The real estate industry is a sector where the companies generally have a capital structure which is high leveraged. The financing? with the related terms ? is therefore specifically of high importance for the companies in the sector. Traditionally, the way of obtain financing is by borrowing from the bank. Lately, due to new bank regulations, the banks have become more restrictive in their lending which have lead to a growth of other financing alternatives.

The new Swedish Companies Act allows Swedish companies to issue two instruments that were previously prohibited: mandatory convertibles and participating debentures. The aim of the thesis is to conduct a cross sectional study of Swedish corporate hybrid securities, especially in the light of the new Companies Act. The cross sectional study also includes areas such as credit rating, accounting and tax. The thesis concludes that it is possible, under Swedish law, to issue corporate hybrid securities that qualify for both high equity credit and tax deductible interest payments. The use of certain hybrid provisions are, however, restrained by Swedish company law.

Denna filosofie kandidatuppsats skrivs inom utbildningen Upplevelseproduktion vid Luleå tekniska universitet - Institutionen för konst, kommunikation och lärande. Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilken typ av upplevelser Tate samt The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) erbjuder via deras webbplatser, samt att testa modellernas; Upplevelsefälten (Pine & Gilmore, 1999) och De tre generationerna (Boswijk et al., 2007), applicerbarhet på dessa två fall. Studien syftar till att besvara tre forskningsfrågor: ?Vilken generations upplevelse erbjuds via Tate respektive MoMAs webbplats??Vilken typ av upplevelser erbjuds via Tate respektive MoMAs webbplats utifrån modellen Upplevelsefälten (se figur 5)??Kan de två upplevelsemodellerna 4E - Upplevelsefälten (se figur 5) samt De tre genereationerna (se figur 6) tillämpas i en analys av dessa två webbplatser?För att besvara de tre forskningsfrågorna valdes en deduktiv ansats samt fallstudie som metodteori. De två fallen har analyserats utifrån två valda teorier; Upplevelsefälten (Pine & Gilmore, 1999) samt De tre generationerna (Boswijk et al., 2007).

Vi människor har en speciell förmåga att känna igen rörelser från andra människor. Olika undersökningar försöker komma fram till om vi är perspektivberoende i vår igenkänning av dessa rörelser, med det menas att vi till exempel skulle ha lättare att kännna igen en rörelse om den sågs från ett visst håll (tex. framifrån). För att studera perspektivberoende kan en ljuspunktsfigur som utför en viss rörelse roteras på olika sätt. Olika undersökningar har roterat figuren antingen plant (figuren visar rättvänd eller upp-och-ner) eller på djupet (figuren visas från vänster eller höger sida).

Följande examensarbete är ett gestaltningsinriktat planförslag för en ny stationsnära stadsdel i Landskrona stad som vidareutvecklar områdets kollektivtrafiknära läge. Den fysiska utformningen bygger på en nätstruktur med gena stråk och fysiska rumsbildningar som skapar målpunkter, grönstruktur och utblickar i landskapet. Planförslaget baseras på en diskussion om skala, utformning och synintryck med slutsats att den fysiska grundutformningen och byggnadernas arkitektur hör ihop, där nyckeln är variation, mänsklig skala och mängden synintryck som miljön erbjuder. Landskrona är en sundsnära mellanstor stenstad i Skåne med karaktär av befästningsstad, parker, kolonier och tydliga bebyggelseårsringar. Staden har också en industrihistoria som varvsstad där varvskrisen på 1970-talet slog hårt mot staden med stor arbetslöshet till följd. Än idag finns ett verksamt varv kvar och kranmastar utgör ett tydligt riktmärke i staden. I arbetet ligger fokus på skala och utformning, två nybyggnadsprojekt har analyserats, stadsdelen Örestad i Köpenhamn och Bo01-området, Västra Hamnen, Malmö. Även skala och stadsplanemönster i Landskrona har studerats.

