The aim with this master's thesis is to describe the work process with the graduation film Player, by a composers perspective and given conditions. It provides a detailed insight into how the work was done from the script stage to the end result, scene by scene reflecting about both the musical performance and the collaboration between the director and me as a composer. In this essay I analyse the constructions of gender in the series The Phantom by Lee Falk. I apply David Tjeders readings of the bourgouise masculinity, its sensitive character and great risk of falling into unmanliness, when discussing The Phantom?s masculine development. I have analysed three adventures of The Phantom from the years 1937, 1977 and 1996, all authored by original creator Lee Falk. I argue that The Phantom increases his use of violence, therefore risking a loss of character.

The purpose of this study was to to examine what teachers think about visual art and how the learning process in this subject does look like. To answer these issues, I made interviews with five teachers of visual art from different schools, and I examined several examples of pupils? artworks. The stories of the teachers were analyzed in relation to governing documents and with assumptions from sociocultural theory, postmodernism and pedagogical - aesthetic research as theoretical point of view.By the qualitative interview method, the observations of the pupil?s artworks, and by the analysis of the interviews with the teachers, I have come to the conclusion that teachers think differently about art but they try to keep themselves in line with the national governing documents.

During the autumn of 2010 a group of parents met together with two therapist at Mini Maria Hisingen. These parents did have children who had experience of using drugs. This study purpose´s to describe, analyze and understand what has been effective in the work together with this group of parents.The interrogative sentence is; Did we use a narrative approach and what impact did this approach had on the groupprocess? What did the group sessions contribute to the parents and would they recommend other parents to participate in similar sessions? All the sessions were recorded in video. The work was highly inspired by Michael White and his book Maps (2007).

The purpose of this thesis is to examine adults? fictionreading habits. The focus is finding out what differencesexist between men and women to study the significance offiction to readers. The study is based on a questionnairesurvey with men and women coming in to a public library.We used Sten Furhammar?s reading dimensions andcategories to describe the importance of the respondentsreading experience and describe the ways that men andwomen read.Our result shows that the genres men and women prefer arenovels, detective stories/thrillers and biographies.

Vi har idag god tillgång till tekniska hjälpmedel för att förmedla kunskap, Statistiska Centralbyråns [SCB] undersökningar från Sverige visar att nästan alla i åldrarna 16-24 år har tillgång till en dator i hemmet. För många av våra barn och ungdomar är det vardag att kunna hantera en dator. Detta skapar goda förutsättningar för ett fortsatt användandet av film i matematikundervisningen. Forskning visar att användandet av mediepedagogik är gynnsamt för språkutvecklingen och ett välutvecklat matematiskt språk är en av förutsättningarna för att kunna utveckla den matematiska förståelsen.Studien behandlar matematiska filmer av den art man finner på internet. The purpose of this thesis is to gain insight into children`s voluntary reading in their spare time. I have focused on printed books and none of the digitally published Medias. I want to examine how children experience the power adult`s exercise over their chose of books and also why they choose the books they do. The method of this study is qualitative with interviews of six 10 years old children. I conducted the interviews detachedly and I have used two different point of view for my study; Aidan Chamber`s ?Reading Circle? and Barbro Johanssons opinions if children`s participation in terms of their voluntarily book selection.I have also studied other researchers and author´s writings about literacy, children´s reading habits, adults´ attitudes to children´s reading and children´s passion for reading.During my study it became clear that children who like to read prefer to read detective stories for children, a result that also earlier investigations reached..

Vi har skrivit detta arbete med syftet att ta reda på vilka attityder några lärare och elever har till olika typer av mediala texter. Metoden vi valde att använda oss av var intervjuer. De intervjuade var dels åtta elever i årskurs 4-6 och dels tre lärare som undervisade i samtliga av dessa årskurser Vi kom fram till att böcker är den medieform som används mest i undervisningen men att även andra medier, speciellt film, tycks vara någonting som lärare och elever vill ha mer av i undervisningen. Dessa medier har, under undersökningens gång, visat sig användas på olika sätt och med olika syften, till exempel brukar film användas när ett nytt tema introducerades. Intervjuerna visade att samtliga informanter uppskattar en varierad medieanvändning och anser att det på olika sätt gynnar inlärningen. De slutsatser vi kunnat dra efter att ha analyserat det inspelade intervjumaterialet är att olika typer av mediala texter förvisso värderas högt av både lärare och elever, men användningen av dessa speglar inte alltid dessa värderingar.

The purpose of this essay was to investigate which factors the individuals found important in the process of becoming a person with a drug-free life. The framing of the questions we had were to get the experiences, thoughts and wishes of the drug users. The survey was based on thematised qualitative interviews and focused in the personal stories of the interviewees. We interviewed four women and five men, all of which had several years of drug-abuse behind them. We found similarities and patterns and we could identify that the three most important things was the own motivation, will and that the drug-abuser had the possibility to change their social network and had the ability to find other important things in life..

Det här är slutreflektionen för ett examensarbetet Recúrrens, skapat av Mikael Berglund och Johan Cederholm från Medieteknik och Joel Arwidson och Charlie Persson från digital ljudproduktion. Sjuksköterskan har fått spela en mängd olika roller på film, i flertalet av dessa roller får sjuksköterskan gestalta roller som ligger långt ifrån hennes yrkeskompetens. Uppsatsen inleds med en redogörelse för hur sjuksköterskan har porträtterats i andra medier såsom TV, litteratur och musik.
