Vissa studier som undersökt kombinerad styrketräning och uthållighetsträningjämfört med styrketräning har funnit hämmad styrkeutveckling vid kombinerad träning. Forskning har därför riktats mot att undersöka hur hämmad effekt kan undvikas. Syftet med litteraturöversikten var att genom att granska vetenskaplig litteratur i området beskriva faktorer av betydelse för styrkeutvecklingen i nedre extremitet vid kombinerade uthållighetoch styrketräningsprogram. En beskrivande litteraturstudie gjordes på ämnet. En litteratursökning genomfördes mellan 6-24/9, 2014 i databaserna Scopus, Proquest, Pubmed, Cinahl, AMED, Web Of Sciense.

This report presents the preliminary study and work for the development of a site structure for the upcoming reengineering of inter-tool Infopunkt. The report describes how I have conducted a study regarding the current inter-tool information center and its development potential. Thereafter compiling the information to develop a comprehensive design approach to create a sitemap. The sitemap illustrates a new updated page structure for Infopunkt and was the primary goal of the thesis. The sitemap I have developed will form the basis for the agency that will later on develop the new updated version of Infopunkt..

Yrket som personlig tränare växer allt mer, vilket bidrar till att fler personer väljer att utbildasig till personlig tränare. När personerna skall välja utbildning kan det vara svårt att finna vilken utbildning som passar individen bäst, då alla utbildningar både har likheter och skillnader. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur de olika utbildningarna inom personlig träning skiljer sig åt i struktur, att belysa skillnader i nationell och internationell standard samt hur yrket personlig träning kommer kunna utvecklas i framtiden.Studien har en kvalitativ utformning, och med hjälp av telefonintervjuer har information samlats in. I resultatet framkom det att utbildningarna använder kursmaterial som framtagits på snarlika sätt, då samtliga producerar egen litteratur. Majoriteten av lärarna i utbildningarna hade specifik utbildning inom det området som de undervisar i.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how work and individuals is portrayed in today?s labor market policies and workrelated coaching. To do this I am using discourse analysis. My theoretical points are social constructivism, governmentality, coaching and theories regarding activity. The results portray a picture of work as the foundation of society and the main way to break isolation.

Placed within the field of recent research concerning religion and contemporary religious landscapes, this thesis aims to show conceptions of human life and body displayed in ten Swedish health magazines. The analysis aims to demonstrate the appearance of body and bodily experience and in addition see in what way ?westernized? religious traditions and methods from east Asia may contribute to perspectives of health. The main theories for the study are objectified versus phenomenological understanding of the human body by Drew Leder (1992; 1990) and Kristen Zeiler (2010). Denna uppsats behandlar metoden ?Assessment Center? (AC), som alltmer används som ett verktyg i organisations- och verksamhetsutveckling, bl a för urval och utveckling av chefer och ledare. AC är en benämning för en metod som kan användas för bedömning av beteenden hos personer, och anpassas för att mäta olika relevanta kompetenser. Metoden har utvecklats från Tyskland, via England och USA och användes ursprungligen för att rekrytera officerare och underrättelseagenter. AC redovisas generellt som metod samt som myndighetssamverkan ?AC Skåne? mellan Polismyndigheten, Malmö stad samt Försäkringskassan.

The aim of this thesis was to analyse BARO WOOD AB:s timber measuring and quality sorting and to evaluate the analyse program Stockholmen. The purpose was to get a better understanding for the quality sorting made at BARO WOOD AB today, analyse differences in center board quality from logs with a good quality and logs with a bad quality, suggest new sorting criterias developed from analyses made with Stockholmen and to evaluate the program Stockholmen. All analyses are based on data gathered in a test sawing made at BARO WOOD AB in June and July 2002. The test sawing was made on four different diameter classes and every diameter class consisted out of A or M-grade logs, with a better quality, and B-grade logs with a lesser quality. The logs where sorted out with BARO WOOD AB:s existing quality criterias.

The concept of employability importance not only echoes within the economic discussions, but also on everyday agenda in the academic world and takes a large part in the communication between the university and the students. It is therefore important to get answers to the question whether there is conformity in the interpretation of this concept between the university and the students.The aim of this desk study is to examine how the concept of employability has its significance in the academic communication and how the responsibility for employability is portrayed.

