This study examines how upper secondary school teachers in Västerbotten and Österbotten plan to teach about the Finnish War 1808-09. The study includes written interviews with nine teachers in Västerbotten and eight teachers in Österbotten, who have answered questions concerning school policy documents, content and didactic methods. The purpose has been to examine whether there is a difference in historical culture in how the war is treated in the two regions. Historical culture is here meant within the prospective history lesson, where the pupils encounter history within certain boundaries.The result of the interview study shows that there are differences in structure concerning the school policy documents, but that these differences on the whole are compensated by the widespread interest in the Finnish War by the teachers in both regions. The differences in historical culture can be found within the construction of the content when it comes to the aftermaths of the war as well as the purpose of the teaching.

AbstractThis thesis discusses and analyses a 19th century female author's vanishing from history. The study investigates social relationships as figured and described in the epistolary form, based on letters between the author herself and different members of her family. It also tries to identify the author's position and situation in her time and society according to important themes and motifs in her novels. The main purpose is not to reconstruct history, but rather to show the many complex histories that can also be described, apart from the simplified and generalized one. The aim of this study is to, from a post-structuralist perspective, analyze the position of author Marianne Lundegård-Hagberg, and her role as a performative, discursive person that history forgot..

Uppsatsen studerar hur Oscar Wildes roman 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' har överförts till filmen, genom att jämföra centrala karaktärer, förhållandet mellan 'story' och 'plot' samt hur man skildrar tiden och rummet i de olika medierna. Detta för att se vilken form av adaptation som använts. Teorin baseras på Brian McFarlane, Susan Hayward och Louis Giannetti m.fl..

Syftet med mitt arbete är att undersöka och synliggöra hur två lärare försöker bedriva filmundervisning på skolans senare år och på så sätt förverkliga kursplanen i bild. Undersökningen, som är kvalitativ, sker i form av inspelade intervjuer. Mitt resultat, dvs. lärarnas röster och åsikter, presenteras i en leranimerad dokumentärfilm och på så sätt åskådliggör det konstnärliga i min KME-utbildning. Då antalet deltagare i min undersökning är litet jämförs mitt resultat med en rapport från Skolverket.

Uppsatsens syfte är att utreda huruvida ett visst mått av interaktivitet är möjlig inom ramen för en films berättarstruktur. Med andra ord söker den visa om en tittare kan vara delaktig i filmens handlingsförlopp genom att aktivt påverka det. Genom analys av filmens berättarstruktur och diverse tidigare forskning, fallstudium inom interaktiv film, samt relevanta bitar ur de Narratologiska (berättarforskning) och Ludologiska (spelforskning) skolorna ämnas det finna svar på hur ett interaktivt filmnarrativ kan se ut, samt hur det skulle påverka tittarens relation gentemot filmens karaktärer och handling..

Strax efter milleniumskiftet har ett flertal svenska filmer gjorts som är influerade av populärgenrer som förhållandevis skiljer sig från vad filmpubliken i Sverige är van vid, däribland science fiction och skräck. Tre svenska filmer gjorda under 00-talet: Storm, Frostbiten och Kenny Begins, har valts ut för att se hur de förhåller sig till äldre och mer välbekanta konventioner i svensk film men också konventioner hos de mer internationellt spridda genrer som analysexemplen tillhör. .

Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att få en större kunskap om den musikaliska gestaltningen av karaktärer i film, samt att få en utökad kunskap om filmmusik generellt. Uppsatsen inleds med en kort skildring av filmmusikens historia samt en redogörelse för den tidigare forskning som berör ämnet. Därefter har en funktionell analysmetod, baserad i en kategorisering av filmmusikens olika berättarfunktioner, presenterats. Analysen är grundad i två frågeställningar och dess syfte har varit att ta reda på musikens narrativa funktion i film och de eventuella mönster som kunnat urskiljas i det musikaliska berättandet. Fyra olika scener ur fyra filmer har analyserats, alla med den gemensamma nämnaren att de gestaltar ett eller flera mord.Vidare har analysen sammanfattats.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka på vilket sätt Jesus beskrivs på film. Mer specifikt är syftet att beskriva hur Jesus gudomliga och mänskliga egenskaper gestaltas i fyra olika filmer. Film är ett växande medium och det är också ett medium för att behandla livsåskådning, både explicit och implicit. Det kristologiska grundproblemet kring Jesus natur aktualiseras på film ibland utifrån en teologisk medvetenhet, men ibland också omedvetet. Eslöv received its city privileges in the year 1911 and to celebrate the city?s 100th jubilee it has been decided, among many other things, to reinvigorate the City park. This master thesis presents a new proposal for the design of the City park. As a basis for the new proposal a study of the public park is made in a social and structural context as well as a study of the history of the Eslöv City park. The history of the Eslöv City park is somewhat unclear, especially if there has ever been a one design for the whole park? To create a picture of the public park in general, a study of literature has been made and to describe the history of the City park I Have researched the city archive in Eslöv.

In this paper I have tried to find out the reason the medieval town of Vä was created. I have studied several different areas in witch all, in one way or another, have had an effect on the making of Vä. This areas includes topography, iron production, mill handling, religious effects, royal affliction and also if the name Vä could tell something about Väs history as a religious cult. I have also looked at two other places not far from Vä, the medieval harbour town Åhus and the big village of Fjälkinge. By comparing these three places I tried to find out what Vä had that the other places did not, which made Vä turn in to a town.

Det västerländska och nordiska samhällets historia och värderingar präglar kursplanen, och därmed undervisningen, för ämnet historia i årskurs 4?6. Med tanke på att det i dagens klassrum finns elever med olika kulturella bakgrunder, har studiens syfte varit att undersöka hur elever uttrycker att deras identitet påverkas genom denna historieundervisning. Den teori som inspirerat studien är hermeneutisk fenomenologi. Genom fokusgruppsintervjuer, där arton elever deltagit, har det visat sig att historia som är kopplat till elevens egen bakgrund kan vara av betydelse för elevers identitetsutveckling.

This essay follows a Media Teacher in her work as a coordinator and an artistic leader for a European project called Legalopoli concerning laws and ethics in a senior level school for 13-16 year-olds in Mora, Sweden. The students write film stories about how their characters have to make choices in ethical dilemma situations. Then the learners create interactive computer games together through practical film work. At the same time we can see how the educator also gets into difficult ethical situations, when she is working with the students. This forces her to self-reflection.

The first main purpose of this essay is to describe the situation of young women today here in this part of the world concerning influences from commercial media.The second purpose with this essay is to investigate if dance could be used as a tool against all these sterotyped and superficial pictures and ideals in the industy of commersial media.With some questions I also want to get closer to the answer if dancing is a way for young women to get insight knowledge. I also describe women from dance history who experienced that dance filled them up with energy but also environment where there was oppression.This essay has a gender perspective.The methods are manly based on literature studies but information is also gathered from the Internet and from one film.My results are that dance is a very constructive way to give the young woman that force which is needed when meeting media pictures everywhere. It gives her self-confidence, body awareness, joy and strength in life..

Ambitionen med mitt arbete var att skapa en vacker och intressant 3d-animation med den senaste datortekniken. Animationen bygger på redan befintliga skisser, idéer och material som jag har skapat de senaste två åren och ville avsluta i mitt kandidatarbete. Med detta arbete ville jag få mer förståelse för 3d-tekniken som ett konstverktyg och lära mig mer om hur man skapar grafik. Jag ville även öka min estetiska förmåga och kunskap. Genom att använda mig av grafikprogrammet ?Lightwave 3D? plus diverse andra applikationer som behandlar datorgrafik har jag skapat min film.