Vid rening av avloppsvatten använder man ofta olika typer av fällningskemikalier för att rena vattnet på bland annat fosfor. Innan man definitivt väljer fällningskemikalie bör man alltid genomföra fällningsförsök för att fastställa om man kan uppå önskade resultat. Helst ska kemikalieåtgång och kostnad bli så låga som möjligt. Efter småskaleförsöken är det även bra att testa i full skala för att se om de resultat som uppnåtts i labbet även uppnås i reningsverket. Rosviks reningsverk är ett av många små reningsverk i Piteå kommun och är dimensionerat för att ta emot avloppsvatten från ungefär 2 100 personer.

I dagens västerländska samhälle finns ett kroppsideal som påverkar unga kvinnors inställning och attityd till den egna kroppen. Kroppsidealet ställer krav på att kvinnan ska vara slank, solbränd och vältränad. Dessa ideal kan medföra att individen ej förmår att acceptera sin kropp. Syftet med denna enkätstudie var att jämföra unga kvinnors kroppsattityder beroende på utbildningsinriktning. Studien genomfördes med en enkät som innehöll Body Attitude Test (BAT) och Figure Rating Scale (FRS).

Uppsatsen har undersökt de gotiska verbalprefixen med utgångspunkt i att de ingår i ett system, i vilket prefixen hör hemma på olika positioner före verbets stam. Syftet har varit att fastställa, om någon av dessa positioner har varit avsedd för prefix bärande särdraget State or Change of State, som inom det teoretiska ramverket Lexical Template Morphology antas bära tre variabler. Materialet har bestått av belagda kombinationer av preverbala element, samtliga påträffade förekomster av verb på miþ- och dis-, samt stickprov av verb på ana- och us-. Genom en i huvudsak morfologisk analys har fem preverbala positioner i en ordbildningsmall föreslagits, här från det yttersta till det innersta kallade P5?P1.

WSP building physics in Stockholm has certified the preschool Temmelburken in Bromma with the system of certification Miljöbyggnad. The rating of the building became BRONZE. In this thesis the preschool has been investigated with respect to the three areas: thermal climate, use of energy and improving of the level of certification. The thermal climate at the preschool has been investigated by a questionnaire survey and by measurements in order to do comparisons between the results from the two investigations as well as with the results of the simulations that WSP has done at the certification of the preschool. The differences between the results from the simulations and the questionnaire survey for winter as well as from the measurement performed with a comfort meter the 19th of March are concidered to be reasonably small since they give rise to the same rating according to Miljöbyggnad.   Operational data for the use of energy for the preschool have been obtained in order to do comparisons with simulations performed by WSP and Svenska Besiktningar AB. The comparison shows that the simulated values for the specific use of energy are lower than what the real specific use of energy would be for the preschool, since just the operational data for the heat energy is higher than the simulated values. At the investigation of the possibility of improving the level of certification it was found that the rating of the preschool can be raised from BRONZE to SILVER by improving the ratings of the ?thermal climate summer? and the ?daylight?.

Introduction: Anxiety and depression are common among patients enrolled in psychiatric outpatient care. Ear Acupuncture is an alternative form of treatment that has been shown to relieve anxiety and depression in previous studies.Aim: To evaluate ear acupuncture as a group treatment for depression and anxietyMethod: A psychiatric outpatient clinic has been offering group treatments with ear acupuncture for anxiety and depression for 5 weeks. Participants of the study have answered self-rating scales Montgomery Åsberg Depression Rating Scale, Beck Anxiety Inventory and Sheehan Disability scale before and after the treatment period. Material was collected in the period 2008-2012 and has been analyzed in SPSS.Results: Data from 31 patients were included in the study. The results from the study showed a significant difference, between the measurements before and after treatment, with a reduction of the average values in the three different scales.Summary: From this study, it is difficult to draw any conclusions about the effect of ear acupuncture.

Background: In 1999 the Swedish pension system was reformed with an aim to create a stable and high return on pension assets. First, Second, Third and Fourth general pension funds, hereby referred to as AP1-AP4, had an important part in the reform. AP1-AP4, also called the buffer funds, was assigned to secure long-term, big parts of the pension capital. The funds objective is by law, to manage the fund's assets in a manner that provides maximum benefit for the state pension. The funds will also invest pension assets with an overall low level of risk while achieving a sustainable high return.Aim: The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the First-Fourth AP-Funds is meeting its objectives regarding risk and return according to Swedish law.
