Title: Intrinsic- and extrinsic motivation with SDT as a model of explanation ? June Aim: From the basis of Self-Determination Theory find those motives that are the sources of the greatest motivation at Sandvik Tooling and determine if the employees are mostly driven by intrinsic- or extrinsic motivation.                      Method:  The study has a quantitative approach where the empirical part consists of 24 questions from the SDT-theory?s Aspirations index that is divided into six groups evenly distributed on intrinsic- and extrinsic motivations. The questionnaire has been developed in Google forms and distributed digitally to the organisation by e-mail through a contact person at Sandvik Tooling. The respondents? answers are accounted for question by question in the empirical chapter and have been processed with a factor analysis and compared with the SDT-theory.Result & Conclusions: The results we received are in line with SDT-theory and whether people are motivated differently by intrinsic-Personal growth and Community contributions higher than all of the extrinsic motivational factors.

The following degree project deals with the production of an ICC-profile, this in the form ofproducing ICC-profiles for VTAB Backa. The company previously had their own profile butthey weren?t satisfied, so earlier this year they started using the TU standard profile, but theyalso wanted a complement to this in form of a profile created for solely their printing press.The separation settings used when creating the new profiles were based on information fromTU and their profile. Two basic profiles were created and then edited to obtain a better result.The test printings made with the edited profiles showed that the less adjustments that are made,the better. It was also discovered that the TU standard profile eliminates the highlight toneswhiles the new profiles are somewhat darker.

This work is about collecting and wonderment. It starts with an interest for the renaissancephenomenon wunderkammer, and via my own attic it goes to translating an interpreting asmall object of wonderment. The final pieces can be described as a collection of objectsrelated to each other..

Studiens syfte är att ta reda på vilket förhållningssätt naturkunskapslärare på gymnasiet har till den nya läroplanen, Gymnasieskola 2011 (GY11), och vilka faktorer som styr deras planering och utförande av undervisning. Med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra lärare undersöktes lärarnas åsikter och för att analysera lärarnas teori i praktiken genomfördes en observation per lärare. Resultatet visar att lärarna är positiva till den nya läroplanen men att det finns en tolkningsproblematik kring bedömning. Samtliga lärare angav att läroplanen har ett inflytande i deras arbete men att andra faktorer, till exempel elevgruppens storlek, spelar en stor roll. Investors? use borrowing as a way to profit from leverage advantages in their portfolios.When investors borrow with their securities as safety for the loan and the value of thesecurities decrease the investor can get a portfolio with more credit than what is covered bythe value of the securities and risk huge losses. To what extent an investor is allowed toborrow with his portfolio as safety depends on the bank or broker and varies between theproviders. By studying available material and in addition to that making an empirical study Iattempt to find out the reason for the varying degrees of leverage possibilities between thebrokers and how the degree of maximum borrowing on the securities are decided. Thefindings show that decision of leverage degree on a security is made after first making aquantitative analysis of the stocks volatility and liquidity and thereafter make a qualitativeanalysis of the company.

The average life expectancy and the proportion of elderly are increasing globally and inSweden, causing challenges for the society. Physical activity has proven to bring a number ofpositive benefits in older people, making the promotion of physical activity an important partof healthy aging attempts. The degree of physical activity in Sweden?s elderly population isgreater than in previous generations, making this group a positive exception from a widerperspective. A cross sectional study was made in order to investigate which motives tophysical activity that was considered most important among people above 60.

The purpose of this report is to compile and examine the cost of renovation of moisture-damaged bathrooms, to derive a target price. The target price can then be used by insurance companies to estimate the ultimate cost of future bathroom renovations.       The method is based on the compilation and comparison of the cost of repairs of previous water damage in bathrooms. The calculations compiled based on repair estimates for different insurance losses from one of the leading insurance companies in Sweden.       The result shows the average price per square meter of floor area for different sizes of bathrooms. The average price is the basis for the estimate of future renovation costs of bathrooms. The results further show that the bathroom finishes, area and the distance between the entrepreneur and the location of the renovation have great impact on the final repairing cost.

I slutet av Lärarutbildningen växte insikten fram om behovet av variation i matematikundervisningen på gymnasiet. Erfarenheten ger vid handen att eleverna skolas in i ?utantillkunskap? där kvantitet, ordning och reda styr uppfattningen om vad som är kunskap och om hur man lär sig matematik. Denna uppfattning är inte i överensstämmelse med den undervisning som eleverna har rätt till enligt läroplan och styrdokument. Avsikten med arbetet är att ge förslag på laborativa matematiska problemställningar. Laborationer samt tester och utvärderingar genomfördes under några veckor i en gymnasieskola i nordvästra Skåne. För testningen av laborationerna valdes en NV-klass bestående av 31 elever.

