This analysis is about the fourth basic competence and how you can define it, what it includes and if it is possible to find it in the new curriculum for the Swedish high school; Gymnasiereformen -07. The analysis was focused on the following subjects; Mathematics, Social science and Swedish. The aim with this analysis has been to create a summary in the field of information literacy and to define the fourth basic competence. The analysis were focused on and delimited by the following conceptions; information literacy, digital competence and the information search process. The sources of information has primarily been taken from the field of information literacy and statements from professionals in the fields of information literacy and education.

Vi använder oss dagligen av ett rikt bildspråk med hjälp av t ex metafor. Senaste forskning har visat att bildspråket har en stor betydelse i vårt sätt att tanka och kommunicera med varandra. Samtidigt är bildspråket betraktas som en slag avvikelse i vårt sätt att kommunicera och tänka som anser ske på en bokstavlig nivå. Jag blev intresserad av att utforska denna dikotomi och i en viss mån ville jag gestalta den i mitt projekt. Jag ville undersöka om det finns ett sätt som anses vara mest effektiv för att remediera en poetisk text till ett visuellt medium.Jag skapade två filmer med ett identiskt ljudspår som innehåller en musik komponerad för en poetisk högläsning.  Genom att förhålla mig till textens innehåll på olika sätt i skapandet av mitt bildmaterial försökte jag undersöka frågan och även utforska om manliga och kvinnliga deltagare skiljer sig åt i deras respektive mottagande av de två filmerna..

"A discourse analysis of the debate on prostitution 1993-2011" The aim of this essay is to investigate how prostitution is constructed in the debate. The analysis is based off debate articles from four of the biggest Swedish news papers. Articles from two periods of time has been chosen, 1993-1999 and 2008-2011. The specific periods were selected because they revolve around the Swedish ban on the purchase of sexual services in 1999, and when it was evaluated in 2008. With a constructivist aim based on gender research, the themes and subject positions of the debate are explored via discourse analysis.

With a hermeneutical method using narratology this thesis is interpreting the auteure Lars von Trier´s discussed movie Antichrist. On one hand within the limits of the hermeneutic Paul Riceours analysis of structure is used to reconstruct the narrative of the film out of the different part of discourses that I have construed in my first reading to find out a deeper comprehension of the relation between the characters and their relations to the different discourses. On the other hand the discourses which extracts out of His and Hers actions and statements are related to the clues that I´ve found out from interviews with von Trier regarding Antichrist where he, among other things, touches upon philosophical work of Friedrich Nietzsche and his own disregard about protestantism and religion. All in all this first phase of interpretation is termed the different horizons which I finally interprete and coalesce with my subjects comprehension on a metadiegetic and meta-metadiegetic level. By this a ?fusion of horizons? in the sense of Hans-Georg Gadamer can take place, which directly leads into the big scene of Relevations.

Jämfört med äldre narrativa medier såsom film och skönlitteratur är spelbranschen ung och anses på många sätt vara mindre sofistikerad ifråga om emotionellt djup. Spel har, till skillnad från film där emotioner väcks genom empati med karaktärer, ofta ett förstapersonsperspektiv vilket gör det lättare att förbättra spelupplevelsen genom att väcka emotioner hos spelaren direkt. I detta arbete syftar emotioner på de av djupare slag som traditionellt sett varit sällsynta inom spel då dessa ofta är primärt gameplaydrivna. Verktyg för att förändra ett spel till att bättre väcka emotioner existerar i form av sätt att skriva vilket gör karaktärer, handling och dialograder djupare och mer intressanta.

This essay investigates how teacher sees and uses mainstream movies as a teaching method. The main question approached is: How does teachers use feature films as a teaching method? Which movies are used and how does their working methods surrounding the movies look like? The purpose of the essay is to make the reader reflect over what influence mainstream media has over the historic knowledge of the students and how teachers use that for educational purposes. The business around historical film has grown over the years and is now a million dollar industry. The conclusion is that teachers mostly use feature films to provoke emotional reactions from the students.

Leber´s hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON), a disease affecting vision, is caused by several point mutations in mitochondrial DNA. Mutations leading to a defect NADH ubiquinone oxidoreductase protein will affect the respiratory chain and cause a disturbed ATP production. It is still unknown why this defect leads to the degeneration of retinal ganglion cells and cells in the opticus nerve as well as demyelination of axons in these areas. Analysis of mitochondrial DNA is an important tool in the diagnosis of the disease. At the present time analysis is based on cleavage by restriction enzymes, which only detects two of the most frequent mutations: m.3460G>A and m.11778G>A.

The purpose of this paper is to explore how masculinity and femininity are constructed in the magazine Veckorevyn, through a critical discourse analysis of 18 articles from six issues in 2011. This is done by using a variety of theories and previous research results, which is gender theory, the theory of late-modern society and media theory. The analysis shows that Veckorevyn depicts virility and feminine differently. Furthermore, pointing the results from the analysis that a change of manhood and womanhood takes place in the social practice. The selection of articles from the magazine also shows that Veckorevyn seems to promote gender equality. .

This master's thesis deals with how a school class of 19 students that are 12 years old,perceive the conception of the library and its activities, and how this can be studied by usingfour different approaches: analysis of the children's drawings, analysis of the children'sessays and analysis of their answers to questions in an inquiry and in interviews. Denna uppsats handlar om skillnaden som uppstår mellan två filmer som är baserade på en och samma bok samt hur denna skillnad märks vad gäller den postkoloniala teorin. Filmerna och boken som har utgåtts från är Wuthering Heights (1939) av William Wyler, Wuthering Heights (2011) av Andrea Arnold och boken Svindlande höjder (1847) av Emily Brontë. De teorier som är använda som utgångspunkt för analysen är postkolonialism och intermedialitet. Analysen har en hermeneutisk synvinkel.Slutsatsen visar på att det finns många sätt man kan tolka en text. Hur man än väljer att göra det så gäller det att göra det lika ordentligt som Wyler och Arnold har gjort för att på så vis förmedla det syfte man vill få fram med filmen.

Denna uppsats har baserats på en undersökning av vad en specificerad målgrupp föredrar och vilka faktorer de tycker är viktigast kring onlinefilm. Med onlinefilm menas film som i ett digitalt format distribueras och konsumeras via Internet, antingen genom att ladda ned eller streama filmen. Målgruppen för undersökningen bestod av civilingenjörsstudenter inom informationsteknologiska programmet vid Uppsala Universitet. För att kunna ta fram faktorer att behandla i enkätundersökningen användes ett sätt att se på produkten som innehåller tre olika nivåer. För att anpassa synsättet till produkten onlinefilm och denna uppsats har modellen som från början innehöll nivåerna kärnprodukt, den faktiska produkten och den utvidgade produkten breddats till att också innefatta pris och konsumentbeteende.

Sexual harassment is something that has existed for several decades, and are something that still occurs today in many places around our society. In the fall of 2017, a movement called the Metoo-movement, started and spread across the whole world, which made an impact on many countries ? particularly Sweden. Serval women from different occupational groups started to share their stories to the media, about sexual harassment that they gone thru, in order to show that the perpetuators are just ordinary men in their industry, which is something that media previous misconception provided about. The first stories that reached the Swedish residents were from the Swedish film- and theater industry, and were also one of the most known and visible first call-out groups. They shared 703 different stories about sexual harassment to one of Sweden's leading newspapers, Svenska Dagbladet, in november of 2017.
