worldwide, little is yet known of why consumers engage in WOM, and what factors actually drive this sought-after behavior, particularly in an online context. While today's research lacks holistic views on the simultaneous effects of multiple WOM-drivers, this paper takes on a meta-analytic approach by building on the pertinent literature to construct an aggregated model, including several previously acknowledged drivers divided into two categories: (1) Brand related drivers and (2) Personal and situational drivers. The authors then empirically examine what drivers are the most influential on WOM in an online social media context. By doing so, this thesis does not only contribute to marketing managers' better understanding of online communications management, it also sheds light on the theoretical knowledge of the behavioral drivers of WOM.

The aim of this paper is to examine how teachers experience their possibilities to develop democratic teaching in high school and how they reflect upon their position of power within the teaching situation. Four professional high school teachers have been interviewed for the study. The theoretical perspective of the study is an intersectional view on power and a view on democratic teaching which is partly built on the high school curriculum, but mainly defined by deliberative conversations, anti-oppressive education and norm-critical education. The result of the study is focused on three themes, which were shown in the analysis of the interviews. These themes are: choices of teaching content,  authority of the teacher and democratic teaching.

Examensarbetets mål var att skapa en modell för oljedegenerering, för implementering i lastbilens styrsystem. En modell som är lämplig för implementering måste vara enkel nog för att kunna hanteras av styrsystemet och samtidigt tillförlitlig nog för att varken över- eller underskatta oljebytesintervallet allt för mycket. Onödigt täta oljebyten medför ökade kostnader för ny olja och produktionsbortfall medan för glesa oljebyten kan orsaka allvarliga skador på motorn med tillhörande kostnader.Modellen delades upp i fyra delmodeller svarandes mot dom olika processer som styr oljedegenereringen; bränsleutspädning, kemisk degradering, sotinblandning och kondensbildning. Delmodellerna skapades med utgångspunkt i publicerade studier av dom olika förloppen varefter dom implementerades i Matlab och jämfördes med mätdata som fanns tillgängliga på Scania. Då det varmöjligt jämfördes olika modifieringar av modellerna för att undersöka vilken som gav bäst överrensstämmelse med mätdata.Bränsleutspädning, sotbildning och vattenutspädning är relativt väl förstådda förlopp och deras beroende av olika parametrar är välkänt.

Målet med denna studie är att framställa en modell för sannolikheten för skred i Cuenca del Arga i Navarra, Spanien, med hjälp av GIS och oskarp logik. Utifrån denna modell framställs en karta som visar områden där det finns sannolikhet för skred. Övergripande har metoden skett i fyra steg. Först har en skredindexkarta framställts, sedan har medlemsfunktioner skapats utifrån dessa med hjälp av skredriskparametrar. De ingående parametrarna har varit sluttningsvinkel, topografisk fuktighetsindex, avstånd till vattendrag, jordmån och markanvändning.

This report is about how HDR (HighDynamicRange) can be created and used in combination with Tone mapping. This work has been carried out together with Kapsch TrafficCom AB in Jönköping.The objective of this project is to:Evaluate and investigate the effects given to pictures by HDR and tone mapping.Evaluate if the technology may lead to improvements in Kapsch?s systems.To construct a program which is able to handle some form of tone mapping or HDR-algorithm.These questions will be answered in this report:What kind of effects has HDR and tone mapping-algorithms on pictures?Can the HDR-technology give better data in Kapsch?s systems?The research method used in this report is called action research. This means the authors has investigated the technology by reading different documentations and by testing different algorithms to see what kind of result they give. The report describes some of the tests made to see if the technology is appropriate in Kapsch?s system.There is two smaller reports made by the authors which documenting some of the work.The first report describes the work with different settings for a camera to create pictures with HDR-quality.

I många svenska koncerner har beslut tagits om att bilda självständiga enheter med lokal beslutsrätt. Ett internprissystem är nödvändigt när de enskilda enheterna utför internprestationer åt varandra. Beräkning och fastställande av internpriset sker med hjälp av olika metoder. De metoder som företaget har att välja mellan är främst kostnadsbaserad-, marknadsbaserad eller förhandlingsbaserad metod. Beroende på vilket syfte företaget vill uppnå med internprissystemet styr valet av metod.

Previous research has established coaches' important role in developing elite athletes (Durand, Bush, Thomson & Salmela 1996). Athlete enhancement and assisting athletes achieve ?peak performance? has been a major objective for elite coaches as well as sports scientists (Williams & Kendall, 2007) Despite this common goal, research also question whether sports scientists and the research they pursue really effects coaches knowledge and constitute a foundation for today and tomorrows athletic performances (Bishop 2008).  This study examined elite coaches? needs and use of sport science research as well as the interaction between elite coaches and sport scientists. Following interviews of ten elite coaches, content analysis revealed that sport science is both a formal and informal resource of knowledge for coaches. Development of athletes is seen as the main objective of research retrieval and personal and/or direct contact with the sport scientist is considered to be the best way to assemble.

Disney is one of the largest media companies in the world. They have been critizied for portrayting men, women and love relationships with stereotypical behaviours and attributes. This may lead to negative effects on childrens and adolescents perception of reality. The purpose of this study was to investigate how Disney portrays the dynamic between the characters within the love relationship in their movies launched in the 21st century. This study has examined four movies released in the 21st century containing a love relationship between a man and a woman.

Foreign direct investment (FDI) is widely regarded as a significant catalyst for economic development especially in emerging and developing economies. While previous research has found different effects from foreign direct investments in different countries this study aims to explore the varying effects of FDI in Serbia and Montenegro. The study focuses on how FDI influences key economic indicators, specifically GDP per capita and employment rates, in the context of their aspirations to join the European Union (EU). Employing a comparative approach, the thesis examines the differing trajectories of Montenegro and Serbia in utilizing FDI for economic advancement. The research reveals that while Serbia shows significant positive correlation between FDI and both GDP per capita and employment rates, Montenegro displays no significant relationship in these aspects.

Background for the research problems: Small companies are very important for the economic stability and development, something which the economic crises in recent years have underlined. Therefore it?s important to minimize administrative costs for smaller companies and also in other ways facilitate their further development. For these reasons accounting has been simplified and auditing abolished for smaller companies in many countries. In Sweden auditing for small companies was abolished nearly three years ago.

The object of this thesis is to direct attention onto female inmates who is a disregarded user group within the discipline of library and information sciences. This study has been performed on location at the Hinseberg correctional institution where nine female criminal offenders constitute the empirical foundation of our inquiry. The question proposed for solution is as follows: Is there a correlation between socio-cultural prerequisites and the reading habits of the female inmates - and if so how can it be described? Among the conclusions that we have drawn from our study is that the socio-cultural environment has an influence on the well-being of the inmates which in its turn has an impact on their reading. However, the effects on their mental state vary and consequently so does also their reading.