The aim for this master thesis is to create an understanding of the intersubjective processes of how individuals are experimenting with their identities in social media and the consequences for the identity and embodiment. The thesis is completed with the help of discourse analysis and a starting point in four complementary theories. Central to the implementation of the analysis is the concept of diffraction. Therefore the thesis is, which is reflected in the choice of theoretical approaches and methods, critical to many aspects of classical philosophy of science and method. The empirical material is based on interviews.

In this degree project we wanted to investigate if there are any possibilities to get a higher income from grain growing by giving the grain to hens instead of selling it. We were also wondering if the manure has any value or if it only cost the egg producer money. If the egg producer cultivate his own grain and is able to store it in layer is there quite much money to earn. Expensive pasture makes it profitability to pay up to 1,35 Swedish crowns for a kilo of wheat. In our calculating we?ve used calculation from the company Lantmännen.

Leverage buyout?s is an opportunity for companies, who can strengthen its market position by expanding its operations, and it add?s value to the company. At every LBO, copmanies make different values of the target company to finally come upp to a final bid. The final bid may in many cases be made of a surplus value, which is the differens between the value of the net-assets and the final bid. This we call goodwill and it has been a target in many discussions.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att ta reda på om det finns en koppling mellan kompisars riskbeteende (rökning, berusningsdrickande och användande av narkotika) och ungdomars psykosomatiska hälsa samt om det finns en koppling mellan klasskamraternas riskbeteende och ungdomarnas psykosomatiska hälsa. I många undersökningar har man kommit fram till att man påverkas av sina vänners beteende samt personer som finns i ens omgivning. De resultat som framkom för niondeklassarna i denna undersökning visar att det finns en koppling mellan kompisars rökning, alkoholkonsumtion och narkotikaanvändande och ungdomarnas psykosomatiska hälsa. Ingen motsvarande koppling till klasskamraters riskbeteende kunde dock fastställas. Detta kan bero på att klasserna i grundskolan är mer heterogena med flera olika ?klickar? inom klassen som inte integrerar med varandra och då blir inte klassens beteende så viktigt för individens psykiska hälsa.

This Bachelor thesis examines the possibility of replacing an outdated, analog video recording system to a digital counterpart. It is key that the video and audio signals remain synchronized, generator locked and time stamped. It is up to nine different video sources and a number of audio sources to be recorded and treated in such a manner which enables synchronized playback. The  different video sources do not always follow a universal standard, and differ from format as well as resolution. This thesis aims to compare a number of state of the art commercial of the shelf solutions with proprietary hardware.

Uppsatsens syfte är att studera två antologier, Dikt och tanke I-III från 1967 och DialogKlassikerna och Dialog 1900-talet från 2000 för att ta reda på om det skett någon förändringvad gäller urvalet. Jag gör en kvantitativ översikt av utvalda antologier, jämför deras innehåll samttittar på tidigare forskning i ämnet. I uppsatsen använder jag mig av fyrafrågeställningar/påståenden. Dessa är: Vad lägger antologiförfattarna vikten vid i sina förord?Hur presenteras de litterära epokerna i respektive antologi? Vilka kvinnliga författare finnsmed i Dikt och tanke respektive Dialog? Hur stor skillnad är det mellan Lgy 65 och Kursplani svenska? Jag fördjupar mig även i den kanondebatt som pågick 2006 och tittar närmare pådefinitionen av en litterär kanon och om gymnasiet skulle vara betjänt av en sådan.Skillnaden vad gäller urval skiljer sig till stor del.

I en hermeneutisk metod analyseras Kerstin Ekmans Grand final i skojarbranschen (2011) med syftet att porträttera och analysera protagonisterna, Lillemor och Babba, i förhållande till identitet som kvinna och författare. I diskussionen urtolkas en möjlig medveten intention med verket, som rör såväl genus och feminism som identitetsskapande. De båda protagonisterna utgör ett gemensamt författarskap, där deras personligheter smälter samman. Det är uppenbart att Lillemor, i flera anseenden, agerar Babbas ansikte utåt och att Babba fungerar som Lillemors kreativa begåvning. Ur ett feministiskt perspektiv påverkas deras förhållande av ett misogynt tillstånd, som samtidigt är oundvikligt för att nå framgång.
