The purpose of this research is to identify how E-NGO and forest stakeholders, in the study referred to as non-state actors, have influenced the EU timber regulation; through participation and lobbyism towards the decision- makers (policy makers) at EU and national level, to achieve adjustments in the legislative text. The study also examines the relationships between the forest stakeholders, the E-NGOs and the EU-institutions, regarding communication, cooperation, informal and formal consultation where interviews were accomplished with decision-makers from the EU-institutions, forest stakeholders, E-NGOS and representatives from Swedish authorities that participated under the development of the EUTR during the period of 2008-2013. The participation and lobbying from non-state actors have most likely affected the outcome of the regulation, through alterations in the legislative text and through influencing the EU-institutions. Several factors that have affected the efficiency and timing of the influence have been identified through interviews as well as various approaches to influence the decision makers. The findings of the study may be useful for forest related interest groups that are involved in decision-making procedures at EU-level and as substance and material for further research in the subject of forest policy making at supranational level..

In our attempts to understand the world, wildlife films play a significant role. Wildlife films help us to see new places and learn about animals in remote locations, that we otherwise wouldn?t be able to do. Yet wildlife films have throughout history been criticized, mainly for the ambivalent relationship between science and storytelling. While the films give us a scientific impression and say something about the ?reality?, they clearly have the intension to amuse, capture and entertain their audience.

Det är svårt att veta hur man på snabbast möjliga sätt kan skapa 3D datorgrafik till film. Detta arbete handlar om processen (pipeline) för att skapa ett troll i 3D till filmat material med målet att arbeta så tidseffektivt som möjligt utan att försämra kvaliteten. Vi utformar en specifik pipeline med hjälp av kunskaper från nyckelpersoner i filmindustrin, egna erfarenheter samt en litteraturstudie. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the ways in which emotion regulation and mood affects risk taking when it comes to decision making competence. Emotion regulation is an essential part of the attachment process, the development of an autonomous self and functional stress coping systems. Research indicates that there is a relation between a distorted emotion regulation and some psychological disorders like depression, PTSD, anxiety disorders and borderline (or instable emotional personality disorder). There is a definite need to analyze the relation between emotion regulation and decision making competence since it is relatively unexplored. A digital questionnaire was distributed amongst the participants.

Denna uppsats har skrivits i syfte att undersöka hur Nordisk Film, distributören av Sonys spelprodukter i Sverige, kan använda sin marknadsföring för att attrahera nya segment av marknaden. Nordisk Film har sedan en tid distribuerat ett flertal spel, som till sin utformning skiljer sig från majoriteten av det befintliga utbudet på tv-spelsmarknaden. Dessa spel riktar sig mot äldre användare, varför vi ansett det intressant att studera vilka möjligheter detta leder till ur företagets perspektiv. Detta har gjorts med utgångspunkt ur etablerade teorier och två statistiska undersökningar vilka utformats i både explorativt och deskriptivt syfte. Den första undersökningen utfördes på ett större urval och avsåg ta reda på generella åsikter samt kunskap om tv-spel i allmänhet och vissa specifika speltitlar i synnerhet.

By analysing Still the water (2014), Radiance (2017) and True Mothers (2020) by Naomi Kawase this essay will look at her work to see how she portrays the experience of being a woman in relation to her community. Looking into her way of using the camera by applying the theory of haptic visuality allows the spectator to identify themselves in a bodily relationship with the image. By using the camera to closely frame objects of importance for the characters, Kawase leads the spectator to understand the world of the film and enables a more profound understanding of their experience. The aim of this master´s thesis is to examine how librarian´s views of the users can vary for different types of materials in public libraries. We have seen that literature and reading are the central parts of the libraries in Sweden. All other types of media are traditionally seen as complements and in focus for the study is feature film as an example of these other medias. We examine policy documents to see the official view of the general target group of the libraries and compare it to the view of the users of feature films as expressed by the librarians. The study includes several different types of empirical materials such as interviews, observations and documents and the method used is case studies.

People are given better opportunities to participate in polity today. Democratic equality entails that all individuals are equal and therefore they should be included in the process of making the decisions. How can participation be defined and does it mean that having the possibility to participate means that people can influence the process of making the decisions in polity process?This paper focuses on participation and influence in polity and examine the relationship between having the possibility to participate and having the possibility to actually influence polity process on more local level. Therefore I have been examining the citizens? participation and influence in Helsingborg which is my case study.

