Syftet med detta examensarbete är att se hur filmen Emil i Lönneberga kan användas som ett multimodalt verktyg i undervisningen för att öka elevers läsförståelse. Genom en jämförande och kvalitativ analys vill vi belysa möjligheterna och svårigheterna med att använda sig av enbart bok eller film i undervisningen. Efter en grundlig analys av såväl forskningsrapporter, tidigare forskning och kurslitteratur har vi kommit fram till att både ovana och vana läsare gynnas av att se en film och läsa en bok som en kombination.  .

This essay deals with the relationship between the mendicant movement and the urbanization during the thirteenth century. The aim has been to explore the significance of the Dominicansand the Franciscans for the creation of an urban landscape. This was made through the study of the urbanization process in southern Halland focusing on the town of Halmstad where the friars were established. The importance of the mendicants was also studied through their absence in the towns of Laholm and Falkenberg. To achieve this investigation in a contextual perspective material from different areas was used such as archaeology, history and history of science and ideas.

Ambitionen med mitt arbete var att skapa en vacker och intressant 3d-animation med den senaste datortekniken. Animationen bygger på redan befintliga skisser, idéer och material som jag har skapat de senaste två åren och ville avsluta i mitt kandidatarbete. Med detta arbete ville jag få mer förståelse för 3d-tekniken som ett konstverktyg och lära mig mer om hur man skapar grafik. Jag ville även öka min estetiska förmåga och kunskap. Genom att använda mig av grafikprogrammet ?Lightwave 3D? plus diverse andra applikationer som behandlar datorgrafik har jag skapat min film.

Denna rapport går igenom skaparprocessen över en re-design av en webbsida och framtagning av en presentationsfilm för att se om företaget Ligistfilm kan uppfattas på ett nytt sätt. Från en svart, mörk och maskulin webbsida till en ljus, modern och frigjord tillsammans med en presentationsfilm över hur Ligistfilm arbetar, tittar vi närmare på hur besökarnas syn på företaget kan förändras. Förändringen innefattar även ett skifte i fokus, från en webbsida med fokus på företaget Ligistfilm till en webbsida med fokus på individuella regissörer. Användartester som utförts visar hur Ligistfilm uppfattas utifrån den gamla webbsidan jämfört med den nya webbsidan tillsammans med presentationsfilmen..

This research overview examines what research says about upper secondary school students' difficulties with complex numbers. The three main areas covered are general difficulties with complex numbers, how to teach the subject, and whether the history of complex numbers can be beneficial in this teaching. A historical deep dive into the history of complex numbers is also included to further investigate this idea. The results show that upper secondary school students struggle with complex numbers in various ways. The name of the subject creates a negative connotation, as it is initially perceived by students as fictional and complicated. Furthermore, a consequence of the inherently abstract nature of complex numbers is that gaining a comprehensive understanding of them is challenging.

Japanese horror film has since the late 1990: ies been extremely successful. The success could probably, at least partly, be due to the Japanese narrative style (which in my own opinion is quite suitable and effective in horror films). Syfte: Mitt syfte med denna uppsats är att undersöka vad som händer med en bok när den överförs till film. Min huvudfråga i detta arbete är att, genom att jämföra boken Harry Potter och de vises sten med filmen, ta reda på om någonting, och i så fall vad som har förändrats när boken blev film. De frågor jag ställer mig för att kunna besvara syftet är: Hur långa är kapitlen i boken (antal sidor) och i filmen (antal minuter och klipp)? Vad från boken finns inte med i filmen? Vad har man valt att inte ha med? Vad har man lagt till i filmen? Vilka sekvenser? Är det någonting man har ändrat vid överföringen från boken och i så fall vad? Metod: Jag kommer i denna uppsats att använda mig av en kvalitativ metod. Syftet med en sådan är att skaffa sig en djupare kunskap än den man får genom till exempel kvantitativa analyser.

The objective with this essay is to establish the benefits of inserting media as an obligatory topic in the upper secondary school. In order to succeed with this I will not only type this essay I will also produce a medial production in the form of a film.  I have interviewed two senior masters on Södertörns College where I have reviewed different questions that relate to the matter's weight in school values and the society. The purpose of this essay is to examine whether the descriptions of Stalin's terror in history textbooks for high school changed from the 1950s until the 2010s. Since previous research shows that textbook content is influenced from different directions and that it dominates in teaching, therefore I want to find out what similarities and differences that exist in the textbooks. The survey is based on a qualitative approach because I want to have a profound picture of the descriptions of Stalin's terror. The results of the survey show that the number of casualties and the descriptions on the famine has changed over time. Furthermore, textbooks also found it difficult to distinguish between terror, politics and ideology.

This paper deals with village history around millstone quarry Eastern Utsjö in Malung, Sweden, in the hope of finding deposits that could date the quarry, in that the quarry in the current situation is dated only by the millstone fragments outside the resort. My purpose was to conduct a discussion on the quarry alone can be dated by deposits outside the resort. I have used FMIS RAÄ:s fornsök and a lot of literature to identify village history. The history of Banu Umayya has since the collapse of the caliphate occupied a major part in Islamic historiography. The present thesis analyses the presentation of the Umayyads in Ibn Khaldun?s al-Muqaddima and its relation to previous historical traditions. The thesis examines the social and intellectual context in which Ibn Khaldun stood and how it is represented in his historiography, while also providing an overview of the various socio-political, intellectual and historiographical developments in Islam. The theoretical perspectives are based on the concept of agency, examining the intellectual room for manoeuvre that the historian disposed of while composing the works.

The electronic music studio ?Elektronmusikstudion? (EMS) inStockholm was initiated in 1963. It has had several different managers throughout the years. EMS soon became a rather costly project. Furthermore there have been several conflicts among staff and users wich has contributed to EMS fairly turbulent history.

This essay follows a Media Teacher in her work as a coordinator and an artistic leader for a European project called Legalopoli concerning laws and ethics in a senior level school for 13-16 year-olds in Mora, Sweden. The students write film stories about how their characters have to make choices in ethical dilemma situations. Then the learners create interactive computer games together through practical film work. At the same time we can see how the educator also gets into difficult ethical situations, when she is working with the students. This forces her to self-reflection.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att undersöka vilka problem och möjligheter man kan möta med användandet av historisk spelfilm i historieundervisningen. Spelfilmens roll som historieförmedlare har ökat under de senaste åren. Idag fungerar spelfilm med historiska motiv som historieförmedlare för många människor, inte minst ungdomar. I många fall används spelfilmen i underhållningssyfte. En stor anledning till att jag gör denna undersökning är för att se närmare på hur läraren kan arbeta med spelfilmen i historieundervisningen utöver ett rent underhållningssyfte.

The guide gives a brief introduction to the history of the death penalty in Swedish legal history, to the legal process and to the judicial authorities. It also adresses the relationship between the various bodies and the relationship between law and jurisprudence.
