The aim with this master's thesis is to describe the work process with the graduation film Player, by a composers perspective and given conditions. It provides a detailed insight into how the work was done from the script stage to the end result, scene by scene reflecting about both the musical performance and the collaboration between the director and me as a composer. The work was done during the spring term of 2012 at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts..

This study examines how women are portrayed in four of Disney?s feature films, withthe focus on the presentation of relations between women. The films examined areSnow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Sleeping Beauty (1959), The Little Mermaid(1989) and Frozen (2013). The aim is to analyse the development that has taken placefrom a gender perspective, from the earliest film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs(1937), to the latest, Frozen (2013), and to reveal the significance of the femalecharacters for each other. The films? portrayal of women and female relations isdiscussed in relation to previous criticism of Disney for their stereotyped portrayal ofwomen, and through a thematic comparison with the known fairytales on which thefilms are based.

The following essay examines if five Swedish textbooks aimed for religious studies in upper secondary school might show similar flaws to those presented by the Swedish Schools Inspectorate in their review of religious studies conducted in 2012. The method used in this essay is a qualitative study of Swedish textbooks influenced by Lantz definition of wide and thin ethics. This in practice means that I have analysed the five Swedish textbooks using thin and broad ethics while conducting the analysis of the five. The purpose of the essay was to see if the flaws presented in ?Mer än vad du kan tro? regarding ethics and moral education might be present in Swedish textbooks as well.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att undersöka vilka problem och möjligheter man kan möta med användandet av historisk spelfilm i historieundervisningen. Spelfilmens roll som historieförmedlare har ökat under de senaste åren. Idag fungerar spelfilm med historiska motiv som historieförmedlare för många människor, inte minst ungdomar. I många fall används spelfilmen i underhållningssyfte. En stor anledning till att jag gör denna undersökning är för att se närmare på hur läraren kan arbeta med spelfilmen i historieundervisningen utöver ett rent underhållningssyfte.

However, the picture-show was mainly produced by the author of this paper. These posters and the picture-show were brought to Sweden to figure as teaching material during a lesson in religious studies for students in year eight in a Swedish school.

The effect of total dietary fat on the blood lipid profile: a reviewFat consumption has increased in Sweden in the 21th century, probably due to the advancement of the diet low car high fat (LCHF). Also, cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of premature death in Sweden. Various blood lipids are used to evaluate the cardiovascular disease risk; total cholesterol, LDL, HDL and triglycerides among others. High levels of total cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides and low levels of HDL are believed to increase the risk. The purpose of this review was to examine the effects of high-fat-diet on blood lipids, cholesterol, LDL, HDL the ratio between LDL/HDL and triglycerides through a systematic review.

Syftet med den här studien har varit att undersöka vilka skillnader som kan identifieras rörande elevers handlingskomptens beroende på var och hur undervisningen har bedrivits. Jag har velat ta reda på på vilka sätt valet av undervisningsmetoder och valet av plats för undervisningen kan påverka elevernas utveckling av handlingskompetens. Studien har genomförts med en kvasiexperimentell design, där två klasser i årskurs 8 har arbetat med ett tema kring hållbar konsumtion av kläder. Den ena klassen har haft all undervisning i klassrummet medan den andra klassen vid två tillfällen fått gå till stadens centrum för att göra butiksundersökningar och intervjua butikspersonal. I övrigt har båda klasserna fått likartad undervisning av samma lärare.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how students writing their master thesis seek information, how they reason about their information seeking behaviour and how their studies in LIS could have affected their information seeking behaviour. The result was analysed with Roger Säljö?s theory about the sociocultural perspective about how individuals learn in relation to their context and the social practice that they act in. The following conclusions were drawn from analysing the result. The students didn?t really reflect over their information seeking behaviour.

