Although research on gothic Fiction has given limited attention to children?s Fiction, the last two decades have witnessed an increasing interest. To date the focus has been mainly on English literature with a recurring tendency to define children?s gothic Fiction as a text corpus separate from gothic Fiction in general. As a result, children?s gothic Fiction has become isolated and is not considered as part of the gothic genre, neither the literature nor its adaptations. The aim of this study is to view children?s gothic Fiction as an integral part of the gothic genre.

Hur fungerar indexering av skönlitteratur? En konsistensundersökning
The aim of this master thesis is to find out how indexing of Fiction works. I look at the consistency when users? choices of index words are compared with each other and I also compare users? choices to the current indexing made by libraries. I examine the subject heading list, Att indexera skönlitteratur, to find out how well it works in this particular context. The investigation included seven users who, in three steps, are creating a subject heading index of the Swedish novel Klippdockan by Cecilia Dahlheim.

Hylluppställning och användarbeteende i en skönlitterär samling : en fallstudie av Lunds stadsbibliotek
The aim of this thesis was to look closer into the shelf arrangement and user behavior in a Fiction collection with the municipal library in Lund as an example. The purpose was to investigate to what extent the shelf arrangement in this library is adapted to the behavior of users when it comes to searching for and choosing Fiction. The study is mainly focused on the division between Hc- and Hce-classified books (Swedish Fiction and Fiction translated into Swedish), the special shelving of the publications of the last five years, and the genre categorization. The user behavior is primarily examined from the perspective of three search strategies; looking for a specific author or title, browsing within a genre or browsing without having a specific genre in mind. The study also deals with within which genres of Fiction the users are searching and if they are looking for a book that is translated or not, new or older.

Konsistens vid indexering av skönlitteratur för barn och ungdom
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate a Swedish subject headings list for childrens and young adults Fiction, from the perspective of consistency, and to analyze this concept's importance as a tool for measuring indexing quality. Another aim is to examine how librarians view the subject headings list as an aid for indexing Fiction. The main questions are: How does the degree of consistency change when using a subject headings list for indexing Fiction compared to free indexing? How does indexing change according to the facets Form/Genre, Time, Space, Matter and Person when using the list? What do consistency calculations reveal about indexing quality? How do the participants look upon the list as an aid for indexing? The empirical material consists of results from two different indexings of Fiction, conducted by librarians. Consistency is calculated using Hoopers and Rollings algorithms.

Mord i framtidslandet : Samhällskritiken i Per Wahlöös framtidsromaner
This paper investigates the science Fiction novels of Swedish crime writer Per Wahlöö, most famous for his collaboration with his writing partner Maj Sjöwall on the ten Martin Beck mysteries. During two important years, 1964 and 1968, Wahlöö wrote the novels Murder On the 31st Floor and The Steel Spring, set in a near future land ruled by a social fascist power structure where political opposition is eradicated. The pretexted notion of this paper is that these novels consists of extensive quantities of criticism against the Swedish welfare state and the monopoly-capitalistic Swedish press during the sixties. Through the lens of science Fiction theory and the notion of the novels as historical sources this paper concludes that PerWahlöö´s science Fiction becomes a bridge between the classic Swedish detective novel and the new social critic crime Fiction in the style of Sjöwall-Wahlöö and others. The novels are also representations of the historical process in the mid-sixties during the radical turn: the sci-fi novels as social criticism of the contemporary society ? an utopian flare.
Riskminimering i föräldrasamverkan
The way we socialize today is radically different from how it was only twenty years ago. Since the arrival of the Internet more and more of what we know about the lives of our friends comes from text-based social networks, or blogs. This means that we all, more or less, have become authors of our own life stories and that the reality we live in have become Fictionalized. In this paper I explore what effects this postmodern process of dissolving boundaries has had on the autobiographical genre, where the line between Fiction and reality is traditionally stressed. By analysing Carina Rydberg?s (b.
