The media industry in general and the newspaper in particular is going through major changes ? technological, logistical, economical ? due to the dropping sales and width of the printed daily newspaper. Few organisations have been spared the necessary rationalizations and cut-downs in staff. All of them are expected to produce more and better content, in more and new channels and platforms, with less resources. Some have been preparing for this a long time, others have never entered the digital world of news.

The purpose of this study was to examine how five preschool managers are looking at theirleadership and what difficulties they see in their leading. To live up to my purpose I askedthe following research questions: Which parts in their mission do the five preschoolmanagers see as problematic in relation to the curriculum for preschool and the schoolsinspectorate quality investigation? How do the preschool managers describe their leader styleand leader ideals, and is their any difference between the two of them?The method of this study was qualitative interviews with five preschool managers. Theresults that I found was that the most of the preschool managers see their leadership as coproduced(like in Ludvigssons research 2009) with the teachers and that the preschoolmanagers often find other difficulties in their mission compare to the quality investigation(School inspectorate 2012). Syftet med min undersökning var att ta reda på hur mötet mellan eleven, läraren och den rörliga bilden går till i klassrummet. Jag utgick från tre forskningsfrågor som fokuserades på pojkars och flickors medievanor gällande TV och film. Vidare ville jag se hur den rörliga bilden användes i förhållande till det skrivna ordet under svensklektionerna och som sista område ville jag ta reda på vilket förhållningssätt lärarna har till ungdomars fritidskultur med betoning på den rörliga bilden. Metoden bestod i att jag dels gjorde en enkätundersökning samt gruppintervjuer med elever ur båda könen samt två enskilda intervjuer med en kvinnlig och en manlig svensklärare. Resultatet visade att det ungdomar ser på TV under fritiden, och som dominerar deras val av program, styrs av de kommersiella kanalerna vilka betonas av ett utbud av underhållning.

Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka filmiska skildringar av kvinnor och deras sexualitet samt att analysera och diskutera skildringarna utifrån teorier om genus, makt och film. Arbetet görs utifrån ett feministiskt perspektiv där premissen är att kvinnor underordnas män på grund av sitt kön och att filmens narrativa struktur är utformad efter patriarkala språkstrukturer. Uppsatsens syfte är att i studier av fyra amerikanska långfilmer hitta strukturer och variationer för att utifrån ett poststrukturalistiskt perspektiv kunna föra resonemang kring hur karaktärer positioneras och agerar; en viktig utgångspunkt är att strukturer är instabila och formas av de agenter som verkar inom dem. Poststrukturalistiska tankegångar har även format arbetets gestaltande del där diskuterade strukturer lyfts fram i fyra bilder som skildrar ett sexuellt möte. Gestaltningen har inspirerats bland annat av de filmiska skildringarna och har utformats i samband med resonemangen i uppsatsen.

I have studied the suburban municipality of Botkyrka, south of Stockholm, from a rural perspective. Through that I`ve compared how countryside comes into being with the planning and building of suburbs. I have looked for a definition of Countryside, and found that it is often explained or defined in negative terms, as what it is not. In that it says nothing about what it really is, or about the qualitiies it has to it. Botkyrka is a suburb, but it does in large parts consist of countryside. Apart from defining countryside and rural I´ve been searching for a definition of suburbia, of it´s structure and the mental picture we have of it as a cultural phenomena. In order to understand the role that suburbs have in planning I describe their history from Italian renaissance villas to sprawl. By opposing urban and rural, modern urban planning and how rural areas are created, I´ve come to a definition of rural planning and the making of countryside. To make countryside, planning and building should come from individual needs and desires. A relationship to the surroundings based on continous interaction between the human beeing and it´s environment, a constant process of shaping and reshaping. To put my thoughts to the ground I have collected examples of projects and ideas, that fits into my view of what rural planning and making countryside is all about. They are put in different categories according to the possibilities of influence and to what degree it is put into private hands. The first category is ?allemansrätten?, every mans right. That is the rigt to use private land as long as you don´t disturb or destroy.

Projektet och examinationen är uppdelad i två delar. En reflekterande del och en produktion. Den reflekterande delen handlar om att vi ska få svar på de frågor vi ställde oss innan projektets start. Dessa frågor (se projektplanen) ska vi nu ha ett svar på samt att vi nu ska kritiskt granska vår process samt arbete. Vi måste också kunna svara på frågan om vi uppnådde de mål som vi satte upp i starten av projektet.

The purpose of this thesis, was to study decision processes and the importance of information management in the processes within an academic organisation, which led to the work with adaptions according to the law of Equal Treatment of Students in Higher Education, (SFS 2001:1286). A general question was formulated concerning how different information- and knowledge flows interact within an academic organisation and its library during the decision processes. The questions at issue we have tried to examine, concern the factors that have influenced the participants´ choice of information during the decision processes, in their work of adapting the law of equal treatment, and how these choices have influenced the priorities that were made. The theoretical starting point was basically Cohen, March and Olsens Garbage Can Model. We also found the author Chun Wei Choo´s descriptions of organisations, as systems of information processing, useful for parts of our thesis, especially the parts that deals with the role of information management within the decision processes.

The aim of this study is to provide a comprehensive overview of C?ronis beeswax varnish by Lefranc & Bourgeois; its contents, aging properties, solubility, and possible removal methods, with G?teborgs Konstmuseum?s ?Gothenburg Museum of Art? collection as the stud??s material? The purpose of the study is to provide a basis for decision-making regarding the treatment of works treated with C?ronis wax varnish. The study is based on contemporary conservation theory and interpretation-based decision-making and utilizes FTIR, microscopy, and solubility tests to examine the properties of the varnish. The study shows that C?ronis does not appear to be harmful to the treated works and has retained its solubility properties and transparency over time.

Ever since ABB has begun diecasting their rotors instead of permanent mold casting it,variation in the quality of the cast has arisen. Diecasting is performed in three differentmachines, M1, M2, M3 with 400, 660 respectively 800 tons of die locking pressures.The aim of this thesis is to answer the following questions:What is the ?right? cast quality? How is the right quality achieved?For sizes 160-180 solutions will be proposed that consider eccentricity between thelaminate and the short circuit ring as well as elimination of the thin Al film that appearson the outer periphery of the rotors.Through considering the statistic material the most often diverging rotor type has beenidentified and one of the actual rotors has been sent to a laboratory to be analyzed inorder to establish the current defects. The result of the analysis shows that there areplenty of gas- and oxide-porosity.It has been proved that every time the dies temperature decreased below 120°C thecontent of gas porosity increased. It is due to rapid solidification of metal that flowsthrough the ?cold? laminate.It has confirmed that enhanced porosity in squirrel cage causes high impedance in therotors.

I detta projekt forskades det inom optimering av renderingstekniker för att göra det lättare att rendera fram kvalitativa resultat när man använder sig av fluids i program för 3D-grafik. Arbetet innehåller en undersökning där testpersoner bedömt ett antal renderingar samt de optimerade inställningar som används till rendering.