The first vampire film I ever saw was Interview with a vampire. ?I haven?t been human for two hundred years?, opened up not only the film, but a whole new world I knew nothing about. The world, as it were, opened its doors to me again after I had seen the film adaption of Stephenie Meyers Twilight. I decided to write down a few thoughts, capture my frame of mind, and these paragraphs then turned into a text: ?I tankarnas skal?.              When I did research for this essay I discovered that my text held certain similarities with the modern vampire novel.

An inquiry into the post-war European aesthetic and political landscape should take the international organization Unesco?s colour reproductions and travelling exhibitions of paintings into consideration. In these, the organization implements André Malraux? idea of the ?imaginary museum? as a framework for a future cosmopolitical, aesthetic (and utopian) community. During the late 1940?s, the Swedish government also discusses the need for raising an ?aesthetic awareness? amongst their citizens as a consequence to a poor knowledge in the fine arts.

Under 12 arbetsveckor har vi i projektgruppen producerat en dokumentärfilm för en extern kund, Svenska Kyrkan. En film med 70 procent samtal och de övriga procenten har fördelat emellan, reportage, miljö och klippbilder. Samarbetet oss mellan oss tre har fungerat bra, med samarbetet med uppdragsgivaren inte fungerat lika önskvärt. Där problem med löften, förseningar i tidsplanen och snabba omstruktureringar tillstötte. Jag har applicerat Bill Nichols modus på mitt verk samt jämfört verk som håller kriterierna för de modus som Nichols beskriver.

Avdelningen för reaktorteknologi på Alfa Laval har identifierat svårigheter vid förmedlingen av kunskap till potentiella kunder. Examensarbetet innefattar utveckling och produktion av en film avsedd för utbildning och marknadsföring av Alfa Lavals flödesreaktorer, ART® Plate Reactors, för att förbättra Alfa Lavals sätt att förmedla kunskap till och fånga intresse hos potentiella kunder på mässor.Målet med examensarbetet är att filmen ska användas på kemiteknikmässor där reaktorerna ställs ut, och syftet med arbetet var att med mässbesökarnas förkunskaper som bas utveckla en film som väcker intresse och samtidigt fungerar som ett lärandemedel.Genom intervjuer har information om hur mässor går till, önskemål om filmens utformning, samt bedömning av besökarnas förkunskaper samlats in. Dessa intervjuer, samt litteraturstudier inom området för kemiska reaktorer och lärande med animation och kommunikation på mässor har legat till grund för arbetet med framtagandet av filmen.En storyboard utvecklades, och lade grunden för produktionen av filmen som gjordes i samarbete med filmbyrån Upper/First i Malmö. Transportbranschen kan beskrivas som samhällets blodomlopp och vi är alla beroende av dess tjänster i vårt dagliga liv. Men denna bransch står inför stora utmaningar. Konkurrensen har drivits så långt att vissa aktörer bryter mot lagar och utnyttjar lågavlönad personal. Vilka är konsekvenserna av denna situation? Och vad kan man göra för att vända på denna trend? Sebastian Brännvall har utforskat hur man kan förpacka information så att denna sticker ut och väcker intresse hos en bredare massa.

Studien bygger på antagandet att det är bra för eleven att berätta mycket. Mycket berättande leder till att eleverna får ett större ordförråd, ett tydligt tal, stark självkänsla, glädje till språket och förmågan att strukturera ett material i huvudet. Berättarförmågan är i ständig tillväxt och flytet i talet växer med antalet gånger eleven berättar. Mycket berättande leder till att eleverna hela tiden utvecklar sitt språk och berättande. Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka olika former av berättande och jämföra vilken sorts berättande som visar mest berättande och mest flyt i tal.

Syftet med detta arbete har varit att bekräfta att film är användbart och bör dessutom enligt styrdokument användas i undervisningen. Vi ville veta hur lärare går till väga för att införskaffa rörlig bild till sin undervisning. Syftet har vidare varit att ta reda på vilka hinder lärare, skolledare och sakkunniga upplever för rörlig bild i undervisningen. Arbetet ger en inblick i tidigare forskning om varför film är användbart, införskaffandet av rörlig bild, vilka hinder som föreligger, samt om framtidssatsningar för rörlig bild och andra medier. Med hjälp av enkätundersökningar bland lärare på gymnasieskolor i Malmö vill vi se hur lärare använder sig av rörlig bild idag, och vilka hinder de upplever.
