The purpose of the study is to describe how financial management functions within the individual and family care services in three mid-sized municipalities.27 interviews with managers and key personnel at three management levels in Örebro, Växjö and Jönkö-ping were conducted using a descriptive approach and qualitative method. In addition governing docu-ments and delineations in regards to these municipalities have been studied.The combined findings show that all municipalities have separate visions and control systems/models for their municipality with focus on management by objectives and politically determined goals, which in-clude economical measurements and requirements for the departments. Moreover, are also tracking sys-tems, which are described as following up on the results thru indicators and/or measurable goals. The municipalities utilize framework financials and budget processing on a high level and its timings appears similar in each municipality.Additionally the study has shown that there is a desire and aspiration to implement central economic goals in all three municipalities. The interviewees describe how they use their leadership to anchor, follow up and create participation in economic objectives and results thru instrumental and institutional leadership.

Syftet med studien är att skapa förståelse för hur ledningen i fastighetsföretag arbetar för att på lång sikt skapa personliga, hållbara och lojala kundrelationer.Studien antar ett aktörssynsätt och den hermeneutiska traditionen. En fallstudie på totalt fem fastighetsföretag har genomförts där sammanlagt 18 kvalitativa intervjuer fullbordats. Studien visar att företag arbetar också utanför sin kärnverksamhet för att skapa personliga, hållbara och lojala kundrelationer. Företag bör skapa ett värde som även delas av kunder. För att skapa starkare band till sina kunder kan företag styra sin verksamhet med hjälp av CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) verksamheter av olika slag för att skapa hållbara, djupa och långsiktiga kundrelationer och därigenom bidra till att infria kundernas önskemål.

Bakgrund och problem: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) är ett ramverk som beskriver företags sociala ansvar och engagemang. Vidare förknippas CSR även med stakeholder management som handlar om företags bemötande och balansering av sina intressenters intressen. Oenigheter i teoretiska definitioner av CSR tyder på att det empiriskt sett kan uppstå missförstånd kring ramverket. Carlsberg Sverige och Spendrups är två företag som tar ställning och socialt ansvar via CSR men kritiseras trots detta på grund av sin produktion och försäljningen av flaskvatten, som även visat sig har en negativ påverkan på företagens försäljning. Detta tyder på att det kan vara av företagens intresse att vilja bemöta och åtgärda de kritiska aspekter vilket görs utifrån CSR.Syfte: Studien syftar till att teoretiskt och empiriskt undersöka förhållandet mellan två bryggerier och dess kritikyttrande intressenter, vilket bidrar till ökad kunskap om komplexiteten av ramverken Corporate Social Responsibility och stakeholder management.Metod: En kvalitativ metod har använts där studien baseras på sekundärkällor för undersökningen av de två fallföretagen Carlsberg Sverige och Spendrups samt en undersökning av kritiken som riktas mot flaskvatten och dess produktion.Analys och slutsats: Produktionen, transporterna samt materialåtervinning och ?förbränning kritiseras för att ha en negativ påverkan på miljön.

Enligt undersökningar så visar det sig att finansbranschens ointresse för etik- och miljöfrågor skadar allmänhetens förtroende till finansbranschen. Samtidigt så visar det sig att finansbranschen har ökat publiceringen av Corporate Social Responsibility.                                                                               Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att få en fördjupad förståelse för hur finansbranschen tar ett socialt ansvar. Vi vill även undersöka hur aktörer inom finansbranschen går tillväga för att agera ansvarsfullt.Metod: För att samla in information har vi använt oss av kvalitativ metod i form av intervjuer. Vi undersökte hållbarhetsredovisningar för att sedan följa upp det med intervjuer med en CSR ansvarig på respektive institut.Slutsats: Genom undersökningen kom vi fram till att finansinstituten följer de krav som ställs på företagen för att uppfylla ett socialt ansvarstagande, vare sig om det är genom lagstadgade regelverk eller etiska normer och värderingar.

Företag står idag inför en ökad press att hantera och styra CSR då exempelvis förbättringar inom sociala eller miljömässiga prestationer påverkar företags resultat, och därmed det långsiktiga värdet för aktieägare. Detta måste mätas för att kunna nå organisatoriska mål och för att skapa en förståelse för hur CSR-prestationer är sammanlänkade till olika processer inom företaget..

This thesis aim to investigate the living conditions among marginalized habitants of suburbs in the Swedish welfare state. To approach an understanding of the complexity of marginalized urban areas, this thesis focus on studying the Stockholm suburb Husby in a context of the May riots 2013.The research method used is qualitative interviews with seven informants, who have a connection to the Husby area.The theories applied to the empirical material is Gösta Esping-Andersens theory on welfare state regimes and Loïc Wacquants theory on advanced marginality, also known as ?The new urban poverty?.By observing the complexity of the Husby riots in a contextual aspect of the Swedish welfare state and the living situation in Husby, the analysis has shown that the Swedish welfare model is going through a changing process. This process means a shift from a social democratic welfare model towards a more liberal regime, with an increased privatization of public welfare and a focus on individual responsibility regarding the citizens own living conditions. Husby as an area is characterized by a low socioeconomic status, a high level of unemployment and poor school results.

Under den senare delen av 1900-talet inträffade ett antal företagsskandaler, såsom Enron och Worldcom, vilket föranledde ett bristande förtroendet för såväl styrelsers som revisorers arbete. För att återfå förtroende på den svenska marknaden introducerades Koden och en uppdatering av Aktiebolagslagen gjordes. En av de förtroendehöjande åtgärderna innebar att revisionsutskotten introducerades. Revisionsutskottens införande innebar ett tydliggörande av styrelseledamöternas arbetsuppgifter, men medförde samtidigt att huvudmannaskapsproblematiken i styrelsen aktualiserades. Vilket leder till vår problemformulering: Hur har revisionsutskottens införande påverkat ansvarsfördelning i styrelsen?För att kunna besvara vår frågeställning har vi genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer utifrån ett expertperspektiv.

Vid analysarbetet utgick ifrån teorier som agentteori, accountability och responsibility samt intressentmodellen. Teoretiska perspektiv: Våra teoretiska utgångspunkter grundar sig på agentteori, intressentmodellen, accountability och responsibility. Empiri: Vi redogör för de frågeställningar som besvarats vid våra intervjuer. Slutsatser: Kunskaperna om den kommunala revisionen är goda för alla de grupper som vi undersökt även om de varierar i viss mån.

Syftet med denna studie var att utröna de aspekter medarbetarna ser som väsentliga i utvecklingsprocessen mot ett utökat medarbetarskap. Studien baserades på teorier om förutsättningar och utveckling av medarbetarskap samt dess effekter. Dessutom beskrivs ledarskapets historiska utveckling samt olika teorier om ekonomistyrning. Studien fokuserade på medarbetarnas uppfattning, men verksamhetschefen gav också sin syn på ämnet. Det empiriska materialet i denna fallstudie samlades in genom fyra personliga intervjuer.

Tendensen att försöka hitta de affärsmässiga argumenten (business case) för CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility eller företagens sociala ansvarstagande) började framträda på 1990-talet. Vetenskapsmännen insåg då att en enda forskningsdisciplin inte kan förklara hur företagens arbetssätt med CSR-frågor kan förbättra deras ?bottom line? och således bidra till en hållbar utveckling av samhället. Både teoretiker och praktiker har vänt sin uppmärksamhet mot framgångsrika företag (bästa praxis).  I korthet innebär ett business case inom CSR ett besvarande av frågan ?Vilka fördelar har företagen och samhället av CSR??.
