Bakgrund: Företag behöver i dagens samhälle robusta och pålitliga datasystem. För att bygga ett väl fungerande nätverk måste dessa baseras på bra operativ- systemprogramvara. Den fria programvaran, Linux, har stärkt konkurrensen på marknaden för operativsystem. Att konkurrensen hårdnat gör det intressant att undersöka ifall kostnaderna för anskaffning och användning skiljer sig åt mellan olika operativsystem.Syfte: Syftet med detta arbete är att skapa en LCC-modell vilken skall appliceras på operativsystem i datanätverk. Vidare skall vi använda modellen till att jämföra totalkostnaden för att anskaffa och nyttja operativsystem i datanätverk under nätverkets livstid.Genomförande: För att uppnå vårt syfte har vi genomfört personliga intervjuer med ekonomi- och dataansvariga på tio olika organisationer.

Att använda Building information model (BIM) innebär att man bygger upp en komplett 3D-modell varifrån man genererar ritningar genom att göra en önskad genomskärning i modellen. Detta medför att om en revidering behöver göras i modellen så ger det utslag i samtliga utplockade ritningar, vilket innebär mindre jobb med tidsbesparing som följd.För att skapa en 4D-modell krävs att man importerar en 3D-modell och en tidplan till ett 4D-modelleringsprogram. Masshantering med data för schakt- och fyllnadsmassor kan användas till förbättringar av tid- och resurshantering med en exaktare 4D-modell som följd.4D ger stora kommunikationsmässiga fördelar vid byggmöten då samtliga deltagare på ett enklare sätt kan styra hur projektet ska planeras för att hålla rätt kvalité och levereras i rätt tid.Inom anläggningsprojekt framställs plan, profil- och tvärsektionsritningar tillsammans med data för masshantering från 3D-modellen. BIM för anläggningsprojekt är inte lika omfattande som BIM för byggprojektering då möjligheterna med t.ex. 4D - visuell produktionsplanering inte nyttjas.

The purpose of this study was to look for tendencies that social media can contribute to exposing users to a stronger perception of opinion polarization, and further to see if the daily presence of social networking sites can put normative pressure on the users. The study was made using a survey with participants from Umea? University during the time frame of november-december 2014. The theoretical framework behind the study was mainly drawn from The Spiral Of Silence by Elisabeth Noelle-Neumann and was further supplemented with more current research, studying the effects from The Spiral Of Silence in the modern and more fragmented media landscape that exists now then when her theory was written. Further theoretical tools for analysis of the results came from Michel Foucault and his discussions in Discipline and punish, specifically his views on how surveillance can be discontinous in practice, but still permanent in it?s effects.The results of this study indicates that social media users tend to isolate themselves from uncomfortable opinions, and do not follow or read opinions they do not already agree with.

Det här arbetet undersöker om heuristik i en algoritm kan förbättra optimeringen av postdistributionsnätverk. Som optimeringsalgoritm används hill climbing och heuristiken appliceras på mutationsoperatorn. För att utvärdera mutationsoperatorn skapas en förenklad modell av ett postdistribueringsnätverk. Ett befintligt postdistribueringsnätverk används som utgångspunkt för den förenklade modellen för att snabbt kunna få en bra och realistisk modell. Resultaten av undersökningen indikerar på att den heuristiska mutationsoperatorn sänker tiden det tar att hitta en bra lösning jämfört med att använda en slumpmässig mutationsoperator..

This paper aims to examine how, and if, music is being used integrated in other subjects thanmusic in school. The study is based on qualitative interviews and I haveinterviewed fourteachers, regardless of whether they use music a lot or not.The questions the study is basedon are if there might be a connection between theteachers' own feelings for music andwhether they use music inschool or not, how music is being used and does the use of musicgive any effects?The result of this study shows that there can be a connection between the teachers ownsfeelings for music and the fact if they use music when they teach or not. The purpose of this thesis work is to evaluate how the physical behaviour of a pipe bend is affected by the pipe bending procedure. Effects such as initial ovalization, thinning, thickening and plastic hardening from the bending procedure are examined and the mechanical properties of pipe bends containing these effects are investigated.This has been evaluated by creating a detailed Finite Element model of a pipe that is being bent. Then the differences compared to a bent tube in a virgin state, so called Elbow elements and an analytical in-house program have been evaluated. The virgin state refers to a model of a pipe that is bent from the beginning, thus having a homogeneous thickness and not containing any plastic hardening. The Elbow element is a calculationally cheap element, specially developed for accurate calculations of pipe bends in an initially virgin state.The goal with the thesis work is to get a better picture of what happens to a pipe as it is being bent, how this affects the mechanical properties and to evaluate the possibility to develop an easy method for taking these effects into account when using the Elbow element.This report describes the layout of the work and how the detailed FE-model has been constructed.

The Employment Protection Act (1982:80; LAS) is one of the cornerstones of the labour law that regulates the relationship between employer and employee. The central rule as stated in 4 § LAS is valid for an indefinite term. LAS is a semi-optional law in accordance with 2 § LAS which facilitates deviation from the central rule.Temporary employment is dealt with in 5 and 6 §§ LAS, regulations and collective bargaining agreements. En stor del av trafikanterna i Sverige använder cykeln som transportmedel men cyklingen är i hög grad beroende av vädret som varierar hela tiden. Det varierande vädret gör det svårt att se hur cyklingen förändras över tiden och för att kunna se denna förändring behövs en modell som rensar cykelflödet från vädrets påverkan.Syftet med denna rapport är just att utveckla en sådan modell. Denna modell ska tas fram med hjälp av dels cykelflödesdata och dels väderdata från ett antal gator i städer runt om i Sverige och ska vara tillämpbar överallt i landet.Metoden som används för att ta fram modellen är multiplikativ tidsserieregression. Då syftet är att ta fram en rikstäckande modell måste en gemensam variabeluppsättning väljas som vi ska använda oss av när vi anpassar regressionskoefficienterna för varje gata.