Abstract"Citizen Influence, Forms and Effects - A study of the Resistance Concerning the Establishment of a Juvenile Detention Center in Kristinehamn 2005-2007"Political Science, Johan Utter This essay circles around the concepts of citizenship and the questions if and how citizens in the modern democracy can influence and effect the political decisions made by the governing body on the local level. This is done by the means of a case-study concerning the establishment of an institutional facility for convicted youths in Kristinehamn. The planning of this facility and especially its planned location in Sunneberg aroused a significant negative response from the citizens, demanding a better alternative for the location.The proposition resulted in heavy protests from the citizens as the planned location was viewed as an important recreation area, where the citizens could experience nature first hand, close to the centre of town. As a result, some citizens living close to the planned location, formed a network called "Bevara Sunneberg", whose purpose was to influence the decision-makers and make the citizen?s voices heard.

The aim of this review is to evaluate the best way to transport the horse. When it comes to transporting horses there are a number of different types of trailers and trucks that you can choose from today. The most common type of trailer is designed for two horses and the horses are transported facing the direction of travel. Studies has been performed to determine if that is the most advantageous direction for the horse to travel in, in terms of balance and levels of stress. Stress is a widely discussed subject and the definition is not fully developed.

Bakgrund: I Sverige diagnostiseras årligen cirka 40 män med bröstcancer. Det är en sjukdom som ofta associeras med kvinnor vilket resulterar i en okunskap där många inte är medvetna om att även män kan drabbas. Endast ett fåtal kliniska studier är utförda på män vilket leder till att de erbjuds behandling efter samma riktlinjer som kvinnor.  Syftet: Syftet var att belysa förekomsten av bröstcancer hos män samt deras upplevelser av att ha sjukdomen. Metod: En allmän litteraturstudie baserad på vetenskapliga artiklar genomfördes. Resultat: Resultatet visade att männen var chockade över att ha fått diagnosen bröstcancer.

Med SVT Grafiskt Center som samarbetspartner har jag studerat vilka möjligheter det finns att utnyttja rörlighet i informationsgrafik för tv.Tekniken och möjligheterna för vad man kan göra med informationsgrafik har utvecklats och många av de begränsningar som fanns tidigare för vad man kan göra med nyhetsinslag och informationsgrafik i tv finns inte längre. På SVT Grafiskt Center upplever man att SVT, trots avancerad teknik, inte riktigt tagit tillvara på nya möjligheter att utveckla informationsgrafiken. Man upplever att informationsgrafiken ofta utgör ett avbrott i nyhetsinslagen istället för att komplettera dem och att det är svårt att få grafik och filmat material att skapa ett sammanhängande flöde. SVT söker därför efter alternativa sätt att utforma sina nyhetsinslag och sin informationsgrafik på, både för att förbättra informationsflödet i nyhetsinslagen och för att ta tillvara på de möjligheter till kreativa lösningar för informationsgrafik som dagens teknik erbjuder. Möjligheterna för vad man kan göra med grafik i tv är många, men forskning inom kognitions- och kommunikationsvetenskap visar att människor har begränsade kognitiva resurser för att hantera komplex audio-visuell och verbo-visuell information.

I följande studie kommer rekryterings- och utvecklingsmetoden Assessment Center (AC) attstuderas. Syftet med studien är att utifrån verksamma organisationers erfarenhet av AC skapa en ökad förståelse för; metodens innebörd, vilka argument som ligger till grund förorganisationers användande av metoden samt dess värde för organisationer. Studien är avkvalitativ karaktär och fokus fästs vid tolkning och förståelse av AC baserat pårespondenternas subjektiva uppfattningar och upplevelser. Studiens teoretiska referensrambehandlar; Human Resource Management, rekrytering, personalekonomi, Talent Management och Assessment Center. Empiri har samlats från sex verksamma organisationer, varav fem organisationer vilka arbetar med AC samt en organisation som har påvisat ett eventuellt intresse av att utveckla ett AC.

This paper deals with the development of scientific geography during Antiquity from its mythical background before the seventh century BC to Claudius Ptolemy during the second century AD. The main focus is on questions concerning the shape of the earth, its place in the universe, size and mapping of the earth. Already before 400 BC, the idea of the earth as a globe was firmly estabished. During classical time, Aristotle used empirical and rational arguments to prove that the earth was a sphere and that it was situated motionless in the center of the universe. In the third century BC, the first reasonably correct measurements of the circumference of the earth was carried out by Eratosthenes.

The objective with this essay is to establish the benefits of inserting media as an obligatory topic in the upper secondary school. In order to succeed with this I will not only type this essay I will also produce a medial production in the form of a film.  I have interviewed two senior masters on Södertörns College where I have reviewed different questions that relate to the matter's weight in school values and the society. In the study I will also reflect over existing research within the area and to link these to the issue and those interviewed opinions.