Syfte: Att tillsammans med elever i åk 8, pröva och värdera ett nytt arbetssätt. Frågeställningarna är:? Ökar ett nytt arbetssätt elevernas lust att lära?? Känns undervisningen mer meningsfull med ett nytt arbetssätt?? Förändras lärarrollen och i så fall på vilket sätt?Teori: Lärande sker i samspel och i kommunikation med andra, lärande är en aktiv handling, där den som lär presenterar sitt lärande på olika sätt, genom olika teckenskapande aktiviteter. Kompetens inom IKT och användandet av IKT-verktyg gynnar lärandet och lärarens roll förändras i och med användandet av IKT.Metod: En kvalitativ undersökning där aktionsforskning används i vilken intervjuer, enkäter, observationer och dagboksskrivande ingår.Resultat: Både genomgång med hjälp av flipped classrooms (eleverna ser en film med lektionsgenomgången, innan lektionen börjar) )och redovisning genom pecha-kucha (en form av Power-Pointpresentation) eller film ökar lusten att lära hos de flesta av eleverna i den undersökta klassen. Däremot kan jag inte utifrån resultatet av den här undersökningen säga om dessa arbetssätt också upplevs som mer meningsfulla.

Background: Nerve mobilisation is a controversial subject which has undergone great development in recent decades. Nerve mobilisation is based on a concept of both examination and treatment of the nervous system. Purpose: To study nerve mobilisation as a treatment in physical therapy with emphasis on evidence regarding the method. Method: A literature review. The search was made through the databases: PubMed/Medline, Academic search, PEDro and CINAHL/webspirs.

My purpose with this thesis has been to find out how to choreograph a fight sequence in ananimated movie. With the help of professional stuntmen and dancers, I have tried to findmethods and techniques used on stage and in live-action film and apply those to animatedfilms. To successfully identify the techniques used, I conducted a number of interviews andanalyzed literature that deals with the subject of fight choreography. By the analysis of themethods provided by the choreographers and selected parts of the literature, I have compiled anumber of steps I recommend 3D animators should to take in their efforts to create their ownfight choreography..

Lera bär på någonting ursprungligt och universellt. Jag har velat arbeta idémässigt enkelt och direkt,för att möta leran på det plan jag upplever den som bäst ? med kroppen. Lerans förmåga att mötaden mänskliga kroppen, ta avtryck av den och bära med sig spår av aktivitet har hållits som viktigtsamtidigt som jag förhållit mig till den starkaste keramiska traditionen ? krukan.

Denna undersökning grundar sig på erfarenheter där jag sett att rita är en aktivitet som uppstår spontant i stort sett alla dagar på förskolan och jag anser därav att det är relevant för min profession att undersöka denna aktivitet närmare. Syftet med undersökningen är att bidra med ökad kunskap om ritandet som spontan aktivitet och jag valde av den orsaken att rikta blicken mot vad, varför och hur barn ritar. För att undersöka aktiviteten ville jag även fånga pedagogers förhållande till- och avsikter med det spontana ritandet. Resultatet av undersökningen berättar att då barnen ritade som del av den fria leken var målet för barnen att rita något föreställande. Resultatet visar även att det finns flera möjliga svar till varför barn ritar.

The aim of this study is to analyse and investigate a rather new field of LIS studies, i.e. link analysis which is a part of webometrics. Webometrics has been described as the quantitative study of web based phenomena drawing on bibliometric or informetric methods. Link analysis has its counterpart in citation analysis within the field of bibliometrics. The questions the study investigates are if webometrics can provide LIS with new knowledge and if there is a place for webometric studies in LIS research.

The construction industries are relatively conservative type of business that takes a longtime to adjust for new methods and embrace new ideas. It dose not matter if the newmethod seems to be an improved method as long as it is new and untried. Constructioncompanies are reluctant to change form a longtime working method to a relativelyunknown method.The purpose with our report is to perform an evaluation of BeWi construction method.Our goal are to present the generally opinion about BeWi from the contractors that hasbeen in contact/worked with the method.
